I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • Reinstall Microsoft Camera Codec Pack has stopped working in Windows 7 Home Premium, does not solve the problem.

    Hello.

I've been an avid user of Microsoft Camera Codec Pack, and he worked a lot since I installed it-up to this point.
A few days ago I noticed that my RAW / CR2 files are not displayed in the windows photo viewer (nor were the thumbnails).

I tired to reinstall the codec without success pack; the installation process works fine, but after restarting the same problem persists (this also applies when I 'fix' Camera Codec Pack). I tired both the x 86 version and 64bits without result.

I'm at the end of my mind, and I would be very happy to help :)

If the following codec pack is a more recent version
It may be worth a try.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Microsoft Camera Codec Pack

(Windows 7, Windows Vista Service Pack 2)
This package will allow RAW supported

There is also an alternative retail (not freeware):

I lost my sound and I keep having to reinstall collection Solitaire Microsoft came with my HP laptop. Any suggestions?

    Original title: lost my sound

This occurred after the most recent Windows update (around 7/10)? If so, the KB2962407 update may have been the origin of the problem. I fixed it by uninstalling this particular update. Details can be found here:

  • Cannot open RAW photos using Microsoft Camera Codec Pack on Windows 8.

Original title: Remove the codec of the victory camera 8

Downloaded codec does not allow me to open raw photos in windows Explorer, and now I can't open them in Photo Paint.

    Hi Chris,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we are happy to help you on this question.

Depending on the issue, you downloaded a Microsoft Camera Codec Pack for Windows 8 on the computer which creates problems to open raw photos in Windows Explorer and in Windows Paint.

I wish to gather information to solve this problem in a better way:

    (1) do get you any error message when you try to open the photos using Microsoft Camera Codec pack in Windows Explorer as well as in Paint of Windows on the computer?
    (2) what size device that you use to display pictures using the Camera Codec Pack?
    (3) the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack does support the format of the device that you use to view RAW photos?

I suggest you to check if the format of the device you are using is supported by Microsoft Camera Codec Pack.

    You can check the link:

If the format of the device you are using is supported by Microsoft Camera Codec Pack, you can check the manufacturer's Web site and download the latest version of the software for this particular device. That might solve the problem.

Please answer us with the necessary information if the problem persists.
  • My Microsoft Camera & Scanner Wizard comes up when I plug my player card im

Before, when I plug in an SD card reader on my port side of the USP, the Microsoft scanner and Camera Wizard & digital photo always would come right up on the screen. Then, I could import my photos on the SD card and keep the that the photos were taken in numerical order.  Please notify.

I was wondering... you run Windows Live Photo Gallery?

If_Yes_try connect your media player with the memory card
inserted and in WLPG go to... File / import from a camera or scanner.

Also... with the media player connected... If you go to... Start /.
My computer... There must be one or more of the drives listed as...
Removable Disk... These are the slots of the media player.

If you insert your memory card and do a right click the Removable Disk that
represents that slot you can choose Explore and see the content of the
card. From there you can copy and paste or drag and drop the files in a folder
    on your hard drive.

Also... right click on the removable drive that represents the memory card
and in the menu... Choose... Properties / Autoplay tab and open the fall
window and select pictures. And... ICT... "ask me each time to choose
an action "." Maybe this will restore the AutoPlay window when you insert
    the map.

You could also try... on the left by clicking on the button "Restore default settings" / apply / OK.
