1200W NFC: new HP Officejet 100 with NFC 1200w slow printing

I have been using a 1200w NFC to connect a HP officejet 100 mobile printing from my IPhone 6. The first impression would take less then 30 seconds to complete.  I had to get a new printer and 1200w, but the first impression now takes more than 3 minutes.

I tried to update the drivers, but printing is still slow.

I found the solution on youtube.

"It is a problem with most recent firmware HP published to the 1200w, which included Secure active by default printing. Newly purchased of 1200w, as well as those who are upgraded to the new firmware, can experience this problem. To speed up the printing process, follow these instructions. Secure print crypt the print job and it unencrypts then to the printer, which adds a lot of time to print.

Go to 192.168.223.1 in your iphone browser when you are connected to the printer. It comes to the management for the 1200w page. Click on "Network" and then click "Advanced settings". In the box "Enable the IPP", click the menu drop down and select "PIP Only". Click "Save". Restart the 1200w. Your print jobs should be fast again. »

Thanks for you help and I hope that this post helps to another.

I have 2 wireless laptops connected to my printer, a job and a home, especially from my laptop to print job. This just started in the last days.  When I print, documents will start to print, pause, start, once again, stop and then back up to 3-4 minutes later the document will be printed.  I tried to connect the printer to a socket instead of using a surge protector.  In addition, just downloaded the latest driver and updates from HP.

    Thank you for your help

    Hello

The first thing you may want to check: ink levels. Looks like you need to buy inks very soon. The second thing: how busy is your wireless network? Please note: your router has a limit and if she is too busy, print job will be delayed or slower.

    Kind regards.

  • OfficeJet Mobile 100: Printing from a Bluetooth for Officejet 100 Mobile Android device

Can I use my new "HP Officejet 100 Mobile" to print documents from my Android Samartphone?

But I managed to pair the printer, cannot connect to it.

Or I'm wasting my time trying to print from Android?

    Thanks for the information Banhiem,

I think that I hurried and bought the wrong printer
I needed a printer, I can take mobile in a truck and be able to print invoices from an Android device.

I just assumed that the printer as it had Bluetooth would be able to print from different sources.

I'm very disappointed because I can't make it work even on a USB cable from the desktop computer or laptop.

New Premium Officejet Pro 8600 with envelopes in Tray 1 and 8.5 x 11 in tray 2 copies only to Tray 1.  When I try to select the tray 2 in copy options, only Tray 1 appears as a choice.  How to choose tray 2 when it is not listed and do the copy default tray?

I remember coming across this question:

    1. turn off the printer and remove the lower whole and not just the tray 2.

    2. turn on, turn off,

3 replace the tray 2 and the power up.

To enable tray 2 as default copy ferry. Go to the printer->-> select copy LCD display-> select settings-> a selected tray 2 as default.

  • With the help of hp officejet 100 in Malaysia

We are a trading company in Japan to buy "HP officejet 100 Mobile" to the United States. Then ship to the Malaysia and use it in Malaysia. In this situation,

1, the printer needs special care for use in Malaysia?

2, #1 question is 'YES', is the special maintenance able to do by ourselves (or need to send to HP WE?)?

3, the cartridges purchased in Malaysia can work without any problem?

    Appreciate for your fast support.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    1. & 2: you probably have to be sent to the United States. But as a society, you can deal directly with the HP Malaysia and ask them to

  • OFFICEJET 5740 E: can not scan to my Macbook Pro with my new HP Officejet 5740 e

Just installed my new all-in-one printer. I can't scan to my computer, a Macbook Pro. Can I not activate "Scan to computer", although I have confirmed that I have the latest software and drivers.

    Not impressed I must say!

    JFM2015

    Hello JFM2015 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see you have some sweeping problems when you try to scan to your Mac.

I suggest that we start from scratch.

Unplug the usb cable from the Mac and printer and leave that it disconnected until further notice.

The first link that I have for you give instructions on How to reset the printing system.

The next step we will do is to repair disk permissions.

Once the first two steps are completed, we then go and will download and install the 5740 Officejet HP e-All-in-One Printer full feature software and drivers series.

