15 - j104el - envy that I found an empty bay... mSATA?

Hello

I'm new to the forum.

Data sheet:http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04089360

Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03943414.pdf

You have 12 GB of RAM loaded.

Through 5, 24, 43, 46-48 page in the manual.

slot mSATA, up to 24 GB mSATA SSD is tested by HP, BUT it serves as a player cache instead of the boot drive. Also I don't think that 24Go would be sufficient for this. And with 12 GB or more of RAM, mSATA SSD cache can be set.

You can replace the HDD with SSD. You can see in the manual - 256 & 512 GB SSD had already been tested on your model. It can be used as boot drive to SSD HARD drive cloning. 7mm & 9.5 mm thickness are supported - there is no need a spacer in this case, screw in the support of SSD hard drive & connect to the SATA port.

    Original title: prevention of security Windows opening attachments

    I can't open attachments on emails sent to my email for Microsoft Outlook - it has recently started to happen. I tried to change the security settings in Outlook but they seem to be on the normal and the option to block potentially harmful messages is not checked. When attempting to open the attachments, I get the message that Windows found that this file is potentially harmful and has blocked access to this file. Any can you please suggest how to change it, it occurs on all email attachments, even those I know are safe of them have opened on another computer.

  • My computer says that my drive is empty when it is not...

    I have a toshiba satellite l300 with windows vista and a dvd - r with pictures on it, and whenever I try to watch the photos told me that the disk is empty, but if I try to put something else on the disc it then told me that the disk is write protected.
    I know for a fact that the photos are on the dvd because I can play with my Xbox 360 and also my dvd player, and I also watched them at my friend using their computer.
    Does anyone know why my computer says dvd is blank when it clearly isn't?
    I did not burn the dvd, that it was given to me so I don't know anything about how it is burned, but I know that the photos ARE out there and I really need to find a way to get them on my computer.

    Hello

    Some discs will not work on other machines to due to different alignment problems. Other discs work on your machine, or just one or a few? If only a few then the tolerance of the machine and your unit are on opposite sides of the authorized spectrum. You might even find some discs burn you work on another computer when those burned on it will not work on your. This is because your drive is in fact several devices in one box and the tolerance of each part can be defined in different. Readers can be re-aligned however normally it's really not worth doing.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    If you have problems with all the drives check the below:

    Try this double click Control Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - device - tab - click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive of the driver - UNINSTALL - REBOOT this will refresh the default driver stack.

    Then work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, might have a cable loose or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Hello richkl1, the file list you is a file that is used by HP to create the restore HP Recovery for your system disk.

    Several times, programs such as you use will suggest a few false positives.

    I suspect that maybe it's a fake positive reviews. I would not be concerned about this at all.

  • Move a layer from one document to another, I get the error message that the layer is empty

    When I copy a layer from one document to another in PS CC 2015.5 and then try to move the layer in the destination document, I get the error message that the layer is empty.  It is not empty and I checked several times and checked that the layer is not empty.  I have never had this problem before and wonder if something has changed in CC 2015.5.

    Thanks to all who responded.  I think the problem was that I was using the NEF files and that he had not yet renamed PSD files.  Copy the layer in the destination document, but when I tried to move the layer in the destination document, I received the error message.  Apparently, he was copying the layer but there not then recognize the NEF format.  Once I saved both documents to the PSD, then the program behaved normally.  I appreciate your all of the help.

  • a field that is null or empty error handling

    I have a question about a field. It is possible that the field is empty. How do you manage this issue. I have handled situations except when its empty or null. Then, I get an error msg.

    OAMessageTextInputBean z1 = (OAMessageTextInputBean) webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive ("Zip1");
    ....
    (if the following is added-error when the field is empty)
    ... other variables here
    Zip1 z1.getValue (pageContext) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ().replaceAll("-","") = string; This example gets a 4 5 zip or the number 9 w / a dashboard

    ...
    Number xx = null;
    If (zip1.length () == 5) {zip1.substring (0.5) ;}}
    ElseIf (zip1.length () == 4) {zip1.substring (0.4) ;}}
    ElseIf (zip1.length () == 9) {zip1.substring (0.9) ;}}

    If ((zip1.length () == 5) |) (zip1.length () == 4) | (zip1.length () is 9))
    try {xx = new Number (zip1) ;}
    catch (System.Exception e)
    {throw new OAException ("invalid postcode has been entered") ;}}
    on the other
    If ((zip1.length ()! = 5) |) (zip1.length ()! = 4). ((zip1.length ()! = 9))

    How can I treat the empty field

    Hello

    your null pointer exception to this rite of declaration do?

