Flash Player 11.2.202.235, IE9 64 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, HP laptop - objects don't do not display-seevideo

Flash Player 11.2.202.235, Internet Explorer 9 64 - bit, Windows 7 64 bit, HP laptop - Flash objects are not correctly displayed in the browser; window settings right click does poster correctly either; I have to scroll to the bottom and go up to see parts of the Flash object but it disappears in any case when I mouse on.

I took the video of the question and now have that are related to it.  In the video, I show two tabs of the browser - that of this site and a site of Bank of America (BoA) with a flash object.  You can see how the flash BoA object disappears when I make the active tab.

Help, please!

  • TinyChat audio problems with Flash Player 11.2.202.228

I recently installed the debug version of Flash Player 11.2.202.228.  After installation, I noticed that the audio for TinyChat.com work well.  It would continuously cut in and out.  I tried to clear memory cache, cookies, and Flash shared data without result.  I rebooted my router, but that did not help either.  I downgraded to debug the 11.1.102.55 version and the audio now works perfectly.  Any ideas why this happens?

I run Firefox 11.0 on Windows XP SP3.

  • MMS.cfg and Flash Player 11.2.202.228

If someone knows why Flash Player 11.2.202.228 do not grey on 'Change update settings' and 'Check now' button in the Flash Player Settings Manager 'AutoUpdateDisable = 1'?  Radio three buttons are dimmed and the "never check for updates is selected.

    We use the SP1 of Win7 x 64 with IE8 x 32 (x 64 is there also).

    I'm moving from 11.1.102.63 to 11.2.202.228.

I use the msi installer. (I am an admin first installation.  "I have a transformation that puts the file mms.cfg in place.)

With installed 11.1, the buttons are grayed out.  When I update to 11.2.202.228, they are not.

All I have in the mms.cfg file is 'AutoUpdateDisable = 1'

When I take it on the radio three buttions are grayed out, but the setting is "notify me when updates are available. So it seems that it is reading.

And, below the correct settings to turn off all updates and background updates?

    AutoUpdateDisable = 1

    SilentAutoUpdateEnable = 0

  • Are these correct files for flash player 11.2.202.229?

    Use Vista 32-bit with IE8

Installed new 11.2.202.228 flash drive appears without a problem. However, when I look at some of the files, they seem to look much different from the previous.

For example, the active x file use to look like this

    Flash11g.ocx

Now a new looks like this

    Flash_32_11_2_202_228.ocx

I also see FlashPlayerApp (exe file) in C:\WINDOWS\system32\

If the FlashPlayerApp should show in C:\WINDOWS\system32?

And Flash_32_11_2_202_228.ocx the good flash player for windows Vista 32 bit?

    Hi FPagain,

Yes, all files are installed in the right place and FlashPlayerApp.exe should be in C:\Windows\system32.

  • Flash Player (11.4.402.278) works only on Windows 7, 64 bit, IE9.

I can install and uninstall Flash, but I can't locate or use once on my PC. Help appreciated, thanks.

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not a standalone player that can open files.

If you need to read local .swf files, you can download the standalone player (projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Note that the download is the player, not an installer.

  • Flash Player 11.2.202.228 no longer plays my audio flv

Installed the new flash player and all of a sudden my audio flv is no longer played in an existing media player created using the FLVPlayback component.

Finally realized that if I change the component setting FLVPlayback "maintainAspectRaion" from false to true, the audio will play.

This announcement just in case someone else has the same problem.

I never said that being a FLV file has nothing to do with the audio being smaller. What I said using the Adobe Media Encoder to export as a flv gives the best quality file size. And it's true unless / until someone can provide another program this batch exporting MP3s to a smaller file size.

In any case, I have 1000s of multimedia files and only one player (build in flash), then the solution posted on the maintainAspectRatio is the only possible way. Thank you very much!

  • Download Adobe Flash Player on a Vista with a 64-bit browser

I went to a website to download information.  However, I was told that I need to have Flash Player 8.  I tried to download Flash Player 8, but I get a message that Adobe requires a 32-bit browser, and mine is a 64-bit browser.  Is there a way to circumvent this requirement or to switch to a 32-bit browser when I need access to this particular Web site?

    Hi getbak

Unfortunately, Adobe has released not yet a 64-bit version of their Flash Player. Any Web site that contains Adobe Flash content unusable with a 64-bit browser.

The 64-bit version of Vista includes a 32-bit version of the Internet Explorer browser. You might be able to use to access this Web site.

See the following Web site for more information on how to access the 32-bit browser.

    Hi Jorge,.

It's the Installer (which is 1 MB) online.  Then, it downloads and installs Flash Player silently in the background.  We are aware to post it on the white screen with the installer online and are working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can use Setup offline full (16 MB).  The download of the installer is displayed at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page, in the section "problems".

  • Flash Player for Firefox on Win 8 / 64-bit

I'm trying to install Flash Player for Firefox on Windows 8, 64-bit system, but have no end of grief.

I finally get the problem initially, and it happens because when I enter the info on the download page, it instead serves the Setup program for the 32-bit version.

In fact, it checks on the page that I request and download the 64-bit version, but what I get and then install is 32-bit.  And, therefore, I can't get Flash Player to work in Firefox.

Is there any way at all I can access the true 64-bit Flash Player for Firefox / Windows 8?

There is no installation of 32-bit and 64-bit; on a 64-bit system, the Setup program will automatically install 32-bit and 64-bit players.

    Download the installer from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe

  • 11.0.03 software Adobe Reader and Flash Player 11.8.800.94 works only on Windows 8

On a computer running Windows Enterprise 8, Adobe Reader 11.0.03 and Flash Player 11.8.800.94, I am unable to open a PDF compatible flash.  Reader gives me the error "to view the contents of the Flash technology in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat".  Review Adobe's Flash page shows me that Flash Player works and I can open other files of basic PDF in Reader.  I have another machine with the same configuration, except that it has 11.0.03 instead of Reader Acrobat and the PDF file opens fine on this machine.  Why the drive will not open the PDF compatible Flash?

The Flash Player ActiveX is integrated to IE10 on Windows 8, but you will need to install the plugin (for other browsers, as well as Adobe Reader) of Michael link.