Installation will give you options of connection so please do not connect cables until you are prompted to do so.

Write me back and let me let you know.

    See you soon,.

  • HP officejet 100: hp officejet 100 must often be reset

Printer often needs to be reset by pulling and plugging in the power cord. (battery not installed) when you print using bluetooth. This occurs by using two different computers

    Hello @bogman1,

I'd be more than happy to help you with your HP Officejet 100.

Can you develop exactly what is happening to the printer that requires you to do the hard reset on it?

    I tried to think about possibilities and I came with a few;

Is that when you try to move the connection from one computer to another?

    • Bluetooth is only for 1-to-1, so switching between computers could cause radio bluetooth to get confused - a hard reset would allow him to pair up with the new device.

The printer freeze or become unresponsive when it is connected to bluetooth, fixed to a computer?

Or do you just connectivity problems when you are associated with the printer to a computer?

These documents have plenty of advice for Bluetooth connectivity problems:

If you could add more details on this issue, I can be able to provide more information.

I hope I hear from you soon!

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

    Hi @chris_hansen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you can not print on legal paper with your HP Officejet 100 on Windows 7. I'm happy to help you!

According to your specifications of the printerthis printer supports legal size paper, which is good. First of all, I would like to try running our HP print and Scan Doctor, to ensure that no conflict of driver. If all goes well, try the following:

  • How can I print on my mobile printer officejet 100 since an android via bluetooth device?

Here, I'm puzzled. I installed the printer on my Windows PC. I can't perform a (Bluetooth) pairing of my Android Tablet (Galaxy 10.1 "). I tried to use a variety of print from Android Marketplace programs, but I can't get anything to print.

When I try with PrinterShare, it asks me to select the printer. When I select the OfficeJet 100, thought that the application cannot find a driver for the printer.

Note to HP: you definitely need to improve the documentation on this printer. The docs supplied with my printer make no mention of Android, and it is almost impossible to find something useful online. Very disappointing.

Update: we found a solution that works very well for us at the moment. ICanPrint (Android app) has a small box that can be used to connect an Android tablet to this printer.

We ordered and tested one of these boxes with a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it works very well. The area is small, almost cubic and about 1.5 inch on each side. It requires a power source when printing.

ICanPrint customer support team is extremely sensitive. They worked with us to create a custom driver that meets some of our specific requirements.

Search for ICanPrint on Google play for more information. It is the first solution that we found that actually works, after many hours of agony (days, weeks) of the research.

  • Do not start W30Dt-A-100 with Windows 8 satellite

    I have a toshiba satellite W30Dt-A-100 with Windows 8.
But the laptop does not start the Windows 8.

I get only the screen + Toshiba Leading Innovation > +.

Can someone tell me how I can insert the BIOS or how do I turn on the computer.
I think that it does not check the disk.

Where and how can I open to find the hard drive.

    Well cordially

At first I want to say is: don t open anything on your own. I presume that for laptop is pretty new with valid warranty so don t do anything that can void the warranty.

Since when did you notice this kind of behavior?
Have you noticed the problem even if you use it in laptop mode and tablet?

  • Failure to scan on a brand-new 8620 OfficeJet Pro

    Hello

I have a brand new 8620 Officejet Pro and use OS X v10.9 & use a laptop wireless and desktop via USB.

On both final set-up print without any problem at all but when I try to copy, scan or something by fax printers touch screen comes up with "Scanner failure - cannot copy, scan, or use the fax". As a result, if I open the HP utility it says "device status: scan unknown error".

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all software printer 4 times - twice by using the internet and twice using set up disk & each time the same result as above.

I used the online help guide and followed all the solutions, but all without success.

Anyone can offer any additional help please or is their real fault with it & the printer needs to be replaced

    Thank you very much

    Welcome to the @Stratford_HP forums

I read about how your new Officejet 8620 shows you a failure "Scanner", leaving you unable to copy, fax and scan. I'm here to offer my suggestion and comments for this question.

Try the steps in this guide for failures to scan first, and if the problem is still apparent, I suggest to call HP to inquire about a replacement printer.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax
