• Cannot "connect as current user" via the Security Server

  I had a problem using the "connect as current user" option against a network outside of the enterprise security server. Connection by manually keying in the name of user and password works very well from the outside the company network For internal connections using a connection to the server instead of security server, everything works as expected without having to manually type the name of user and password.

• View customer Horizon | Unable to login via the Security Server

  Hello people,

  We strive to deploy VMware View 5.3. Everything is complete we are able to access desktop of customer view through connection to the server. But when we try to connect to the desktop via security server, authentication of the user position get us the attached error.

  Can someone please help me to understand and resolve the error?

  When you use a plus 16-character password, Thunderbird fails to connect to the SMTP outgoing/outlook live.

  The problem persists after you turn off my AV, turn off my VPN, from Thunderbird in safe mode and even after the addition of a '1' at the end of my password 16ch.

  It is a limitation imposed my mail server, not Thunderbird. It is not just the Xbox it's all e-mail clients. The major problem is, Microsoft either don't use folk with general IT experience, preferring the Microsoft professionals who really don't know anything else or deliberately do everything except web mail as difficult as possible. • List of items to recover with the vCAC 6.0.1 via the COFFEE server plugin?  Can't seem to do this with vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder

  What I would like to make is the query to the list of issues I see in the record.  If you go in the inventory and select vCloud Automation Center, select your COFFEE server and look in the folder 'Éléments' you will probably see all the same elements, you can interact with in the GUI.  I want to develop scripts that can do things with these elements.  I tried to create a simple query to retrieve all the elements for an individual owner, but I can't understand how do.  If all goes well, he will miss just something very obvious.  I started with the vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder and it seems to be able to target everything except for the list of items.  Is it possible to do this?  I do not see vCO type for these objects is.

  Common.rtf content is perfectly visible in Main.rtf but any configuration execution for 'file location' Main.rtf possible?
  
  Basic requirement is to run in any computer without making any changes to the 'file location' in Main.rtf again and again. Are there property server_url or something like that what can be used in RTFs?

  I administer more than 140 computers mac, with firefox installed. Unfortunately, it seems like a daily appearance when a user calls and says that firefox is updated, listen to which they can't because they are not administrator accounts.
  Now, I use apple remote desktop to turn off auto-updated for many other applications such as software update, microsoft office and adobe. Unfortunately since firefox does not use a standard plist file on mac I can't use default to write preference remotely.
  Question: Is there a way to write to the config of firefox via command line, so I can turn off auto-updated mass instead of having to touch to each computer and do change in the GUI?

  Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify default values.

  That depends entirely on your Web host.

  For example, GoDaddy uses public_html as the root directory for some servers and httpdocs for others. If in doubt, ask your host for verification.

  Your root directory of the server must be part of your site definition. When you download content from the root of your server will exactly match the root of your local content. Public_html should not appear in the root of your local at all (only in your FTP settings) since all you should do is to transfer the contents of one single root to another.

• My DLNA compatible TV takes a long time to detect the DLNA server on Windows 7 computer laptop via wifi

  I have a Panasonic plasma tv and a laptop running Windows 7 x 64.  I had no problem with the TV detect my laptop and watch movies via the DLNA server in wifi, aside from the videos stopping frequently, loss of the connection and reconnect.  Thinking it was a problem with my router, I contacted the manufacturer of the router and received a replacement of the same router.

  Apart from switching on the router, nothing has changed.  However, when I try to go to the DLNA function on the TV, it will appear the message "DLNA server is not found. Finally, anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes later, my computer appears on its own in the list and I can continue to watch the videos as usual.  The connection seems to be more stable than before because he rarely abandons the connection after the replacement of the router, but waiting for my computer appears mystified me.
  Y at - it is a particular setting in my notebook or the router that should be adjusted to solve this problem? As I said before, I reflected quite well the former router settings so I'm really helpless why it takes so long.
  Oh, and I use Windows Media Player stream 12.0.7601.17514 (as I was before).

  I need help to solve a query I have.

  We currently have a vCenter server that manages certain clusters, but also some stand-alone hosts with local storage (not shared). Stand-alone hosts are physically located on remote sites. Some sites have more than one of these stand-alone hosts. We have an obligation to move a VM to a standalone host guest to another independent host on the same remote site.

