  • Firefox can be installed on a fire of kindle?

I just want to know if I can run on my kindle Fire Fox fire?

    Hello

There is not a version of Firefox for Android available for Amazon products, but there is a way that you can download and use it on your device.

In the system or the application of settings on your device, you will need to find the setting to allow the device to install software from unknown sources.

You will then need to consider carefully and download the file for the version of Firefox for Android that you want to use by using your mobile device.

The full version of Firefox for Android (available here) does not automatically update. You will need to manually download the new versions (this can replace any bookmarks and settings that you saved).

Beta of Firefox for Android (available here) does not automatically update. You will need to manually download the new versions (this can replace any bookmarks and settings that you saved). This is not a finished product but is more stable than Firefox Aurora for Android.

Aurora Firefox for Android (available here) updates automatically, but it is a less polished version of Firefox for Android beta, so may contain some bugs.

(There is a version that is early production, Firefox Nightly for Android, but it is much less stable and very well is an unfinished version of the browser).

Once downloaded, it will open automatically, or you must open it with an application of type file explore.

It is a challenge very non-standard, but I hope this helps.

  • Very concerned Mac was on fire!

Firstly noticed smoke that floats in front of the screen, but thought it was my ecig.  Then I heard some crackling and popping noises and a horrible smell of burning, then fire saw coming out on the side of my mac (I used it at the time!)

I managed to put out the flames and thought that my mac would not work again, but everything seems fine?

Burn damage can be seen and still stinks.  My mac is four years old, and my applecare warranty has now lapsed.

Advice or suggestions you would know that I am very careful in case it happens again.

Take it to an Apple Store or authorized service provider and ask them to look at.

  • Installed Firefox on fire 2015 - icon opens then closes immediately

using the FTP apk I was able to install Firefox on my tablet to 2015 of the fire. I had the icon and I can open it, but then it closes immediately - what hurts? How can I install correctly? When I look for help online, I keep seeing that I should use Google game - I don't have access to it.

Make sure that you have downloaded the correct version for your tablet. We produce 3 versions of Firefox for an Android for the appliances of gingerbread for Intel x 86 devices and one for modern Android devices.

The version of your device will be in a folder that end with - api-11. For example, this is our version of Firefox for Android of Aurora. https://FTP.Mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/Mobile/nightly/latest-Mozilla-Aurora-Android-API-11/Fennec-44.0a2.multi.Android-arm.APK

  • When Fire Fox support (again!) for display of multi column (and navagable) Favorites (bookmarks)?

I always use rev 31. This is the last version that is compatible with the add-in on, "Multicolumn Bookmarks 1.5', I have several brands of books collected over the years and the single column format is frustrating and not helpful."

Asked to provide a current version, which is compatible with "MultiColumn Bookmarks 1.5' Fire Fox, or provide a favorite navigable multi-column as option display in a near future program revision Fire Fox.»

    Sorry, to complete the thought:

    (1) install Stylish from the Mozilla Add-ons site

    (2) then back to the user page of style to get the style (the button should be green instead of blue right here)

  • Can I install newer versions of Firefox OS on Alcatel OneTouch fire? How?

I'm trying to follow a suggestion (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1087727#answer-791503) I'm on another question I ask here, but I feel that's not possible, so I would ask here too specifically.

I have an Alcatel OneTouch fire (first version), and it updates only until Firefox OS 1.3. I would like to upgrade to newer if possible versions. The list of official devices (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/os/devices/) says nothing about the Firefox OS versions run these devices. Isn't it weird?

Can I build a newer version of the operating system and the flash on my camera? It is latest updates because Alcatel / my carrier do not have available or is there a technical limitation that prevents me to run newer versions of Firefox OS on this unit?

    Thank you!

Hi, some versions of compiled community seem to be available to the https://vegnuxmod.wordpress.com/hamachi-alcatel-otf/

  • Load Firefox on Amazon Fire TV Stick - side does not fit screen

Aside I loaded Firefox apk on Amazon fire t tv to activate my fire t tv in a device capable of web browser. Works fine, but the image on the TV screen is about 2% to 4% too large for the screen. Kodi (other side responsible apk) allows photo 'zoom' to make the software output corresponds to the tv... you have any suggestions or a fix?

Never mind... turns out that the firefox tv stick has a display setting in the settings. Found AFTER I asked, of course.

