11.1.2 HTML hierarchy Viewer, how?

Hello

first of all, 11.1.2 is great job Oracle, Bravo! It actually opens new possibilities for the ADF.

That said, I do not understand how to return the Viewer to the hierarchy in html? The documentation states:
"By default, the component hierarchy viewer renders in a Flash Player. When Flash 10 or later is not available on the client or in the purpose or printing, the hierarchy Viewer is rendered in HTML. »

I have disabled flash and all I get is a note that I should install it. What Miss me? Thank you.

Hi Jeremy,.

HV of HTML is available in 11.1.2.
You can configure the use of Flash content across the entire application by setting a context parameter of flash-player-use in adf - config.Xml.
Please read this section in the doc:
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E16162_01/Web.1112/e16181/ap_config.htm#BHCHJICG

You can use the parameter "disabled" or "downgrade" in a browser that does not have Flash player installed to see the HTML HV. It is also used for the printable page mode.

Hope this helps

  • Second level of hierarchy Viewer is not get displayed with bind variable

    Hello
    I use jdev 11.1.1.5.0

    I have 3 queries. VO1, vo2 vo3 n.

    created two links between vo1 - vo2 and vo2 vo3

I create a page and dragged the data control vo1 and dropped as a viewer of hierarchy.

When I ran the page, the component Viewer hierarchy showing accurate data in three levels.

now, I have changed little vo2 littile query and added a bindvairable in the query only.

before going to the component hierarchy Viewer appears on the page, I will execute execute with params of vo2 and passing the value of the variable bean (ex: #{mybean.parameter1}) to the variable binding of vo2.

its fine workmanship, but the second level and third survey is not listed in the hierarchyviewer. only first level shows up.

If I pass the value of the variable binding in the single vo2(view object.xml), then the second and third levels get copied.

How can I pass the value of the variable binding vo2 managed bean?

should I do any changes in show them links?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  • Hierarchy Viewer - settings

I created a hierarchy Viewer to present the family relationship, as the family tree, and I can watch with all the parameters at first, but after that it shows me only one node, instead of the tree of all, Parent - profile search - Childs.

How can I find the viewer of the hierarchy with the same configurations used for the first time?

    I use jdev 11.1.1.7.1

    Thanks in advance

I managed to solve the problem, I had to add the same fragmentwhere that I wanted to see the information twice in the stream header and I select the option to display a profile each time I present to you with same departure (header and details) flow. This way the user as always for the menu who wants to see and the hierarchy Viewer, what it still load with the settings I selected.

2 methods. Since you mentioned at 90 degrees, I'll start with this first...

    1. right click on an open office space... Graphic options... Rotation... click 90 degrees.

    2. press on Ctrl + Alt keys together and HOLD... While holding down, use the arrow keys to realign the screen position.

  • HTML Help Viewer is not installed.

The HTML Help Viewer works fine under XP, but when I port software on Vista, I get the message "MS HTML HELP is not installed on this computer". It is a DELL laptop provided.

Other research indicates that the problem with Vista is the result of the use of a shell inherited from the old WinHelp to display HTML Help.

It seems that you can use shell inherited, you will need to make the direct call to HTMLHelp.

For programmers in Delphi, although somewhat outdated (but still useful) is "Delphi programming for the HTML Help API," Robert Chandler, which is available on the internet.

The obsolete part refers to hang the old shell inherited, which is unnecessary now. You must call the HTMLHelp function now directly (using the Windows unit) every time you need display help.

  • Hierarchy Viewer mouse over a missing

    I use jdev11.1.1.9.

I tried the component hierarchy Viewer. I don't see the problem described below:

«"At run time, when a user moves the mouse over a node of any level of zoom, a window hover display the contents of node at the 100% zoom level is displayed automatically, allowing the user to see information complete regardless of zoom level.

In the old version of jdev as 11.1.1.6, it works.

Someone knows why he went? or I missed something?

Your showDetailItem should have the property stretchChildren set to true.

Otherwise the tab does not stretch its content.

  • Hierarchy Viewer - restarting the flash player

    Hello

I created a hierarchy Viewer to see the connections between customers and when I run the application, the first time I see the hierarchy Viewer, I can see it correctly, as

    Parent

    Customer (wanted)

    Child

    Child

but when I want to see another customer hierarchy I only see the Parent. I expand the tree to view the client sought and, if he has, the childs.

Is anyway to, let say, restart Flash player so as it does initially, it presents the tree?

