  I have searched in net help on this one, but I can't seem to find anything.  We have recently improved our UCS chassis, the IFS and the blades of 2.0(1q) to 2.1 (1st) and we receive an error on all our VLAN configured.  The VLAN is functioning and passing traffic, but I would try the 900 + compensation warnings.  Here are the details of the error:

  You deleted a VLAN system under the tab 'LAN', but there's a vNIC model or a model of the referencing service profile.   We have just now in 2.1 added a "check" to make sure of any VLAN referenced in a model vNIC resolve to one VLAN assets.

  Search for and delete the model/policy and it will disappear.

• Bug in delete close image

  There seems to be a bug which, during delete immediately after the image only deletes characters selected, first paragraph, only. Steps to reproduce are the following:
  1 insert several paragraphs
  2 insert a picture in a place at the halfway point
  3. now, select text beginning just after the image and ending after several paragraphs down.
  4. now press DELETE
  
  Results:
  Characters from the paragraph with the image will be deleted but other paragraphs will not be deleted.

  Thank you for reporting this! I've logged it as a bug to take a look at our engineers. There are some problems in this area to watch in recent generations. I'll post again when the bugs are cleaned and patches are included in new construction.

• Bug with deleting content

  On the deletion of old content from a collection - (18 collections in all!). The collection still keeps some data, although there is no items that it contains.

  Might be interesting to look at that? Attached image to a collection, which is EMPTY, apart from a single banner - and yet all these "unknown" entities are still listed.

  

  Finally, there is a big delay when deleting articles, and the system seems to remove one by one.

  Had to wait for 30 minutes to see them all disappear.

  I'm working on it for about 2 years in a hospital, I have most of the virtualized servers.

  So two years ago, I created a server of access point for patients, running solid rock. But for precautions I virtualized vmware, machine machine have two network cards and the "output" nic is on a different IP range and Vlan that I created only for the hotspot. What can I do to assign the ID of the vlan hotspot in my eCard network of 'exit' on the virtualized machine hotspot?

  You have several ways to allow multiple VLANS works on ESXi\;

  Method 1: Configure the interface port on the side of physical switch ' trunk/tag' mode and on vSwitch create several groups of ports and assign a VLAN to each group of ports and when the interfaces are added virtual network in VM, bind each virtual network interface to the appropriate port group.

  Method 2: If you have several network interfaces physical on vSphere, ESXi, configure each interface on a physical switch port to VLAN appropriate and create a vSwitch (and a group of ports) for each VLAN and adding VM virtual network interfaces, bind each virtual network interface to the appropriate port group.

  Method 1 is recommended, as it will allow you add several VLANS you need without needing additional physical network interfaces.

• StructCount bug when deleting a key of the FORM field

  Help, please.  I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

  When I try to remove a key from the FORM field, the StructCount to the extent of the FORM remains unchanged, even if the key doesn't seem to be within the scope of the FORM any longer.  This is not the case when I create a struct in the scope of VARIABLES.  I enclose the code I used to test this.

  Is this a bug with ColdFusion?  Is there a fix / patch for this?  I use Coldfusion Enterprise version 8,0,0,176276.

  Unfortunately, I don't think you can avoid it as it seems to be a problem with the underlying FormScope class.  You could wrap your alternative 'counting' code in a cffunction.  Which would keep at least the logic in one place:

• Addition of VLAN model vNIC gives recoverable warning on no uplink with all the VLANS

  We try to add a new VLAN to an existing model vNIC. When I select the check box for the VLAN under Edit VLAN, I get:

  Will result in a warning of non-fatal configuration for:

  Service profile [ProfileName]

  Reason: Could not find any operational uplink port that carries all the VLAN of the vNIC (s). VNIC (s) will be closed down, which lead us to disruptions of traffic on all the VLANS existing on the vNIC (s).

  We have currently VLAN assigned to the model, of which some are carried by a channel of port on our switch of production, the rest are carried by an Ethernet interface for our perimeter switch.

  This error occurs because no interface/PC carries all the VLAN assigned on its own?

  Am I missing something?

