  The "blink" code you describe in your first message would indicate a problem of memory - the code is not always correct, but I would suggest trying the following.

  First of alll, try a hard reset as follows.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the AC adapter and see if the laptop boots.

  If the foregoing not help, perform the following procedure.

  If you have several modules of memory installed, try the following - (Note: If you have only 1 memory module, try it in the other location available).

  In regards to the link below, delete one of your modules of memory and then see if the laptop will start.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still won't start, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to start.

  The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed from Page 52 of your & Maintenance Guide.

  Since the upgrade to windows 10 I lost my audio... can not play MP3 music and the system sounds don't work... wanted for driver sound card and found three recommended... each of them has reported a hardware not found... decided to reinstall the driver of sound card on my install of windows 7, as luckily I backed up all my drivers before moving on to OS10... even if it is installed, still no sound... removed devices and drivers and let the laptop reinstall after rebooting... do not know what else to try... do not believe that there is a sound muting function key that I do not know...   Since Friday, I have no sound on my laptop, no internal speakers or the headphone jack and the led of the button mute does not work, but if I hit the mute button, the symbol will appear on the "speaker" icon, and it disappears if I hit him again. • Pavilion x 360: no sound in my TV when I plugged in my HDMI cable

  Hello, I just bought a HDMI cable to connect my HP Pavilion x 360 on my TV. Unfortunately, I get only video on my TV but no sound. Audio only comes from my x 360 Pavilion. I am aware of the right by clicking on the volume icon and clicking on "playback devices" to defult cable HDMI or TV. Unfortunaly, it is not visible even after activating the devices disconnected and disabled. Please, someone help so I can get sound on my TV as well? I left a screenshot. As a reminder, my HDMI is connected on both sides, and I also disconnected and disabled visible devices. Thank you!

  On my HP Envy, there is a known issue, that the system still does not recognize the new connection, so you get no audio and video.  The solution on my machine is to connect the hdmi cable with the computer and the television to stop (or at less the computer sleep), THEN you will need to activate them in the right order - I think that this is TV first, then computer to find the live TV connection already when it starts / wakes up.