  • Refreshed Fire fox on windows 10, now can't go to let Web sites

I was wrong with Zynga and trying to play a game on their site. They gave me advice on how to 'Refresh' fire fox, and after I did, I now can't access the site of Zynga, or go to Facebook. Seems that Firefox has updated 40.02, and now nothing works! I use windows 10.

Try disabling the analysis of HTTPS in the Web Shield, Avast.

Open the Avast dashboard on the affected system.
Select Settings from the left sidebar menu.
    Switch to Active Protection.
Click on Customize next to Web Shield.
Uncheck the "Enable HTTPS Scanning" option and click ok.

  • Forget the button against the history value delete when closing Fire Fox

I have FF value delete browsing history all whenever I close Fire Fox, which is common. In addition to the fact that there is a delay in the suppression of history until closed FF is the Forget button more in-depth than my current method of deleting the history. The history is also deleted by Norton Utilities, whenever I run optimization NAKED at least once a day?

Your question looks like it's to ask if the Forget button is more thorough than the deletion of all close. I think it's just the latest is automatic and forget the button is for those who want to do it with Firefox always open. They do the same thing but even thoroughly.

  • Can I get Firefox OS on a fire E Alcatel?

Yes Sir I want to know my answer is useful

  • where is the directory of documents in fire fox

I have used IE before, but I switched to Mozilla Fire Fox. I'm looking for the directory Documents from Fire Fox so I can move documents
    Since the inside office

Hmm, Firefox is a directory of Documents. If you need a place for items on your desktop, I suggest using your regular Documents folder (a Windows creates for you). To move documents, you can use Windows Explorer, I suggest to pin to the Windows taskbar. They shortened keyboard is: hold down the Windows key and tap the E key.

    About directories in Firefox:

    • By default, Firefox saves your downloads in your downloads folder. You can change this in the Options page if you wish: boot, homepage, tabs and download settings. But the internal list of downloads of Firefox won't show what Firefox has added to this folder, and not that you moved to the folder from your desktop.

Overall, Firefox is more oriented to browsing websites that it is towards browsing the files on your computer. Due to security rules and differences in the way Firefox integrates with applications, I don't think that you will find it as useful as Windows Explorer for these purposes.

  • Fire Fox is a Devourer of data

All of a sudden, FF (38.0.5) on Mac OS X Yosemite is sucking down nearly 2 GB of data per day. I have lost/3 GB on a data plan of 5 GB in 6 days. Who steals my flow? I checked through Activity Monitor on Mac and found Firefox to be by far the largest user of network data, and the same is reflected on my Android phone. Please help me to learn how to get inside Fire Fox and strip out / stop this code responsible for this flight. I may be old school (A + and Network + cert for life in 2001), but I can learn.

Is there a way to "simply" FF data operations, as to minimize the complex data for download on the computer from web pages by pushing a data-rich content?

    Thank you.

COR - el, I thank you for your reply, but that wasn't it. It's FACEBOOK. He could shoot down 3-8 MB each time I looked to see a new reply or new post. I finally thought to it. I ended up changing to m.facebook.com, works without requiring a mobile device user agent looking for mobile versions of any web site I frequent regularly. The data rate went from as much as 500-800 MB, in one day, at about 120-140 MB, in an entire day. Now, in the future, I have more space to download books I use in my research that I do now.

Is it true that using a mobile device user agent still does not prevent Web sites send to your browser, all of the content before it gets returned to mobile view? I found that the use of such an agent does not solve the problem of the use of data. The best way to do this was to use a mobile version of a website, and now I don't have to watch my surfing more closely, even though I've been watching the activity monitor closely to see how my actions affect the data rate.

    Thank you.

Because I complained the limitations of the data and how they don't have a plan of 8 GB, they cut the data used TWICE of what I see in the measure of data consumption.

  • Where can I find the module fire FTP once I have it loaded and how I put the icon in the toolbar from my browser?

This process has been drag-and-drop on my Mac, but I can't find anything of such a process to Fire FTP on my PC Firefox browser.

You should be able to click on the menu icon, then click on customize, then drag the fireftp from the list of buttons button whenever you want.

I had a few problems with buttons does not appear does not after installing addons recently, however. If this is the case, you can directly type chrome://content/fireftp/fireftp.xul in the address bar to access the interface of fireftp.