    Zip1 z1.getValue (pageContext) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ().replaceAll("-","") = string;

    Check the value before replacing...

    String zip = (String) z1.getValue (pagecontext);
    String zip2;
    If (zip! = null)
    {
    Zip2 = zip.replaceAll("-","");
    }

    Or to avoid empty values make the field as mandatory in the page.Xml.

    Thank you

  • When I logged on Firefox, I found my empty outlook Inbox. Is there a way to retrieve all emails that were lost?

    I got emails that I save, but are now gone. I wonder if there was malware or a virus that did it. Can you help me?

    Hi, Firefox is a browser, it never stores your Emails.

  • When I download something on the Web, the "Downloads" window opens, but that the window remains empty. Before it used to show at least the name of the file and I was able to open the file in the "Downloads" window Is it possible to recover this feature?

    I am running Windows XP that is updated to the latest version (which I think could be Service Pack 3, but not positive.) Mozilla Firefox is version 5.0. I tend to use Google as my search engine, so most of the stuff I download comes through sites found through Google, which is also updated.

    At some point in the past (there are maybe a few versions) when I want to download a file from the Internet, the "downloads" window opens and in the window would display the name of the file I got was download or came from download. I think I used to be able to then click on the file name and opens the file (or the Setup file if necessary to launch the new program). I am currently using Firefox 5.0 (screen "On Firefox" said that it is up to date) and when I download a file or document, the "Downloads" window appears on the screen as it has always in the past, but it remains empty, that is, nothing is displayed in the download area. I don't remember to make configuration changes, etc., that may have caused the window to remain a Virgin, but I could be wrong. I know how to find the items I downloaded (My Documents / downloads) and can generally guess what might be the name of the downloaded file, but it was much easier when something (anything) appeared in the downloads window.

    I'd like someone to tell me about a simple solution for this. I'm ready to be pretty embarrassed that I did something I should not have.

    In the Firefox Options / confidentiality be sure 'Remember download history"is checked. To see all the options on this Panel, "Firefox will be" must be set to "use the custom settings for history".

    To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click on the icon my computer, choose Properties, this little window is info on your operating system.

  • HP envy m6-p113dx: m2 location empty in HP envy m6-p113dx

    Hello

    I recently bought a HP envy m6-p113dx laptop.   form downloaded to this product HP website the user guide, there is a mention on this laptop with two slots m2.  The one occupied by the Wifi/Bluetooth and another location module vacuum/free m2.

    I would like to find out more details on this empty slot free m2.

    (1) is this slot machine free m.2, PCIe or SATA3?

    (2) can I add a SSD HDD into this slot m2, how long?

    (3) If Yes to above question, how and where, any service centers in Hyderabad, India?

    Thank you

    Srinath

    You said earlier that you plan to add a device on the m2 slot that HP was not listed as an option. Which seems to imply that the guarantee is not so much a matter of concern.

    How do you propose to find out what format of m2 is the slot and what voltage (1.8 or 3.3), it works on the motherboard? These are exclusive matters that HP has the answers to. The manufacturers publish generally that the information that they believe that customers need one.

    The slot pcie m2 can be either a 2230 m2 or 1216 m2 format.

    Card slot sizes

    M.2 2230: 22 mm x 30 mm x 2.4 mm [1.5 mm Max (top side) / 0.1 mm Max (low side)]

    M.2 1216: 12 x 16 mm x 1.7 mm

  • Favorites synchronization of laptop Dell which uses Windows Vista for my HP Envy that uses Windows 8.1

    Somehow when I installed my HP Envy, I was able to get the Favorites of my Dell laptop which uses Windows Vista in Favorites on my desire that has Windows 8.1. Now, they are not there and I don't know how to recover. Tried the system restore, but no luck.

    Hello:

    If you are referring to the favorite links to Internet Explorer, it's what I do...

    Get a USB and navigate to your Vista username account and copy the Favorites folder on the flash drive.

    Plug the USB on your new PC W8.1, go in your user name folder and copy the Favorites folder in this window and let it overwrite the existing Favorites folder, as you see here.

    After the Vista Favorites folder replaces the empty Favorites W8.1 folder, you should be all set when you open Internet Explorer on your new PC.
