Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

  • Error when you try to delete snapshots

    Hello

I have problems when you try to manually delete snapshots of our ReadyNAS. The error is displayed when it fails is 28004020002. After a search through your forums it seems most of the time you ask newspapers, and then it seems that the problem is solved. So if need be I have newspapers available on request.

One of the suggestions also says try a defrag on the device and that pops up and displays a different error message: 14007010000. I don't know if that is related, but I have not dug deep in this one I would like to help with the first issue first please

    All comments are greatly appreciated.

This is the topic I was looking at early to try to help with my problem.

    Fixed.

Please do not restart the system until the balance is over. The balance will take time to complete.

You can see the progress made in the web administration interface.

In addition, you can plan a balance to say run every 2-3 weeks.

  • Error - when you try to delete a file and re - install a program

Can someone help me pls? A program has stopped working for me, so I tried to remove and reinstall and I'm having no luck.

I don't see any more on Add/Remove Programs, but when I look under C/program files, I still see the folder here. When I try to delete the folder, I get an error ' cannot delete r2.bmp: data error (cyclic redundancy check). "

When you try to download this same program again, it says "Setup encountered a disk write error. Please ensure that all other applications are closed before starting the installation. In addition, ensure that the destination drive has enough space and that you have the necessary access rights. "For starters, I havve nothing else open. Shows user accounts I have "administrator rights."

I'm stuck here, without being able to delete the folder or download again. I'm new to computers (wish I knew more). I watched how do I know which system I have and I have XP.

Can any of you help me pls?

Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) errors are usually associated with the hard disk errors.  The best first approach to solve this problem is to do a complete check of the disk.  The short version of the procedure to follow is:
Under "My Computer", right click on the C drive :-> properties-> tools (tab)-> 'Check now'
Check out the options and 'Start '.  He will complain that it cannot do it now and tell you that it will do so at the next startup.  Accept the warning.
Restart your computer and let it complete the disk check.

    More info is here:

WARNING: This control is performed before Windows starts, can take two hours or more and can not be interrupted.  Do it when you won't need your computer for awhile.  Also, it would be prudent to update your backups before the race.

  • Several errors when trying to install ANY software.

For the last few weeks I had several problems when trying to install the software PC games, software, whether antivirus or other software with an .exe installer. A host of mistakes will jump to the top which prevents me to carry out (or) the installation process.

    For example:
When you try to install Avast Antivirus I get - "an error 31 (0000001F) occurred." "Done last operation was: temp directory.
When you try to install Microsoft Security Essentials I get - "can't find a volume for the extraction of the file. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions. »
When you try to install SUPERAntiSpyware I get - "the installation failed. Error reading configuration data. »
When you try to install League of Legends or some other players Setup is not yet open. Nothing happens.
When you try to install another game I had - "Setup could not create the directory"C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp\is-I1SGM.tmp"
These errors occur when I run the .exe as administrator or not, in SafeMode with networking or not. It seems to be a problem with a temporary folder, the permissions of the user or something like that. Would someone kindly help me out here? I uninstalled MSE before moving to Avast yesterday, but now I can not install MSE or Avast so I'm stuck with no antivirus. Help!

    Hello

I'm sorry that BootMedic did not work for you. I figured that if you can download it, there is the live CD when you it burned to a disc. But if you can't do that much, I'm afraid that the only solution is to reinstall Windows 7 directly, for example, of your hidden partition or DVD of Windows system, depending on what you have.

Back up your data and programs for an external drive or USB flash drive and go from there. Do you know how to do a clean install of Windows, or do you need me to walk you through it? If you need help I need to know your computer type, brand and model, and if you have a partition system or DVD disc.

Yet once, my apologies that it didn't work and I would like to know if not how can I help in the recovery process.

    Kind regards

Joan, what you do after the support for XP ends should be your decision. If your computer is still running and do all what you want, you will need to keep your security up-to-date until the software when you need to consider a new computer.  When you upgrade, will be when you decide that it's time for you to do.

  • "DirectX 8.1 do not detected on your system" error when installing a former music software

Original title: "DirectX 8.1 do not detected on your system.

I am trying to install a FORMER music software to use VST plugins on a new Dell XPS 8300 with Windows 7.  The "DirectX 8.1 do not detected on your system" error each time.  After a thorough research on the internet, a solution of choice has been to change the registry in DirectX parameter to 4.08.01.0810 to "fool" the installation program, but that did not work on the XPS (he is actually worked on a Win 7 Dell laptop that I tried).  Any advice?  Thanks in advance.

I know this is an old topic, but I thought that if a search engine led * ME * this is probably do to others too.

The right solution is to go to the CAKEWALK site and download the tool, they have created to let people to come out of this problem.

    Go here:

Or bypass instructions page and download it directly:

Once you unzip the file, run it with the installation disc in your drive.

  • "The action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program" error when you try to delete folders in Windows 7

I've just updated 5 machines for a client to windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro. their data is stored on a server (SBS 2003) and so far, if they wanted to move files or folders or update documents Word / Excel sheets that they could do to will be no problem. What seems to happen now, is that if they try to edit files, then re-save (Word Documents, data sheets Excel etc), they are told the file is in use and changes cannot be saved. We have also upgraded their MS office Pro 2003 to 2010 Small Business but this seems to affect all based not only social files, so for example if I try and move a PDF file from one folder to another I get "file is used and can not be moved / deleted.

I also have another customer with the same problem, same configuration (positions upgraded Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro) they also have problems with moving / deleting files from the shares on a SBS 2003 Server?

I checked the server and the files are certainly not open where else?

Can someone help me on this...

I also tried the following to see if I can cure the problem:

I changed the parameters of GP on Small Business SERVER 2003 as follows:

User configuration - administrative models - Windows components.

    • Click on Windows Explorer.
    • Right click on the entry 'disable caching of thumbnails in the hidden thumbs.db files', then select Edit.
    • Select the parameter.

like apparently Windows 7 stores files in a Thumbs.db file information & to see if that makes a difference, but still no change.

It's seriously trying my patience and my clients are now wondering if they have windows XP back!

Surely theres a fix for this somewhere?

Should also add that I have disabled offline files that I thought that this may be the cause of the problem, but no change.
