12 July Acrobat Pro 2015 update number

After letting Acrobat do the last update (July 12, 2016), I can no longer edit the properties of text in a text box.  CTRL-E will jump to the top of the properties toolbar (IF you do before you try to change the text), but when you highlight the text you want to change, none of the properties for the text is active (the Properties Bar Properties, but any change/drop down are unavailable/ignored.)   Someone at - it else run into this again?

Y at - it a good way to remove the last patch, because it REALLY makes things difficult for the way in which we use the program.    I tried to 'fix' the installation, removal and reinstallation of the installation, restart, deleting the workspace updated, etc. without success so I think that a mistake or a feature was introduced in this latest patch.   It is on a Win 10 system with the latest updates applied.   Everything worked OK before the Acrobat patch.   I can get back to an image backup if necessary but wondered if there was an easy way to return to a patch update to Adobe.

We have released an update today which solves the problem of the properties toolbar and now you can continue to use it outside of the app commenting as well. Please open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit help > check for updates to ensure that you are on the latest patch.

  • Serial number incorrect - Acrobat Pro - known good number

    I reinstall Acrobat Pro XI on a machine to try and fix a mistake apparently happened after a recent update of Adobe.

    (Error was: there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader.)  If this is the case, please exit and try again (4:4)) - opening links in IE 11.  Off mode protected at startup, has caused an error in 1:104)

    We get "incorrect serial number.  Is not a valid serial number"message.

    The SN is our well known Enterprise license one of our VAR. very reliable, we bought it installs on other machines.


    Impossible to select the option to select evaluation mode (program crashes).

    When I try to install Adobe Reader (as an alternative), I get "Error 1719.  "The Windows Service Installer could not not accessible."

    Other MSI files seem to work correctly.  Exe files install correctly (I was able to install the reader app a competitor temporarily).  Windows install Service is up.

    Machine: Windows 7 SP1 new build

    This repeats after:

    * Cleaner program adobe
    * System restore

    * Re-enrollment MSIEXEC

    * SFC/scannow

    * Installation of the Admin vs. Non Admin account

    Could someone please advise?  I checked for Windows Update 3139923 is not installed on the machine.   Is there a lack of fix for Windows or something else, do we do on the side of the system?

    The problem has been resolved.  For those who run similar in the future after checking their SNs out, here is what happened.

    * Removed Microsoft patch KB3139923

    (KB 2918614 has also been named as problematic for Windows Installer, but this machine had not

    * Updated windows full of other 'old' patches (this was a new installation and had not much on it besides SP1... partly us because we deployed a new WSUS server recently and 'old' stuff was not yet approved)

    * Reset

    * Next attempt to install with Acropro.msi launched an error message about "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable 64 x will not be installed.

    * Download and install this redistributable

    * Next installation attempt worked as usual

    The machine has been that a new build so apparently was not all that he had to take over the facility.  We had the S/N problem recently with a machine that has been restored at the factory, so so this makes a lot of sense.

  • Acrobat Pro extended update

    After a computer crash, I had to re - install my version of Acrobat Pro Extended 9. This succeeded and now I have version 9.0 again. However the previous installation was gradually upgraded to version 9.5. «I ran the update, but said: there is no update available now» I then look at the site and down load was AcrobatUpd945_all_incr.msi hoping to run updates. This does not work either - reported that the patch cannot be executed.

    You may need to install every update in the order of 9.1 to 9.5.5

    I've never been able to update my Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Continually, I get the following message when you try to apply the automatic updates:

    "Error 1328. Error in the application of the path to the C:\Config.Msi\PTB743.tmp file. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact the vendor of your patch. »

    Any ideas on how to get the update?

    I would like to inform you that this Pro XI Acrobat you have is a product serialized from a dealer.

    You can activate this product on two machines at the same time by using the serial number.

    If you find no serial number, in this case would be to please check with the dealer (Amazon) that they would have the details of this purchase.

  • Why is Acrobat Pro 11 license number works in Win7 but not Win10?

    Hi, I have 11 Acrobat Pro on a Windows 7 PC, I need to transfer to a Windows 10 machine. My problem is that in 10 Windows, Adobe refuses to acknowledge my 24-digit serial number, saying it's a strawberry of number of eligible license that the product is not installed on the computer. He then asks me to select another product and enter the number again, but finally unsurprisingly refuses to accept it for one of them. Of course, 11 is correctly installed and running, and I used the procedure to disable/enable. Can you tell me what is happening? Should I get a new number of license somehow? Thanks for your help.

    You will need to select your version of Acrobat earlier & get the serial for the same key in order to activate the upgrade Acrobat Pro XI.

    I deleted my Macbook Pro and reinstalled OS 10.11.2. I downloaded Acrobat Pro 11 and reinstalled. I used the serial number correct and received the error message: "invalid serial number but qualifying product is not found." Crazy because I downloaded the qualifying Adobe product.

    Perhaps you feel the meaning of the qualification of product?

    You have downloaded and installed Acrobat XI and entered your serial number upgrade.

    This means that you upgraded to Acrobat XI to a version earlier than for example Acrobat X or Acrobat 9. This version is known as the "release candidate". It qualifies you for a discounted upgrade price if you are eligible to use the upgrade serial number.

    Thus, in the drop-down list, select version X or 9 and enter the serial number of X Acrobat or Acrobat 9.

    Then your Acrobat XI installation is complete and the software can be activated.

    Upgrade to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Get a message saying "... no product qualifying was not found on this computer.  Then entered the serial number and indicates the serial number for the previous version is not for a product calling?  I tried to enter the serial number in the accounts of my Adobe page section, but it does not recognize either.  Can you please help?

    Creative Cloud App told me to update Acrobat Pro DC. Did the update, agreed it would uninstall the current version before updating. Then during the actual update get this dialog box.

    I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1 to the 2015 edition.  Previously, I had the toolbar tabs in Excel and Word 2003 that allowed me to CLICK and save it as a .pdf.  This seems to have disappeared.  The last stop Pro supports Win2003?  If so, how?

    I'm trying to open a document on a new PC using this program that I loaded from a PC and then downloaded from the site (to see if the th eissue has been resolved).  I get a message saying the serial number is valid, but the product was not found on the computer.  Hope you can advise.

    Let's see if I can sort it. Maybe you just bought a XI Acrobat Pro (upgrade edition). Perhaps he asks you for a product calling?

    If so, he wants the serial number for Acrobat X or Acrobat 9, you already have as a condition of purchase the upgrade.

    I may be completely on the wrong track, so let us know if it does not help.
