• multitrack wav for 1,5 hour files record only 3 seconds long - lost audio

  I used Adobe Audition Mac CS6 version 5.02 build 5 a few days ago to record a conference of lawyers that I get paid to save.  I have been using to record multitrack and segments that have been about 1.5 hours of recording as stereo wav files.  During the second track record after about an hour, while the surveillance on phones and I look at the interface, the track popped out folder.  and stopped.  When I checked the file wav from this record, it is only 3 seconds of time instead of 1.5 hours.  I couldn't find anything useful in the trash or the location of the main disk cache.   A search of my hard drives for files created so far there isn't anything useful either.  I have auto save every 10 minutes turned on and I thought that hearing were the basic crash protection built in.  Is it possible to recover this loss of audio in a temporary file or cache somewhere, while the law firm that hired me will not tear me up like a pack of piranhas to lose audio they wanted to sell to their customers?

  Well, if you have been recording in multitrack view, it doesn't is not much of interest in research in the trash, or any kind of disk, because in multitrack mode, cache files are written directly to disk and no to any form of temporary storage. This also means that you will not find anything in the way of a backup. I'm afraid that if the files are not where you specified whether they are when you started recording, you have almost certainly lost. If you're absolutely sure he was recording for all this time, it might well be that the header of the file was damaged when he stopped, and that it is in fact a larger file that you have been led to think. The only thing that you can try with this scenario is to open the file in a .raw, provide the sampling frequency and type info and see what opens. • First Elements-hour video recording

  Imported only VHS movies in first Elements 8 one hour video. I would just point out specific, such segments that minutes 4-8 and export to a new avi file. After that, I might want to export minutes 12-20, etc.

  So far I got a cut and delete everything except what I save, save this file, and then import the original file again in the first and cut and remove everything except what I want on the next file.

  Another limit is the limit of file size of 4 GB for AIFF files, but you would not have reached this limit with only two hours of recording.

  I expect to buy a 8 GB Clip after a first study of the "rocket"! I'll use any Sansa I chose to record a three-day seminar which is also broadcast on a channel FM at the Convention Center.   1 hour of recording on the recorder of the Word takes about 180 MB.  Registration is 24Khz, 16-bit, 384 kbps mono .wav.

  Recording FM is stereo at 768 Kbps, so those who will be twice the size.

  It looks like the error of the operator here.

  You start by transferring on the entire record of the PRIVATE from the SD card to hard drive you.  Do not copy anything.  Don't rename, move or delete anything in the folder PRIVATE.

  In Premiere Pro, use the media browser to access this PRIVATE folder and dig a level or two until the clips appear.  Done this way, you will see only the first file in any clips split, PP not even will show you other files, let alone import them.  Then if you see inside PP, it means that you don't follow the workflow banned.

• NEITHER 9237 and SignalExpress

  I have a cDAQ-9174 with modules OR 9237 with SignalExpress 2011 for strain gage measurement. After a few problems and doing some research on this forum, I discovered that the minimum sampling frequency for the NI 9237 is 1613 samples/second. However, I need a sample of about 1-5 samples/second rate as my tests will be the order of 4 to 5 hours and record 1613 samples every second will make my too big data file. On the forum, I found these workaround solutions:

  Subset and resampling (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371268M-01/expresswb/subset_and_resample/) seems to be the most recommended, however I have a few questions about this. I selected a range of subset of 0s to 1s and then choose a resampling of 200 Ms. that seems to be the more manageable sampling frequency, but then I have a problem with the export of the data collected. I get a message that says I can't export to Excel, as the data are 'not continuous' and can only convert to text. However, the text file is not really useful as it breaks down the data in individual games and puts the time in terms of dt. For small sets of data, it seems that it would be possible to manually determine every moment given by point, but I will receive a large number of data sets. I have tried uncheck the "optimize to run once" but still not the same type of data file. What makes a kind of aggrivating, it's in SignalExpress data view tab can display a graph of deformation over time, that I need in Excel.

