What are the symptoms you experience that lead you to believe that there are problems with the CPU and the RAM (or is it storage?)?

iPhone SE and 2009 Mac Mini server, 2.53 Ghz
Greeting:
I help my friend who has recently bought an iPhone SE 64 GB.
Everything works well, this comes in place, iCloud, connect etc.
He would like to use Mac to his back upwards and however,.
When iPhone is connected via brightening cable, 2009 Mac Mini server: 2.53 Ghz, 8 GB ram, (256 + 128) fusion GB SSD Apple/Toshiba.
Nothing happened - iTune does not see the iPhone.
I went to 'about this Mac' - nada.
I unplugged all USB devices - only iPhone was connected, try on all ports USB 5 - nothing.
I tried 3 different cables - nothing either.
Just curious if anyone had this problem?
It was the first time I saw it. However, it works on my Macbook air to 2013.

I have a Version of El Capitan OSX 5 years 10.11.3, processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5computer. It is slow and jerky. Any suggestions? I empty the trash. I have an external backup.
Update your software OS X v10.11.4.
Instructions here > How to upgrade OS X
If after the update is installed, you see always the same slow and jerky behavior, a Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help.
Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple > Shut Down.
After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.
As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.
Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot
On Safe Mode

1. Yes.
2. Yes. Any newer version of Mac OS X 10.6.8 is likely to be sluggish on only 2 GB of RAM.

On my 1 GHz PowerPC G4 Mac, I use Firefox 1.5.0.7, but Google says that they no longer support this version. My operating system is OS 10.5.8.So which is the most recent version of Firefox that is compatible with this computer and where I might be able to download it? Thank you for your help.
Firefox 3.6 is the latest version of Mozilla that is compatible with Mac PPC.
http://www.Mozilla.com/en-us/Firefox/all-older.htmlFor older Mac that are not supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6-7, try TenFourFox for PowerPC in performance Mac 10.4.11 and 10.5.8.

My wife has an i5 to 2.3 GHz MacBook Pro early 2011 and it worked like a slug. Ran disk utility and verified that the disk needs repair using recovery HD. What does this lead and what is the risk of losing all the data is there?
Even if it is very slow, you must make a return upwards before the race "repair disk". The risk of data loss is minimal, but do it anyway: Save and run to repair the disk.
As for what it implies - most of the time nothing more than simply sitting and waiting to do his thing.

Can I replace the memory and not to lose what's on the memory of the former? I have a Mid 2007, 20 "desktop Mac, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GHz processor, 1 CPU, 4 MB L2 cache, 4 GB of memory, 800 MHz bus speed. I have a backup device. A RAM slot is damaged.
You are confused of RAM and disk space available.
RAM stores information temporarily while the Mac is enabled and the application is reached. RAM replacement has no effect on the long term of your information storage.
The hard drive is where your information is stored in the long term. If you replace your hard drive, you need restore the information from a backup.
FYI, for your iMac, the maximum RAM is only 6 GB.

However, with only 2 GB of RAM it will be slow. Your Mac supports 16 GB (2 x 8 GB). I would minutes to replace a strip of 1 GB with a key of 8 GB.
This place sells compatible memory and provides installation videos. Macs are picky about the memory

You can also replace the HD with a SSD to improve performance.

I have a MacBook Pro 17 withProcessor - in 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (circa 2007). Running OS 10.7.5 (Lion). System indicates the computer is not compatible with OS later. Hardware can be upgraded to the latest processors and other components to make it compatible with the latest OS. I think that later models of Macbook Pro 17-inch with processors that allow updates. I was wondering if these can be swapped or if alternatives were available.
Only the RAM and storage (HD, SSD) can be changed. Everything is welded to the map logical and selected specially for the system configuration.
I'm sorry.