  Even if you have a port channel and a separate uplink Ethernet carrying all them VLAN which required servers, your vnic will only be pinned to the port-channel or the uplink Ethernet never at the same time, so if your vnic is currently pinned on the port-channel and the new VLAN is assigned to the Ethernet interface you may be seeing this error message. To resolve this problem, you must ensure that the uplink your vnic is pinned puts implement all the VLANS that you want.  See doc below

  I found in a forum, after a google search, when I change a vNIC model adding a vlan is a task which are not requires a restart of the host/blades.

  In this case, how can I managed to add the new vlan in the vNIC models? I have a total of 40 production VMware virtual servers distributed in these 4 hosts/blades.

  I deleted a vNIC and added a new vNIC in a troubleshooting session. The problem is that the server is picky about the MAC address due to licensing and now I would like to know if there is a way to recover the deleted vNIC mac address.

  Welcome to the communities.  I responded to this post in the AM, but it seems to have disappeared (back to maybe instant)

  1. identify the ESXi host the virtual machine in question feeds

  2. enable SSH on the host computer and the PuTTY as root

  3. navigate to the directory where the virtual machine is saved

  # cd/vmfs/volumes/path/to/vm
  Note: To determine the path your life of the virtual machine, you can watch the disc through the settings (vSphere Client), or run the following command:

  # vim - cmd vmsvc/getallvms | grep-i MyVMname

  4. to find the current and previous MAC addresses, run the following command:

  # cat./vmware*.log | grep MAC

  The output displays the date and time (in UTC) that each MAC address showed in the newspapers.

• Deleting photos, but it still says there are 900 MB photos.

  I just removed all of my photos in my iPhone 6, but storage has always said that I have photos for like 929 MB.

  The funny thing is that when I check iTunes, it says I have 355 photos taking 944MB. But I just removed everything from the phone by going to pc > iPhone > DCIM.

  Anyone know what these "ghost" pictures are and has a solution for the problem?

  I have not synced all photos from my computer to my iPhone and my iCloud and photostream are turned OFF.

  Check first of all, the album recently removed in Photos, which is a novelty after iOS 8.1. If it is empty you may have come across a strange bug where deleted photos are not actually deleted. To check what followed these rather strange instructions:

  • Go to settings/general/Date & time
  • Disable automatically the value
  • Tap the current date/time and roll back about 2 years
  • Click general in the left upper corner
  • Launch the Photos app and go to the recently deleted album (even though it says there are 0 photos)
  • It is full of pictures? If so, remove them
  • Return to settings/general/Date & time and restart the value automatically

• How to add a VLAN to a B200 M3

  I have a M3 of UCS B200, which is a Proxy of veeam backup server and I need to give it access to an additional VIRTUAL local network.

  There are several other blades with access to the VLAN and I can see it.

  Glen,

  You will need to add the VLAN for the vNIC on the profile of the blade in question service.

  If the vNIC is created from a template update, you need to add the VLAN model vNIC updated OR untie the vNIC to the model and make the necessary changes.

  LAN tab > policies > model vNIC

  Yes, is that what you mentioned, it's good in terms of activities you need to perform. However, I wish to add a few:

  (1) define him vlan on the UCS - except if you do this, that you won't be able to add to the vnic. More once you have set the vlan automatiaclly will get added to the list of trunk on uplink ports (unless you l2-disjoint set up)

  You can have the same vlan for all management, unless you have some traffic that you would not want some devices to see / meet.

  I configured the UCS chassis with 5 blades and installed the esxi on all five blades...

  I created a VNIC 10 per server and by now I have ip for esxi management by combining two NICs for and YEW is connected to the switch catalyst 2960. The uplinks are 1 Gig at the END and at the end of the switch... and I made these trunk at the end of the switch, all permitted the VLAN on the trunk link

  I have configured all the VLANS on during vNIC based on a model and all of those selected. vlan1 is the vlan by default & selected the same.

  Please help me to solve the problem... I got tired of all the means & could not able to find a solution.

  Do the same on your 2960 switches.  You see the mac addresses on the ports of 2960 connected for the UCSM uplinks?
