1Z0-052 and 9i DBA 1 fundamental differences

What class of funda-1(if i am not wrong its 1z0-031) DBA 1z0 - 052 and 9i differ? they are conceptually different?

From a conceptual point of view? A little.
Practically? Yes.

Between 9i and 10g, Oracle changed the purpose and should together for a DBA skills. The swing is to practical skills.

    Hello.

    I have passed the SQL Fundamentals I exam recently and my new goal is Administration I. I bought the 1z0-052 necessary corrected by John Watson, but without practice, it is impossible to obtain skills or to take the exam. Will it be enough to try to apply what is in a book on Oracle 11 g XE which was released recently? There are different versions of Oracle 11 g which are available for download, but I'm not really sure what is sufficient for the preparation. Should I pay for these versions?
    I kindly ask you to advise me, systems applications that might help me get skills for certification and actual practice.

    You must accept the OTN license agreement in order to download the Enterprise edition of the database, Yes.

    From a functional point of view, there is no difference between the software that you download from OTN and the software that you get when you purchase a full license. The only difference is that you are allowed to do with the software. It is interesting to read through the OTN license agreement to see what you and may not do with the software you download - I will not attempt to summarize what is and is not allowed since this is a legal agreement and I would almost certainly leave something important on.

  • Clarification of the procedure on 11g DBA OCP 10g OCP 1z0-052/3 via

    For a 10 DBA OCP, which has already certified by (1z0-042/1z0-043) and 11g RAC (hands on courses).

    and who passed 1z0-052 and 1z1 053

    What is the procedure to achievee 11g OCP DBA certification:

    Is this:

    (a) doing nothing - Ms. Postwoman it will deliver in time
    (b) new submission that the 11 g RAC hands on courses already submitted for 10 g OCP DBA 11 g Certification OCP DBA certification.
    (c) submit an extra hands on the course or to reach 11 g DBA OCP 1z0-050.

    Thank you everyone.

    If you are 10g DBA OCP and want to update to 11g OCP DBA taking the 11g DBA initial certification exams rather than the review of upgrade, you will need to pass all 3 exams. Since you took 052 and 053, you will also need a requirement to review SQL: 001, 007, 047 or 051. If you take one of these reviews already, you should receive a certificate in the mail. If not, you must take one of these exams, nor the upgrade exam 050.

    It is not necessary to complete additional training and submit additional Special form. If you have completed a review of SQL and wait for your certificate, you can contact [email protected] to reassure that your certification has been processed and that your kit is on the way.

  • 1z0 - 052 or 1Z0-147

    I'm lost between the 1z0-147 and 1z0 - 052.
    I've been a sql developer before... but I don't have a lot of experience, so I decided to go back and work in databases. I have now taken the 1z0-007, and the next step is one of the two mentioned above.

    That it would be better to boost my career?
    that one is easier to start?
    Thank you guys

    Would it not prudent to tell that I can go for the 1z0-052, even if I don't have a lot of experience in PL/sql programming?

    Not really sure what you mean to ask. 1Z0-052 is DBA certification, 1Z0-144 is the PL/SQL certification:

    * 1Z0-052: Oracle Database 11g: Administration I *.
    * 1Z0-144: Oracle Database 11g: program with PL / SQL *.

    That said, when you enter the field, the point of studying for a certification is not because you already know what is being tested. The point is to use them to increase what you know on the issues addressed in the review. A DBA or an experienced developer can take specifically certifications as a way to validate for themselves, or their employers, they know the information. However, your post, an indication that you have given is that you don't have the knowledge to pass a test right now. Regardless of the path you choose, you will need to learn. That being the case, you need to decide which way you prefer - a personal desire to be a DBA vs a developer or from the point of view that you feel be in demand in your geographic area.

    Anyone with the ability to study and retain information can pass an exam. Any person who does not have the ability to study and retain information should not be in this area. There are areas where these capabilities are not necessary. Anyone can say "you want fries with that?

  • 1Z0-062 and Certification prep training / seminar

    The list of exam for 1Z0-062 (Oracle database Installation and Administration 12 c) includes NO MultiTenant Architecture.

