11 - d020nr flow: flow HP 11 won't charge or power on

Last night I was faced with a member of the family on an 11 flow HP I bought for them to turn on/off do not. They explained that they had opened the lid and press the power button as usual. However, nothing has shown up on the screen, so they assumed that the cell phone was dead and went to load it. The laptop still nothing shown on the display.

This is the point where they came to me looking for a solution and I noticed the light on the power button symbol flashes. I press a few keys, waiting to see no sign of life, but there was none that came. I found myself holding down the power button to the hard stop the machine and it goes off. I proceed then click on the button, nothing happens. I told them to keep charge the device and I would mess with it today, I just assumed it was a battery problem.

Today the laptop still is not to start at all. I noticed that when it is plugged in, the charging light - a point right next to the rope of entry - is not yet lit. This light comes on not just what socket I plug the charge adapter. For this reason, I suspect that the question can be worse and may be a motherboard problem, but I have no way to find an answer or response. I conducted Google search to find solutions to my problem, that a single forum post I found, and it was to hold power for 8 seconds and see if he could start later. This solution does not work. I hope that by posting here on the forums of HP, I'll get some quick tips on how I can go about this issue and if necessary, send the computer to get it repaired.

This computer was purchased in November 2014 and has been kept at the factory settings, i.e. no UEFI, or operating system changes. Running the operating system is Windows 8.1 with Bing. No peripherals, or updated drivers has been done previously that up to now, I'm afraid.

Thank you for your time in reading and assistance.

Hi @RyanNeedsHelp

Thank you for your response.

Because you excluded the adapter as the cause, it could be the port on the laptop.

Please contact HP support for help with this.  The link is in my previous post.

Have a great weekend!

  • My laptop is plugged in, but the battery won't charge

    Hello

In the last two months, capability of my laptop to charge its battery has degraded.
She went to a battery completely (100%), not being able to load beyond 98% and then 66% and 30%, and now finally, it says "0% availability (plugged in, charge)", but it never increases support.

Thus, the laptop works when plugged into the charger, but does not illuminate when it is attached only on the battery.

I rebooted the computer several times - first to stop the machine, then unplug it, remove the battery, press and hold the Start button for a minute, then put the battery back, plug the charger in and rebooting the machine.

I installed updates for "Stacks" (IE. Microsoft AC adapter, compatible ACPI Microsoft control method battery and battery Composite Microsoft) in Device Manager.
I also uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI complaint method stack and shutdown and restarted the laptop several times.

Earlier I called Toshiba support and update the BIOS of 1.50 to 1.70, then restarted the computer, but yet again, the battery won't charge.

I bought a new battery, which showed that it was fully charged when when I have attached to my laptop, but when exhausted 0% load, I got the same message as for the other battery: "0% availability (plugged in, load).

I am really puzzled. If not, how can I try to increase the capacity of my laptop battery?

In my opinion, old battery was certainly defective.
Is your new original battery, Toshiba battery or any part of third-party product?

  • Satellite A30 PSA30E - battery won't charge

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite A30 laptop ((n° de pièce = PSA30E-00E5-FR) and recently when plugged in, the battery is not, in fact he tell Chargers.) When the laptop is turned off, if you plug the battery icon orange lights and charges of battery, but when you start the laptop to halfway through start orange icon battery turns off and the battery won't charge. If you start the laptop just using the battery once it is in place and ongoing enforcement if you plug the nothing happening for example the battery charge orange icon does not illuminate.

The power is always on the laptop the screen stays on its setting of intensity, but the laptop turns off when the battery runs down to 0%.
I removed the battery and tried power the laptop just using the power grid, but the laptop does not turn on.

    Any ideas what wrong?

If it is the battery which batteries would be compatible with my laptop to replace and how do 2nd hand/battery cost these days for my laptop?

