• Really stupid Q - you don't see not what I get (WYSWYG is not!)

  Super stupid question, but I wrote a simple site for a class project that I put to 1000px everywhere. I swear that it was close enough in DW Design view, but after playing with the code it now spans the screen.  In other words, what you see is NOT what I get.  On the contrary, what I see is 1420px everywhere.  So I don't know where to put images, etc without going into the Live View to see how it makes.

  What should I do to get the design view to show me the page as a page 1000px instead of the default 1420?  I know that I can move the right column of DW 1000px, but I swear to you that I didn't have to do it before.  Or maybe I'm nuts!

I have worked with Dell on this same they couldn't get it to work., we are past the UEFI BIOS for Legacy and had the right to RAMA and there was the third thing that I have a hard time recalling, I think it's boot on CD, and the setting has been set successfully. We spent hours trying to do or not this result. I tried the DVD and USB, at one point, it looked as if he was going to install the o/s, but we got a box that came to ask us to search for the drivers, I could see the "C" drive and the 'X'

  He asked to load the driver, but no matter what we tried, it didn't work. Here I could get. I even ran the F6 drivers utility, and it was still a no-go.

  It is an easy one.  You probably have a corrupt user profile.  One of the following solutions, you should get back working again...

  Note also that corrupt user profiles are usually accompanied or caused by the corruption of system files.  After recovery, it would be prudent to run a complete control of the disk (chkdsk) with the /F or /R option to repair corrupt sectors.

  Note that this can take hours and cannot be interrupted, then perform it when you won't need your machine for awhile.

  Please run illustrated steps below to solve the problem:

  Step 01. Click the Start button

  Step 02. Type "Device Manager" in the search box of start and open the Device Manager

  Step 03. Get piles and expand it by clicking on the symbol to the left.

  Step 04. Right click on "Microsoft ACPI Control method battery compatible" & uninstall

  Note: This driver battery is re - install automatically when you restart the laptop

  Step 05. Shut down the laptop

  Step 06. Please, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter

  Step 07. Press and hold the full power 1 minute button

  Step 08. Go ahead and replace the battery and plug the power adapter

  I have documented my travel in the picture below - in case it helps others with this problem.

  Basically, I had to uninstall the device by using the device before Manager he'd let me to install the updated driver.
