0x800C013B
I can't start windows mail after installation.
0x800C013B error code
My suggestion is only for Windows Mail in Vista. It will not work for Windows Live Mail. This is why you must ask in the appropriate forum for WLM and not here.

Create a new Folders.dbx.
In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
The path to the message will be very similar to this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express
With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it. A new one will be created when you open OE.

full memory of Outlook express error 0x800c013b
When I go to OE I receive this message memory or the disk is full. Then get an error (0x800Co13B). Then another one that says file MSOE. DLL could not be initialized. What I can do. Thanks for your help.
Close OE and delete the message store Folders.dbx.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
If you can not open OE at all, the path to the message will be very similar to this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

Remove Folders.dbx. A new Folders.dbx file will be created when you open OE.
Note these possible side effects:
When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. Please understand that you will lose the mail directory structure, all the discussion lists and all synchronization options and message rules will probably have to be edited.

Outlook Express can't open my Inbox folder, so I can not receive emails, even if I can send them. It says file cannot be displayed: possible causes low disk space, memory
OE Inbox is corrupt. Because you can not open to move or delete messages, you will need to create a new Inbox and rely on a tool to retrieve messages.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
With OE closed, find the box of Inbox.dbx and rename it to Inboxold.dbx. A new Inbox will be created automatically when you open OE.
Now OE should work, but you have messages to retrieve from the Inboxold file.

http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspxGeneral precautions for Outlook Express:
Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Microsoft says find & rename "folders.dbx". Search "folders.dbx" on C, D & F drives hard but nothing turned up. What now?
Hi Jill,
Thanks for posting. To resolve this problem, proceed as follows.
1. click on start, point to find and then click files or folders.
2. tap sent Items.dbx in the named box.
3. now you will need hard drive click main (usually drive C) in the search box in and then click Find now.
4. right click on the Sent Items.dbx file and then click Rename.
5. then click OK after typing sent Items.old.
6. Finally, restart Outlook Express. This action automatically creates a new Sent Items.dbx file.I hope this helps! Shawn - Support Engineer - MCP, MCDST

More than one of your dbx files are corrupt. Instead of messing around trying to find who they are, a new identity would be an easier option.File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. My outlook express does not open.
I get errors the application could not open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be interrupted ot memorey or your disk is full. For more assistance, contact Microsoft support. (0x800C013B) then when I click OK it says Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE. DLL could not be initialized. Outlook Express is not installed properly. It was working fine and I have no memory problems. I have Windows XP.
Help, please.
I can't restore to a day of classes, and I can't find the base of messages because OE does not open.
I tried to do it on my own from your site, but cannot go further.
Thank you
See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#7 , you probably need to remove folders.dbx and OE should start. After making a backup of your messages and if there is corruption still it would be advisable to go to the file. Identities and together a new identity and then when that works very well, go to file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.
