Reinstall Microsoft Camera Codec Pack has stopped working in Windows 7 Home Premium, does not solve the problem.
Hello.
I've been an avid user of Microsoft Camera Codec Pack, and he worked a lot since I installed it-up to this point.
A few days ago I noticed that my RAW / CR2 files are not displayed in the windows photo viewer (nor were the thumbnails).
I tired to reinstall the codec without success pack; the installation process works fine, but after restarting the same problem persists (this also applies when I 'fix' Camera Codec Pack). I tired both the x 86 version and 64bits without result.
I'm at the end of my mind, and I would be very happy to help :)
Running on Windows 7 Edition Family Premium and my camera photo is a Canon 5 d Mk II.

Client to make VoIP calls
I recently started having problems, make VoIP calls from my computer. I use VoIP Busters (and using it for a few years without any problems). Evertime I try to call the destination phone rings a couple of times and then stop. The next thing that happens is an error message that says: "Client for VoIP calls has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. It is followed by another screen that says: "a problem caused blocking the program working properly." Windows will close the program and inform you is a solution available. " Nothing happens. How to overcome this problem.
I finally had to resort to the re-installation of Windows. This solves the problem. But don't forget to back up your computer and email address / addresses before you do.

I can't get my autoblogging software to run on Vista. I know it works with vista, because other users have on their machines. The developer also said it works on vista very well.
For some reason, it does not work on my machine. I installed 2 different versions of the software and both give me error in the title of this thread immediately. He doesn't have the ability to load up and fail or anything he just lift the error immediately.
for purposes of test and restore my sanity a little I have installed this software on an old laptop running XP and a desktop running xp, after installing the software I opened the first time and on the laptop, I got this same error, however XP let him program continues to work and he opened and held its positions. The Office opened and ran without error.
So my question is why this software is triggering this error when I open it up on top of my vista machine, and how can I work around this problem or solve the problem, so I can use my software.
The error indicates that microsoft will let me know when a solution is available, but that never happens.
Any light you can throw on that would be great.
Try to run the software in Compatibility Mode: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/75909-compatibility-mode.html to see if that helps.
What is the EXACT error message (Word for Word)? What version of Vista you are using? What is the name and version of the software (and the Web site if you have one)?
If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem. Follow the procedures described in the article. Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall. Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.
Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here. A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.
I hope this helps. Please include answers and results in your response if it does not work.
Good luck!

I recently had a serious viral infection on my laptop Windows Vista SP2 Gateway. After you run the antivirus AVG cleaner, who seemed to have had to quarantine or delete some files infected, System I couldn't Boot Windows to the top on this machine - even in the (all flavors of) Safe Mode. When you try to start, I'd get
a Blue Screen of Death with the msg of error in the title of this thread. Before turning off the crash dump, the system indicated:
' * STOP: 0X000000F4 (0 X 00000003 0X85F22848 0X85F22694 0X82A26AB0).
Other messages in the BSOD said I might have new HW causing the BSOD (I did not - but nevertheless I removed all external HW and tried again - got the same result).
So one of the first things I did was to capture the startup log, so I could see what the pilots were hang up / does not. Here's what I found:
(1) the last driver to load (as indicated in ntbtlog.txt) was monitor.sys. My understanding is that this indicates that when this driver loaded, the system crashed at this place - suggesting that there is 'something wrong' with this particular driver. However, it seems likely, that I can use the screen/monitor (built-in) to the laptop without problem.
(2) several drivers do NOT load: they are:
1 NDProxy.sys
2 Kvhfjgcv.sys
3 Kbdhid.sys
4 i8042prt.sys
QUESTION 1: "Monitor.sys" being the last driver to load, should I assume this is the driver the system hung up on (that is, which caused the BSOD)? And if so, that means I should replace this driver? If so, how do I do that (how and where can I get a copy of 'Clean/good' of monitor.sys)?
QUESTION 2: Is it possible to get "good versions" of drivers I listed above which was NOT loaded (I guess they didn't not load because they have been corrupted by the virus or the virus cleaner, or maybe just deleted by the virus cleaner because they were infected) to put into the Windows\System32\Drivers folder? How?
Here are the steps I took to try to fix the "corrupt system". I inserted my Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive and loaded Windows using that.
Once that came, I then tried the following (and here are the results for all that I tried):
(1) I selected the option "Repair", then choose "Microsoft Windows Vista" OS and press "next". He tried to 'attempt to repair' for 15 minutes about, then finally stopped with a message: "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. "Details of problem indicated: (a) the problem event name: StartupRepairV2." Signature 01: ExternalMedia; Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16386.6.0.6001.18000; Signed 03:6; Signature 04:131074. Signature 05: 0xF4; Signature 06: 0xF4; Signature 07:0; Signature 08:2; Signature 09: WrpRepair; Signature 10:5; OS version: 6.0.60090.2.0.0.256.1
(2) I selected the option 'display diagnostic and repair details '. He said that all tests successful (error code = 0 x 0), and
then indicated the 'cause': ' unknown error checking: bugcheck f4, parameters = 0x3, 0x88607b80, 0x88607ccc, 0x82a78ab0. "
- AND -
Repair action: repair and checking the integrity of system files. Result: failed. Error code = 0 x 5
(3) I checked that the restoration of the system, and even though I know I had some Restore Points created at the origin of this system, System Restore has indicated that there was no restore points to go back, (leading me to believe that the virus must have killed)
(4) so I chose the selection "Command Prompt", which opens by default "X:\Sources >". I'm in C: and then typed: "sfc/scannow". The system has responded with the following messages:
"Start system analysis. This process will take time. " follow up 30 seconds later by the message:
"Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation".
MAIN QUESTION: any reflection on what other tools and options I try to repair the windows installation / driver set?
Hello
I suggest you follow the steps below:
Method 1:
Follow the steps in the link and check if the problem persists:

