2-computer limit is obsolete and unnecessary

It is not a question so much as a comment.   I find the limit of 2 computers to be off-putting and an obstacle to my workflow.   Maybe 10 years ago, it was common that an individual may be limited to two computers: a desktop computer and a laptop computer.  However, today with the plethora of streaming devices portable computers, PC, etc. available for most people, a rule of 2 computer seems a return.

Even more unbearable, it is functionally useless.  It forces me to go to 'turn off' one device and another, a useless waste of time and effort, turn on whenever I have to do.  It's like asking Netflix for permission to watch a movie on the TV downstairs instead of the TV on the floor.

I'm all for legitimate software purchase.  But Adobe, please.  This is my user name.  I pay hundreds of dollars each year.  Let me use it as I want to.

rant

I have four computers in my daily work. Five if you include the one at the office, I sometimes use for photo editing.

I have an almost identical setup.

Instead, I have to open a browser / go to the Adobe site / connect with my very long and complex password (ok, it's just me) / select my plan / access the devices section / disable / go back to the other computer / connect (once again, this password.) This happens whenever I pass devices.

That's what I'm not following.

Every Adobe application has a Sign In (or activate) / disconnect (or disable) in the menu and you do not need to retype your password.

Connect and disconnect activate Cloud Creative applications

On computer A, start Photoshop (or any Cloud application), click Help > Sign Out. The whole cloud is disabled on this computer.

On computer C, launch Photoshop (or any Cloud application), click Help > Sign In. The whole cloud is then enabled for use on this computer.

I'll leave the question uber for makers of Adobe to answer well I guess the main difference between the examples you cite and the cloud of Adobe is that banking etc., are software as a Service (SaaS) - that you change a few transactions in a time - while the cloud of Adobe's software installed locally. SaaS tools are usually a per seat license.