My battery model number = PA3250U-1BRS
    K000002280

I found a battery on a site that resembles a Toshiba Satellite A35 (don't remember if it's A30 or Pro A30) - looking at the Toshiba Satellite A35, it's the same as my Toshiba Satellite A30 it would be compatible?

    Thanks for your time...

    Hello

Eventually it s a battery but problem is just a suggestion.
I do not recommend buying a second hand battery because second hand battery will discharge a lot faster.
In my opinion, you should buy a new one.

I googled a little bit for PA3250U-1BRS and found a few deals online, it seems that you can get it for 50-60 euros

    Regarding the battery A35.
I think that it should be compatible with your laptop. The A35 is a Toshiba US series (A30 is the European model) and it of very similar to A30.

Since you mentioned with the right replacement it is not yet getting started and saw that this is a DV6xxxx if my memory serves me right, these units had a GPU failure rate that would be more or less lead a cell phone dead. And you only choice at the moment is to repair defective GPU or new Board fixed GPU problem or the most recent purchase of a laptop that does not have those defective GPU that has been on these boards.

    Hello

Don't forget to turn off the computer - remove the a/c power - then remove the battery
and check to see if any corrosion on the contacts. If so try to clean
with a pencil eraser. Check with Dell Support and Forums for methods more.

Check with Support from Dell, their online documentation, diagnostics, drivers, and ask
Dell forums about known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates

  • iPhone won't charge after using a mini fan

My sister bought this mini fan $ 1 that plugs into the port of loading of your iPhone and the fan uses the iPhone's battery to do the fan moving.  Today I plugged my iPhone with the fan and the fan started spinning and then all of a sudden it just stopped, my sister was in the room and said "Oh that happened when I used it and now my phone won't load" so I went and tried to plug it into a wall charger and it would not load the only way that load right now is in having plugged into the computer.  Can someone please help me and try to understand this?

You should get the phone reviewed by Apple or an Apple authorized Service provider near your place. It is perhaps a problem with your docking port, maybe some pins were damaged by the plug of your fan.

  • Battery won't charge on 9.3.2

Simply put the 9.3.2 new update has a bug that does not allow the phone to load. my phone was charging fine before the update, and after it restarted the battery starts to die even if it was plugged. I tried several Chargers Apple and competitors. I tried charg of the computer laptop-no chance. The only way I can charge my phone is via the cigerette lighter. So I use the same cord so that the rules on the cord. It is not my current household. This is the port on the phone. It's the * software. Therefore, these brilliant Apple engineers to meet their brains to rewrite the software that has been affected. This is why many people think that their battery is dying quickly. Because it does not charge in the first place!

My four iOS devices, two phones, two iPads, are of course pay 9.3.2 as are millions of others. Something went wrong with your update. Try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

  • iPad2 IOS 9 update... battery won't charge!

    Hello

I have a nice iPad 2 that I use every day.  I am a retired hardware/software engineer.  My iPad still costs to 100% and lasts all day and so for the past 2 years.  Last night I updated to IOS 9 and when you are finished touch was noisy on the left edge of the screen and the display went a little irrattic.  I fixed to the my PowerBook and saved.  I then reset and everyhing seemed normal.  This morning, he showed a low percentage of charge after being on the charger overnight.  He went to a couple of bars and stop.  It detects the charger when I plug, but it will not charge the battery.  I tried three well-known cables and two chargers as well as the USB Port of my PowerBook.

What do you think I should do?  Nothing you can say will make be believe it is not related to the IOS 9 update and if there is a path to the regression, please give me a hint.  I can't understand why he refused also to run as a unit while it is powered via the USB Port on the PowerBook.  I think I created a cutting board very expensive by the update of IOS.  US Government claims my lifestyle on social security not commit higher expenses this year so I won't be able to afford another iPad 2 for some time.  What would Steve?

    Sincerely,

If an iPhone won't load, I suspect the battery to go bad, or bad. You can contact the Apple support and they can diagnose the battery, or you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar in the Apple store nearest, or service provider authorized Apple to have the studied unit.