  Another recommendation is to use the 'Statistics' using the collected samples, then changing the number of samples to change the rate. However, I prefer not to use this method because it seems to imply "at x time, average of the latter strain is y" rather than 'x time, strain is there' and I want just the value of the strain at every 0.5 s, 1 s, 1.5 s and so on (although I guess that how that differ from the subset and resample method?).

  The last recommendation I found suggested to use an N-sample acquisition, set to read two samples and then set a delay of acquisition of post about 1000 m that would have been a nice solution, but it seems that SignalExpress impossible to compile all the samples to read a log file, that I have seen only two data points when I opened it in Excel.

  When I use the method that Mike designed, in my view, the VI sometimes lacks a time transition. This happens with the simulated data that I generate because it is possible that the rest is different from zero. For example, this can happen if the accumulated sum is 3599.4 s and the next RR interval is 1.3 s. Which gives the following sum = 3600.7 s. The conversion by multiples of the amounts of 3599 and 3601. The remains are 3599 and 1 after modulo division. None are exactly equal to zero.

  After the VI has been shut down and restart the VI took over running without problems. This kind of unpredictable behavior is very difficult to manage, I lost data in real time during 12 hours of recording because of this problem.

  The error has explained the issue.  The network had problems that led to the server being offline.  How to solve this problem is to understand what is meant by "real time".  It's just another way to describe a deterministic calculation.  In other words, the program ensures that everything will happen within a predetermined period.  Order things to be deterministic, they must be controllable.  The most obvious way to break the determinism is to prompt the user for entry.  As we cannot guarantee clearly not the user will respond within a given period, can no longer call the deterministic program.  In this case, we have a more subtle break of determinism.  Relying only on a network will break determinism.  It is not simply a way to ensure that the network is not getting hit harder than usual.  In this case, the network was down for a period of time long enough to raise an error.

  Here's where we get to fix things.  Once the error has been generated, the code to do with it?  The wire of the error is not used for anything else.  I expect to raise an error and stop the program.  Clearly this isn't the desired behavior.  So, why we do not use the wire for an error handling?  In case of error, you can connect the data locally.  When you cover the network, you can clear the log to the host PC that you usually use to collect your data.  This command removes the dependency of your network for the code works.  With the help of a more robust code solves the problem with the relatively easy error management.  Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing anyone here can do to ensure your network never loses connectivity.

  I too struggled to find the simple answer of any of this info - but it
  boils down to:

  (1) type "Cmd" in the start search box, this will open a black
  DOS command window - it will probably be already in your
  User name of "c:\Users\" directory

  Type 2) in CD AppData\Local
  (you should now show as in)

  "c:\Users\\AppData\Local)

  (3) type Attrib - r press Temp... Come in
  ... and that's it - Movie Maker must start now ok.

• Digital telephony Editor 3 install on Win7, but doesn't work

  I installed the software for this digital voice recorder, Sony ICD-P620, several times on several different computers.  He has always worked beautifully until the attempt to have it on my Windows 7 computer. I get a message of successful installation, but when I go to run it I get this message:

  Have you tried right click on the shortcut or the .exe of the program and selecting the option "Run As Administrator"?  If you decide to reinstall the program choose the option even on any Setup.exe.

  I have a search page and lead the table base, where the user can search for employees and update information. Now my question is

  (1) when the user did some research, say the search result contains 40 records and every hour 10 records is displayed (1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40).

  (2) user clicked on the link following (11-20) and selected to date button for an employee.

  (3) when you click Update, users can access the update page (I used pageContext.setForwardURL)

  (4) from there when the user clicks on the BACK button to update the page, I'm browsing back to the search results page. But here it's page is redirect to the first (1-10) records again.

  How can I keep search results when browsing page update?

  If I update some employees of 20-21 records and navigate back, my search results should appear again from 20-21 No 1 to 10.

  How can I achieve this?