  As there is no shared storage the VM should be stopped before trying the vMotion.

  The virtual machine in question has a 4 TB thick VMDK accrued that is migrated between the physical host computers.

  I think when the vMotion is launched the data will be limited to the subnet that the two physical hosts are connected and therefore use the bandwidth available via local network equipment and will not let the physical site. My colleague suggested, however, that data travels through the vCenter server. Of course, this would cause a problem to try to move the data so much and would effectively mean that this 4TB would leave travel via the vCenter server, remote site, then return to the remote site. Not only this would be very slow, it could also have a negative impact on bandwidth to and from the site.

  So my question is who is correct? (Assuming that one of us is!)

  When you start migrating cold from a virtual computer by selecting migrate both (host and storage) where your hosts are based in the same place, it will happen with esxi source and target host, it will not go all the way to your host to vCenter.

  If your environment is vSphere client of web use 5.1 or higher, and you can move VM while it is powered on and residing in the local storage of the host. This feature is called Cross-host migration. available only by using the web client.

  PCoIP does not work via the Security server. If you want to use PCoIP over the WAN, you need to connect in a different way, like VPN (SSL). If RDP is also enabled on your pool that view fall back using RDP.

• How to allow the clean-up actions to be taken by a reentrant clone before he is killed, seen through the web server, through a narrow browser?

  Here's a question I'll get lucky with.  I have a VI, set to be reentrant, broadcast via the web server.  The main instance of the VI is never worked with: it's a clone whenever someone accesses the correct URL, and the user interacts with the newly created clone (never the main forum).  A clone is able to configure and calling instrument VI when good IDs are entered, which translates to browser popups that are controllable on the end of the user (even if only one user ever does both. To clarify, many clones can be opened simultaneously for connection purposes, but that a user never interacts with the instruments that are not themselves reentrant).

  If the user clicks on my Logout button in their browser, it is trivial to close these instruments other, independent and properly clean.  But if the user simply click on the red X in their browser, it is non-stop and the instruments that the clone called stay open on the server, when they close.

  My experience so far:

  No close panel? event seems to be triggered in the clone.  The clone simply cease to be.

  The remote_panel_connections property doesn't seem to work properly in this case (I have not had luck so far), since it is possible that more than a clone to be active and that the main parent who is spawning clones stays running, but is not interacted with in some way.

  What I need:

  One way for the clone of VI recognize that the user has closed his browser and communicate that it closes all the assets of VI before ending.

  I would like to avoid forcing the instruments that the clone call to constantly query to see if the VI clone is present on the network.  If there is no other solution, but this, I would appreciate a suggestion as to the intensive way less code and resources to implement this type of interrogation, as the instruments are really designed to be totally independent after they are called, rather than under vi.

  When a VI stops running, any reference as a queue is also cancelled.  You can make use of this fact.  If your original clone VI could launch a second reentrant VI, which remains active, you could channel all communications to the instruments via VI second using a queue created in the first.  When the first VI disappears, it will trigger an error waiting waiting VI in the second (no vote office is involved).  The second VI can take all the necessary measures.

  I put upgraded to Windows 7 Professional computers to Windows XP Professional, but I have a problem with getting one of software programs management of stock that allows us to connect to our SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Windows on new Windows 7 computers.

  Our computers are connected to a domain, and therefore SQL Server. Computers Windows XP allows each user to standard domain to connect and to connect to SQL Server via the stock management software.

  But on the standard domain of Windows 7 Pro computer users unable to connect to SQL Server, but administrator accounts of area on the same Windows 7 Pro computers can connect to SQL Server through the inventory control program.

  I have set up the alias of the server, the server name and port number via the SQL Server Client Network utility ( cliconfg.exe ) so I know this isn't the problem because it works when I'm logged on as a domain administrator.

  There seems to be something to do with permissions of user domain and Windows 7 Pro. There seems to be a change from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro that does not allow standard domain users to connect to a SQL Server. But I can't find anything about and cannot practice how to solve this problem, except to make all users, domain administrators that is obviously not a good thing to do. So basically I think I need to create a group policy that allows users to connect to SQL Server, but I have no experience in doing this and don't know where to start.
