  I'm sorry for this stupid question.

  We have a small office WLAN and several smaller remote sites. Has already four APs on the main site and trying to place one at each remote sites using REAP H. just trying to save money without having to upgrade our controller

  I know the doc of general Cisco said that the 2106 support only a maximum of six LWAPP APs. But lately in an another doc comparing different product, it says eight access points can be supported.

  Yet in an another doc, it mentions no limit on the number of APs HREAP on a site. I wonder if that means say limit the H-Reap is not counted.

  So I just want to clarify the true maximum number of APs my 2106 controller support, including: REAP APs.

  This is not a stupid question at all! REAP H is one of the most confusing concepts of lightweight design, especially if you have been long enough to see all the evolutions of the design H-REAP. :/

  H REAP access points maintain connections to a controller this controller is available. If the number of H-Reap you have will be reducing the number of access point that you can control your controller.

  There in fact is no longer a limit to the number H-Reap, you can deploy by controller, so your max is the maximum of the controller. A 2106, you can support 6 access points, H-HARVEST or otherwise. I don't know why this doc says 8, it is certainly six :D

  For many years - members of our family were Non-Apple, "PC users. 2 of us bought iPads. Read us carefully, which seemed to be legal briefs explaining specific Apple buys. Seems to my family, no, w/o peripheral non-Apple, can't do much, only with these iPads. Would appreciate answers polite, helpful, non-judgmental ppl who feel, if we don't have an in-depth knowledge of Apple, they are NOT intellectually challenge. Thank you

  An iTunes subscription game is one by AppleID, not shared.  There is a similar feature which operates as part of a subscription to Apple's music for which there is a family subscription option.

  Cisco always does support bridge APs. As long range once, I know that all the APs can be set to be a bridge, but what about the beach, it is a few meters.

  Not interested in since speed mesh deployments can also be a disappointment on this type of especially large deployment.

• VTP (revision numbers) and a client not getting updates

  Hello.

  I screwed up somewhere along the line one of our switches (3750 x). Once they have been set up at last about 6 months ago we have never touched them again.

  I noticed yesterday when I created a new vlan was not get populated at one of our switches. For some reason, I didn't notice that the domain name on the switch are not updates was not our area.

  So I switched the domain on this switch for the appropriate field and he still shows no updates and also has a revision # 7.

  So now this switch I then unplugged all the ports in the trunk and not "transparent" vtp mode Then, I turned it to "vtp client mode vlan.
  He has always shown the revision 7.

  So I tried 'false vtp domain' and 'transparent vtp mode' and then 'vtp domain mydomain' and ' vtp client mode vlan.
  He has always shown the revision 7.

  I am at a loss on how to solve this problem, other than the reconstruction of the switch.   Just to clarify the current VTP server running version 3 and is currently promoted a primary vtp?

  All other customers, even one who does not get the DB synchronized are vtp running all 3?

• Rings of color on 1131 is not appear blue when the associated devices

  I have a few 1131 that host SSID wireless, and most work in accordance with the documentation, which means that the color ring is green light when it is waiting for a connection and blue turns once an association is going. We seem to have discovered two AP that begin to light green, and when an association happens they turn dark green instead of blue?

  Please tell me that someone has seen this before. We have also upgraded to the latest version of the firmware on the devices in question and see the same result. I thought I would wager a guess as to what could be the problem but I'm probably wrong. Maybe the filaments that make the blue color are damaged?  Pretty crazy, but let me know if you have seen this before.

  1131 aPs that do not show the color rings appropriate when users are associated are considered as having a hardware failure and need to be replaced. Replace the units with defective color rings.

• Several points of access Cisco Aironet 1131AG and same SSID?

  We have several Cisco Aironet 1131AG, all wired devices on a switch (2560) Cisco L2 which is connected to the L3 switch (3550). We have assigned a VLAN for access point to the L3 switch which acts as a vtp Server (L2 switch is vtp client). All the ap will have a static ip address and all will have the same SSID and no security, and they will use several channels (e.g. 1,6,11).  They will work in 3 floors for a roaming wireless client. We not using any wireless controller.

  So my question is this: how to configure the same APs-all with a different ip address, can we use L3 switch to create the dhcp server to access points VLAN (pool for guests) and the rest of the static ip address for the ap? One of the ap can be WDS and on the same radius server local time with users without Cisco Secure ACS or similar controller or I did not understand this very well :-). I followed the guide http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/12.3_2_JA/configuration/guide/s32roamg.html for WDS where Abu Cisco ACS part is a problem, so I can use the same ap as a Local authenticator as a guide http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/12.3_4_JA/configuration/guide/s34local.html#wp1035723.

  Well, just so you know, WDS, and local RADIUS authentication is necessary only if you use authentication on your wireless connection.  You say that you do not plan to use security, so it's not necessary.  However, I highly recommend at least using a simple WPA2-PSK to lock your connection, otherwise you might end up giving free Internet access at best and at worst you could give access to the computers and corporate servers.  If you want to reuse a 802. 1 x or WPA authentication method, then Yes, you can use an AP as RADIUS and to improve WDS Server authenticated to roaming, but this is much more limited than the use of a Cisco ACS.

  As for your other questions, Yes, your APs can all be configured the same except for at least three settings: IP address, hostname, and channel.  Configure your static IP addresses on the interface of the PA BVI1.  Do not place it on the Radio or Ethernet interfaces, because if one of these interfaces goes down, you lose the ability to configure the AP, so it's best to use the BVI1 interface.

  And Yes, configure a DHCP scope for your customers on your L3 switch is good design, or you can also use your DHCP server on a different subnet by using the command of support-ip address on the interface of L3.  I hope this helps!  Let me know if you need help to set all this up.

How the family sharing is set up, all purchases are made with the credit card provided by the Organizer. The exception is that if a member has a credit on his iTunes, usually by a gift card account, then purchases will come from this credit until the credit card of the Organizer is responsible. Thus, in the case of your son, he could buy gift cards and add them to their account before shopping. In this way, the Organizer will not be charged.

  As you found, family sharing requires a Mac or an iOS device to start with. You can read this information on the use and configuration of the sharing of the family. Implement the family share - Apple Support  You can't use it on the Windows computer until it is configured on an iOS or Mac device.
