  1. don't you make changes before the show?

  Try the following steps to disable the compatibility mode.
  a. Locate the launch of Dragon NaturallySpeaking file, right-click on it and click Properties.
  b. click on the Compatibility tab.
  c. in compatibility mode, uncheck the box "run this program in compatibility mode for".
  d. click ok to apply the changes.
  e. check if the problem persists.

  I am trying to determine what version of Windows Embedded might be the right one for a particular product. The comparative table of features at https://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/windows-embedded-8.aspx indicates that the Standard edition version does not "Complete Windows compatibility". In the datasheet, I could, unfortunately, not to determine which features of Microsoft compatibility refers to. Does anyone know what restrictions apply?

  I have a dos/Windows 95 master of Orion 2 and really desperate male relative.  Is it possible to install this game on a Windows 7 system?   He repeats to me that there is a mismatch due to 64-bit system.  I used the program in the control panel for trying to install programs designed for earlier versions of windows, but the compatibility program was not able to help me.  I also tried the right click on the Setup icon, select properties and change the compatibility of the system, but also the resolution here, but alas no luck.  Thank you!

  If its a DOS game I would suggest using DOSBox.  It's a bit complicated so I won't have a full run down here.  But assuming that this male relative has used BACK before he shouldn't have any problems.

  If it is a real 16-bit Windows application.  Then you could use a Virtual Machine, assuming that your CPU supports the required technology (many do not) and installs an earlier version of Windows on them.  Unless you use the professional version of Windows 7.  Then you can download 'XP Mode' which is a virtual machine that comes with a copy of Windows XP.

  A failure there is a Master of Orion 3 released a few years ago, I'm not on top of my head, if its compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.  But there are also the Sins of a Solar Empire, which is compatible, is a little different, because his real time, but his little near the same concept. :-) Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience...   Once I was able to downloadand patch and then run the compatibility problem solver in the programs control panel

  I was able to get the game running in Windows 7 and Vista.

  Vista I deleted the shortcut on the desktop, as I had it already installed before finding the compatibility issue.  When I installed Windows 7 I chose not to install the shortcut - according to a thread I had followed.

  I have a 6910p 32 bit hp laptop upated with windows 8 pro. I have a hp scanjet 5500c scanner. There is no update for windows 8 drivers on the hp Web site. All my other devices I've used XP work fine. I tried to load the software provided with the scanner in XP compatibility mode nothing works. Is it possible that I can get this scanner to work on this computer?

  I just bought a new Dell laptop and updated to Windows 10.
  Unfortunally, my OS is unable to recognize the driver for my old printer Dell Photo All in One 964.
  I have read all the post on compatible with this specific printer driver. I tested the procedure:

  -remove the printer

  -install the driver Windows Vista - 32 bit or 64 bit and put Vista SP2 compatibility mode (also compatibility mode with Windows 7 and windows 8)

  -Connect the usb printer. But only the Scan is installed successfully.

  I installed the driver R146813 and it worked very well, for scanning and printing.

  Sure to first temporarily disable your anti-virus firewall before running the Setup.exe that comes with this driver. Complete the configuration all the way, including the print test page. Turn the firewall again later.

  I don't know if Win10 allows this, but a solution USED to dual-boot, which is what I did on my old computer with Windows XP for a specific program and Win7 for everything... the restart was a little complicated, but for this computer, I had to have that one program every month or two, and he would not go on Win7
