• Planning Web Form (mode Non - FAD) member selector Drop Down Format

  Looking to see if there was a solution to a question that I ask myself.

  We are developing a planning system using several web forms. We recently put out ADF mode to see if that helps with stability problems we had. We've had some success with her, but our user base didn't like that the bottom of drop of Member in the POV selector became limited to only about 10 members. Also, rather than using a scroll bar to browse the available members, there are arrows on the bottom of the drop-down list that require the user to 'page' in the list of available members.

  I discovered that you can view the drop as a much larger list and using the scroll bar if you hold the button of the mouse on the drop down arrow POV, then operate the cursor on the bar in the drop-down list and scroll ther carefully, but we would much prefer to have the default of downs drop to this format.

  Is there a way to do this?

  Yes, there is an application setting. In the application-> Settings, then Current default Application and display settings, in the options page so a parameter called "allow to search when number of Pages exceeds" and then you can specify the selection of the page returns with a shortlist and a search feature or the ability to complete scroll. The value of the number larger than the number of members in the dimension on the page of the form

• Empty drop down list - planning - Web Forms - Dimensions in the axis of the Page

  The drop-down menu that appears when you click on one of the dimension in the axis of the web forms page appears empty. The problem is unique to the single dimension when used with Alias Web form that a single application a plan type and a single instance. The special dimension has more than 1,500 members of level zero and has a seven-digit code and description of words 2 to 5 in the alias.

  I tried to rebuild the shape / LCM for instance different but nothing has worked. I think that this could be attributed to the problem in the JavaScript for menu drop-down. But I have no knowledge on javascripts so abstained.

  Finally with the help of the Oracle, I found the problem. The problem was some control characters in the names of aliases which are not visible in the user interface. Somehow these characters in the name of the alias has been added during the transfer files on the remote server or the load control metadata.

  changed ODI reloaded code execution on the target data store, metadata, and the problem is solved.

  I have created a web form the catalyst company. Created the role of the user, add a workflow to the form to send e-mail to this role. However, when users submit a form, it always come in e-mail notification from me!  It has my name and my e-mail as it comes! How can I get the notification mail (not email autoresponder) to come from the person sending the form?

  This isn't how workflows, they are set to be notifications by mail electronic system, they are not one of a person who has filled out a form.

• Planning Web form

  Hi all
  I currently have a problem with a web form, the user has requested that some accounts have read and others to have write access. I've set up the security accordingly. 3 Lev0 accounts always have write even took me to a read access for all groups. I refreshed security, checked security, verified that none of its parent has write access to all of its descendants.
  
  Here are the Member properties, it may be useful to help me.
  
  Type of account: saved assumption
  Variance statement: Non-charges
  Time to balance: balance
  Skip: no
  Type of exchange rate: NoRate
  Data storage: never share
  Data type: no monetary

  I have a web form where in I have all accounts percentage. When I type in the value 0.02 it takes the value as 2%. Is it possible to change the setting in which I can directly type the values of percentage as 2%?

  You have defined the order of evaluation, the Administration > Dimensions > evaluation order > move the dimension through the window on the right.

  In the form, you should be able to type 12% and move away from the cell, then it should display 12%

  I have accounts that are calculated in calc scripts not in outline. How to show these accounts in a Web planning form and do not access entry to these? Thank you

  In the form design, click Add line, select the account, then do this read-only segment in the line properties, click Add a row if you want more accounts.

• Planning Web Forms do not connect not not the Essbase

  When the user tries to connect to Webforms, below error. Same problem occurred yesterday, I restarted the Essbase server and it solved the problem.
  
  A variable substitution required for this calculation is not defined. Variable: CurYr
  
  Today, I recycled all of the services, but still not able to connect to Essbase through planning. And I am also unable to connect to the server through the service Console Regional Essbase, I'm through with this id, but when clicking on the Essbase server node, it throw error like "Invalid Login Credentials. I use the same id of user for planning and Essbase, planning works well but not for Essbase
  
  Can you please indicate on this issue.

• Cannot export Web Forms

  I am trying to export planning Web Forms about Hyperion Planning is installed on Linux. I'm trying to run the command is:
  
  FormDefUtil export - servername all the username password app_name
  
  I'm trying this from the same directory where the util: Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/Planning/planning of the depenses1
  
  
  When I run it I get this error: * ""-bash: FormDefUtil: command not found "*"
  
  Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

  re confirm that ultiliy is present at this location.

  FormDefUtil export - servername all the username password app_name

  Try:
  FormDefUtil export - all servername username app_name
  then it will ask the password to it self.

• Planning of Web form read-only

  We have recently upgraded to 11.1.2.2.

  I test Web Forms using test user. I have given everyone access the dimension in the webform.given a write access to Webform.Still for the data form entire user test is read-only.

  as an admin if I check, I can write in the form.

  I gave exclusive access to the user by putting in place of the user groups, always the same question all cella are read-only

  There is an additional role that I give to the user outside Planner to enter data.

  Help, please

  If the admin user can see the data on the form and a user cannot then it's generally down to permissions on the members are not defined properly, you can also check Hyperion Planning and much more...: why my form data is always read-only...!

• Planning of non-visible web forms more via the workspace

  All of a sudden, users (or admins) cannot display web forms in the left panel, to access planning through the workspace.
  What happens in IE7...
  Nothing has changed in our system recently. It's that everything works fine up until a few days back.

  I don't know there is a javascript error is produced, usually in the lower left corner if IE.
  Although saying that it provides probably not the cause of the issue.

• Slow opening of web form of planning

  Hi all

  I have a web form which consist of 12 dimensions and shapes, I talked about the stored data members. These stored data are members of level zero in the hierarchy and the form opens fine. When I moved this data member of level 0 to level five, the form takes longer to open.

  Problem: After changing a position of the Member from level 0 to level five, it takes more time to open the form. Still, he is a member of stored data and the IDescendants have a lot of members dynamic calc.

  Could someone explain to me why it takes more time being a member of stored data. Thanks in advance.

  If there are many members dynamic calc or member based on the dynamic Calc so maybe it takes much time to calculate them who is originally from slowing performance.