  • Hierarchy Viewer does not get updates

I have a hierarchy Viewer in my application. Say that it is a tree of the hierarchy of the employee-Manager. I perform operations Add, Remove-employee, employee-Move on this hierarchy Viewer. Its operation is, say I want to perform the delete operation, I select the node in the hierarchy Viewer, click the button remove on top and it performs the delete operation and the hierarchy Viewer partialUpdate. It happens after have delete/move/add, hierarchy Viewer always displays the old data, that is, even if I delete the node, it always appears when I update the viewer of the hierarchy (hv).

I also made clearCache() hv and VO that I use. I even tried to re - run the query, but has not helped. ADF does any kind of caching? If so, what should I do to find new data updated?

    PS: I use 11g

    Hello

I think that the cache of the VO is not updated with changes in DB. For this reason, the user interface component shows the lines of old.

To synchronize the VO with DB cache after validation, follow these steps:

    1. in the model layer, open the request module assigned to the VO.

    2. Select the tab 'source' from the application module.

3 inside of the tag "AppModule", add the following attribute:

    ClearCacheOnCommit = 'true '.

  • Problem with component hierarchy Viewer

When I used the hierarchy Viewer on a page (which does not include the model) it works fine.
But when I used the same with the page template, it does not work.
Need help immediately. Grappling with this issue. Monday entered into service
    Please help me :(

I don't know what is you the real problem, but I tested the viewer of the hierarchy in a workflow and could put it on a different page than the region without problem.

    Have you tested this?

Did you put the viewer in the hierarchy of the workflow on a page as a region? You then see the hierarchy?

  • Hierarchy Viewer - card only on the nodes

    I use the 11.1.2.3.0 version.

Is there a way to show a map on end-nodes of the hierarchy Viewer?

I have information that applies only to nodes on the bottom of the tree.

    Thanks in advance.

    This should be possible.
I have not tested this, but you can use the property made the panelCard element and set to an EL that has the false value is the node has children (node.hasChildren? or other data that allows you to know if you want to display the map).
If it does not sheet you made of the property and use the property visible or melting of the component that holds the information you want to only display in the terminal nodes.

  • Lazy loading of JDev 11.1.2.3.0 and ADF hierarchy Viewer?

    Hello

I have a simple application that displays data from a table by using the component hierarchy Viewer.

My table has more than 100,000 lines.

It seems that the control tries to query all the data at once and never loads.

I reduced the number of lines to 5K and it works.

So, is it possible that I can configure the order/application to retrieve only the data of the database for a particular node when a node is expanded?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Support for HTML Help Viewer toolbar

When I open any chm file in the MS HTML Help Viewer, I have a toolbar at the top of the page. One of the options in the toolbar's 'Options' that has a drop-down list. Most of the items in the drop-down list does not seem to be supported, such as 'Home', 'Stop', 'Update', etc., I don't know yet what it means in the context of the online help. Is this just an artifact of the HTML Help Viewer, or is there something I need to do in the definition of the project or in the generation of the chm file?

    Bob Boller

Well well, thanks to some research on Google, I now have the answer. The following works: "ms-its:path\MyFile.chm::/path/MyTopic.htm." Here, magic is the prefix "ms - its '. I didn't spend enough time in the research to find out exactly what it is, but apparently it has something to do with security.

  • How to switch to the default library of a HTML link view

    Hello

I created a HTML content to a new tab in the navigation options.

I created buttons (link) in the HTML files and I'd like to link to the library view (no HTML).

I used what was stated in the manual and the information related to this issue:

    Goto://ApplicationViewState/library

    But it does not work.

I saw all the other discussions when it is appropriate to use the API of DPS

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1484170

But it is not useful because I do not understand how to integrate it in HTML.

Could someone tell what is the code needed to add the link in html to display the library?

It is necessary to link the API in HTML code?

    Thank you

    Andrea

A workaround is to create a link using the custom URL schema. For example, if I create a hyperlink to "com.bringhurst.dpstips://" listen to this link will launch the library DPS tips on iOS devices.

  • Hide the "open child node" hierarchy Viewer

How to hide the button ' Show/hide' If node has no child nodes,

    similar to the example:

Hierarchy - Structure of custom node and node comparison demo Viewer

    Thank you

You do not check it to a bean. The hierarchy is eradicated, so check this is a method of bean would not help that the check is at the end.

Checkbox in the node itself. The hierarchy works on a model which is to build nodes. Each node must know itself and if there are children. Depending on your model, you implement a method in the node class, which returns true if there are children, and false otherwise. The method is named hasChildren() in the example from my previous post.