    My question is if the training seminar / learning database of courses for the use of the Installation and Administration a MultiTenant (or the CDB, with 1 PDB only) for 'practice '.  It would cause confusion about how to monitor and administer the database?

    Note: Currently, I teach for 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-052 in 11g where this question arises.

    The review is based on D78846GC10 (5 days), which uses a non - CBD pre-built and D77766GC10 (2 days) where you create both a non - CBD and a CBD. However, I can assure you that you will not follow the official exercises. Many of them are strongly oriented GUI and do all with click-click-click, your students will learn anything unless you change them.

  • RMS / amplitude and phase to the fundamental frequency

    Hi, does anyone know how to find the RMS or amplitude and phase to the fundamental frequency of a signal measured in Labview?

    I tried with the Analyzer for harmonics of buit - in, but he can't give the values of the phase angle. I also tried the FFT VI spectrum, but I don't think the results are good.

    Thank you.

    Hi again

    Harmonic distortion Analyzer is a polymorphic VI, this means that if you connect a single signal in and then you get a unique signal, and if you connect a table of signals in out you a table.

    The VI I is not polymorphic, but you can easily change to work with multiple signals. If you look at the standard implementation for the harmonic distortion Analyzer N-channel then, he simply called the channel 1 harmonic distortion Analyzer a loop for. So you can easily call my VI in the same way. See attached screenshot:

    They should NOT put just to 12 c, correct.

    Fix.  There is not currently a scheduled date for individuals with 11g as their highest certification of need to obtain a new certification.  If Oracle does not change their policy (unlikely), it will be a date in the future where it is practiced.  However, the upgrade to 11g will prolong the active life of their powers of Oracle by (I guess here) 2-3 years.

    I don't know what you mean by "shall take".  Once you have OCP, Oracle requires no additional training for practical requirement - even if the certifications become inactive and must be reactivated. I guess you mean that he took the class because he wanted to prepare 1Z0 - 050. Based on this issue, he now wonders if he needed to go directly to 1Z0 - 060 rather (and therefore would like to take the new features in preparation for this test review 12 c).

  • Update modules with the capital letters and tiny rulename make the difference

    Hello

    I had a problem when I'm experiementing the code example in the semantic oracle developer guide. the sample is to update a modules-family_rb:

    UPDATE mdsys.semr_family_rb SET
    background = ' (? x: parentOf? y) (? y: parentOf? z) (? z: height? h)'.
    filter = ' (h > = 6)',
    alias = SEM_ALIASES (SEM_ALIAS (", 'http://www.example.org/family/'))
    WHERE nom_regle = 'GRANDPARENT_RULE ';

    in the last line, the where clause, the name of the rule (GRANDPARENT_RULE) is a capital letter; but it's tiny, when I inserted in modules. However, when I updated the modules by using the name of tiny rule, I got ' 0 inserted row"which means nothing updated. and, the following query returns the wrong result. However, if I've updated modules by using the name of rule of capital letters, I ' 1 inserted row"and the result of the query is correct. I thought that the uppercase and lowercase should made no difference. can someone tell me why the results are different? Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Hong

    Salvation Hong,

    When a rule is inserted in a rules database, his name will be stored as all capitals.
    So what you have observed is expected.

    If you don't want to change the name of the rule manually, you can probably do something
    Like this:

    UPDATE mdsys.semr_family_rb SET
    background = ' (? x: parentOf? y) (? y: parentOf? z) (? z: height? h)'.
    filter = ' (h > = 6)',
    alias = SEM_ALIASES (SEM_ALIAS (", 'http://www.example.org/family/'))
    WHERE nom_regle = upper ('grandparent_rule');

    Thank you

  • Could I take 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-047 together?

    Hi, I currently intend to take an Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate. Initially, I intend to take the path of 1Z0 - 047 + 1Z0-144, that leads to this certification, because the exam 1Z0-047 points also to an another cert (cert Oracle SQL Expert). So if I take this path, I'd end up with two certifications (cert Expert Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate)

    However, people keep telling me that 1Z0-047 is very hard, saying that 1Z0 - 051 is a lot easier if I want to guarantee a PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate.

