11.1.1.3 - planning manually remove a classic Application

Hello

We are caught between the hammer and the anvil. We have a corrupt Classic application and need to remove it as we need to deploy a new application of EPMA using the same name and the data source. We use an Oracle database, the storage space for this application so it is own tablespace. However, in my view, there are other tables that need to be changed in order to manually remove a classic planning app anyone have steps to properly remove a classic application of planning in 11.1.1.3?

Thank you

Remove the shared services application.
Remove the essbase app (using the Regional service)
Go to the planning of the tables relational system

Table HSPSYS_APPLICATION, delete the line relating to the planning application, note the app_id.
Table HSPSYS_APP_CLUSTER_DTL, delete the line with the id that you noted right down (a record can exist not so just, skip this step)
Table HSPSYS_PROPERTIES, delete records with the id that you noted down.
Table HSPSYS_DATASOURCES, app_id-1 update to the data source that you use for planning about (if you do not use the datasource once again simply remove the folder)

Restart planning.
Drop/recreate the schema for the planning application, it's so the schema can be used again when you re-create the application.
Start again.

See you soon

  • Need help to manually remove the malware module: extenstions list gophotoit.

I tried to install a media player, the other day and it was crap and I started to feel little specific about this, so I uninstalled completely from my computer. But when returning to firefox, as I noticed that three new extensions have been added. I disabled all three, but one had the option to remove it. The other two are still in my Add-ons Manager. They are not enabled, causing so not a problem (I hope), but I would like to remove them. (GoPhotoIt is the main I've read all over the internet). I tried to follow the instruction manual to uninstall, but there is no file in the extensions folder that corresponds to the IDkeys in the Panel "of troubleshooting information. (The same extenstions were on Chrome, but it was very easy to trash all three for some reason any FF is not making it easy). (Notice: no option 'Remove': http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v55/xaraan/ScreenShot2013-02-24at102511AM_zps325da890.png)

    OK, NOW I GET IT!

First, you will need to follow the manual removal instructions, but when you go to the library, don't just go to the Firefox folder and check and remove, but also the Mozilla folder (extensions folder to that) and delete the files. Then you can do the deletion of SQL that I listed above and they seem to have disappeared now, even after restarting the browser several times.

  • Manually remove the iOS App files in the folder "Mobile Applications" on a Mac.

In my eagerness, trying to save valuable disk space, I deleted all the files (40 GB) in the mobile apps on my mac. This folder has accumulated over 900 files app over the years. I am currently using only 160 apps on my iPhone. I deleted all the files (and emptied the Recycle Bin). After having to remove it, I was unable to download, only the applications that I use currently on the phone (160 of them), in my iTunes again (from the app store in iTunes). This is because iTunes App store thinks that I have already downloaded these applications; where I have deleted just manually in the Mobile Applications folder.

After reading on the web that it is a mistake, I got cold feet and began a restoration of my time Machine to all 900 app files back.

I started the process of restoring time Machine is because the thinning app is NOT allowing me to transfer my iTunes on mac purchases. I first thought I can "put" just the 160 apps from my phone, Mobile Applications to iTunes folder. Now, I realize that I can do is not "transfer purchases". I am on iOS 9.2.1 (6s iPhone Plus) and OS X El Captain (10.11.3) (Macbook Air).

Moreover, I have a PDF file with a list of all the files in the Mobile Applications (900 application files) folder. I did it using an application called Print window. So I did not have a detailed list of all the files (apps) that I never downloaded. This is so that I can download the Apps on my iPhone directly (from the cloud) in case I need an app on my phone, in the future

Critical how's this for keep the files in the folder of Mobile Applications on my Mac? In which case I have to restore my iPhone, applications will only download from the Cloud? If the answer is Yes to this question, I can go ahead and delete all the files in the folder of Mobile Applications manually to recover a good amount of disk space?

I hope I'm clear in my question and description.

    Thank you!

You have more need to keep a local copy of the apps. Any application that you do not have at the time of a restoration is downloaded from the cloud provided that it is always available. You can view your list of 160 apps for everything you'd be really sad to lose and keep a copy of those. You don't necessarily need in the library. As long as you have the file .ipa somewhere you can add new in your library at a later date.