my task manager on windows vista family premium does not show the tabs it used to, when I used to open the Task Manager it would be things like 'process' 'services' 'preformance' ect. in the tabs. but now when I open it it shows just a window that has two columns, one labeled task, and other labeled status. It shows what im running, but there any options at all as the winger treat ect. the window is not even an exit or minimize the icon as other windows are in the upper right. the only way to close it alt f4 do - what I do? Ive already tried to restart the computer, and I'm on the only account to administer it. I have a screenshot of the new manager of task here: http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k621/a_bakedpotato/vistataskmanagerisue.jpg
Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.
You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

When I launch Firefox, I get only the bottom of my browser in the Firefox window. I have the normal window for 1 second, but it changes in the background window only. So, without the toolbar or navigation. I have already reinstalled it, but it does not solve the problem.
Hello jonson00, please follow the troubleshooting steps in Firefox opens with a white or transparent window. If this solves the problem, it would be also interesting including the extension has a problem in your case. Thank you!

Windows 7 Home Premium - "does not work Windows genuine" pop up
My Windows 7 Home Premium has been installed, activated and working perfectly for the past 18 months. I've been on the last few days PF, make popup windows telling me "this computer is not running genuine Windows" (0x8004fe21). This is obviously false because I bought the upgrade directly from Microsoft in November 2011 and it has been fine.
When I click "Pay online now", the Microsoft site runs a quick scan and then points me to a download page of Windows 7 for £75.
I have already tried to get the license key, restart the laptop, launching an update of Windows and reboot again - all to nothing does and I still get seriously irritating popup.
Any ideas why this has suddenly started happening and how to fix it?
Any suggestions gratefully thanks received.
Try to activate Windows 7 by phone, post back with the results.
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone * do not select/press any option * and wait for a person to help you.
6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
(7) the person must give you a confirmation ID, copy it down on paper,
(8) check that the ID is correct in reading the support person.
(9) to enter the ID number, then click 'Next' to complete the activation process.Activation and registration of a Microsoft product

I downloaded the update from the site Web of Protexis Inc., but still the warning returns to every start. What can we do?
Sounds like the program still has problems. Protexis would need to provide an update of the program that doesn't crash. Consider uninstalling the software and reinstall the latest version, or contact the manufacturer of the software for further assistance.

Hello can you tell me if the compression of data on the Q10 and Z10 are similar to data compression on the former as the "BOLD" Blackberry smartphones for example? Thank you very much