    So, is it possible that I take all three exams (1Z0-047, 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-144)? I think that takes 1Z0 - 051 as a kind of 'practice' because it is an online exam and the scope of the review seems easy for me. I also have some budgets for me so I don't mind spend a little more money to the Oracle exams.

    I wonder if both of them (051, 047) are mutually exclusive in the policy review or something.

    So, is it possible that I take all three exams (1Z0-047, 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-144)?

    Yes, you can take both 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-047. In fact, I highly recommend taking 1Z0-051 before 1Z0-047. You heard correctly, 047 is a much more difficult test and requires a much higher level of experience or SQL knowledge. If you look at the subjects of study for the two trials, you will see that 1Z0 - 047 includes essentially all the 1Z0-051 exam topics and has an another 30 more topics. Study for 1Z0 - 051 is, in itself, the scrutiny of experts preparation. Discuss the two reviews in an article here:

    http://www.gocertify.com/articles/Oracle-SQL-certification-1Z0-051-or-1Z0-047.html

  • Books for 1Z0-047 and 1Z0-144

    Hi all

    I intend to study for certification "Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate. I was intending to prepare for 1Z0 - 047 and 1Z0-144, as both of these reviews are validated based on Oracle Database 11 g.

    I was wondering if one of the guys here can help me with the couple of questions I have.

    1. that we recommend among the two exams below?

    1Z0-047 (Oracle database SQL Expert)
    or
    1Z0-051 (Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I)

    2. what books should I refer to 1Z0-047 and 1Z0-144? I read a lot of threads on this topic. But, I haven't found a good answer yet, that's why I'm writing this question again.

    For 1Z0-047, I've seen people recommend the following:
    OCA Oracle database SQL Expert corrected: exam 1Z0-047 (Osborne Oracle Press series) by Steve O'Hearn
    OCA Oracle Database 11g SQL Fundamentals I corrected: exam 1Z0-051 (Osborne ORACLE press series) by John Watson and Danielle Ramklass

    1Z0-144 for, I've seen people recommend the following:
    Oracle PL/SQL programming: Versions of covers by Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 (Animal Guide) with Steven Feuerstein, Bill Pribyl
    OCP developer PL/SQL program units corrected by Steve O'Hearn

    I ask you guys to help me because I don't have an idea on these books. It would be really great if someone who has passed the examinations or read these books shed some light on these.

    Thanks in advance.

    I expect the review Expert SQL to be stronger, more need SQL knowledge, but if it was my choice, I seek the Oracle Press book you mentioned everything first and go to the Expert SQL exam. The nice thing about that is that you get the cert SQL Expert on this one review.

    Preparation for the next review would be more difficult, because there is no easy choice for a book. Feuerstein's book is good to have, but is big enough and not particularly focused on the content of any review. I called when he was studying in the review of PL/SQL, 1z0-146, but only that I found the relevant content to the object that Oracle posted about it. I also used the PL/SQL book you mentioned by Steve O'Hearn (I could borrow through interlibrary loan), which has also been helpful, but the same idea applies, that is, you might find some useful stuff in here...

    The best thing to do in such cases is to use the object posted by Oracle for the review and go to the Oracle documentation. Really, you find that it is better than the springs for a book that is perhaps not so relevant in such cases.

  • Oracle Database Express and other editions Installation Doc difference

    Hello, I'm a total newbie. Any help will be appreciated.
    First of all, I tell you I want to be an Oracle DBA.
    My question is; I read the database to Oracle 11 g R2 documentation at this link http://www.oracle.com/pls/db112/homepage

    I spent a few days discovering all parts of installation including the class desktop and server configuration.

    I learned, so I had already downloaded Express database Oracle 11 g R2 for win32.

    I thought I had already done the installation guide that it is time to install the oracle now. I did, and what I've found, is there not an option during the installation I've read in above documentation.

    While trying to find on this difference, I arrived on http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17781_01/index.htm documentation

    It is for the Express version only.

    My question is, Express edition, which we use for the purpose of learning, but it's not like he has all the things we learn during the installation (after I have no idea right now).

    And what are the documents I should follow my previous gave two links?
