• Problem by combining selection tools in Photoshop CC 2014

  When I make a selection using the Quick Selection tool in Photoshop CC and then switch to the Lasso tool to refine the selection, it added to what I had already selected.  If I do the same thing in 2014 CC, as soon as I click on the picture with the Lasso tool, the original selection disappears.

  Review your selection options in the toolbar options of the lasso tool.

  Looks like cc has the value Add and cc2014 has the value New

  You could keep the option on new and use the SHIFT key to add to the selection.

  The circle selection tool is available by tapping and holding the icon of the marquee tool.

• Issue using the Magic Wand selection tool in Photoshop CS6

  I m following a tutorial to learn the basics of photoshop and I m stuck on the magic wand tool, while doing a very simple task. I'm trying to select the white background of the image and then pressing on delete to remove it and make duck yellow transparent image.

  But when I press the button remove key a window opens and the eyedropper tool is selected. And when I press DELETE, while the background is filled with the yellow color of the duck. Please look at the picture and let me know how I can fix this.

  This happens because you are working on the background layer which is special in Photoshop. What you need to do, is make a regular layer by double clicking with the ALT key or double clicking and pressing ok. Incidentally that's going to happen with any selection tool not only the magic wand. Hope that helps

  Make a selection with the marquee poster tool, oddly, has a few extra boxes and lines inside the selection. Highlighting a selection many times in a row, basically plant photoshop or at least makes it completely unusable for a few minutes. Even by selecting all and hit copy merged.   I noticed that pp CC 2015 is automatic by selecting the clip below the playhead constantly (therefore the effects controls change whenever the cursor is).  Useful sometimes, although I have not found a way to disable this feature.  Anyone else having this?

  Under sequence menu, uncheck select read head follows. This has been added with the new Lumetri panel color workflow and is enabled by default if you have this Panel open.

  I'm in a strange problem. Tool for the quick selection of my Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is missing. The magic wand is there. But there is no small black arrow on this topic, click and move to the quick selection. There is no way that I can use quick selection. Press the W button opens only the magic wand. I believe that my software is broken. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling software and use custom and made sure all components have been selected during the installation, but it does not help. I tried the regular Setup Install 7.0 as well as creative cloud. For both, the quick selection tool is still missing. If someone could help me solve this problem, it will be very useful.

  Correct, there is no quick selection tool in Photoshop version 7, The Cloud Creative offers three versions of Photoshop.  Photoshop CS6 version 13, CC Photoshop version 14 and CC 2014 Photoshop version 15 all versions have the quick selection tool.

  I would use the tool selection brush similar to PES and rather QUICK selection brush. Is the simple selection brush in this version, or is it possible to add it somehow? I'm bored of my brush "to draw exactly where you want the selection to be!"

  You can put the selection in a layer mask and make as many combinations of paint with the Brush tool, refine edge, ect you want. Also, if he is not enough contrast to the quick selection tool, a tip would be to go to the Panel layers and find the channel with the most contrast, then push the contrast adjustment curves.   And the edges are a bit smooth, you might try the pen tool.

• First Pro 2015 - selection tool has changed

  I just upgraded to first Pro version of 2014 2015 and it seems that the selection tool behaves differently than before when you drag the end of the clip in the timeline panel.  In the previous, when I click on the end of a clip and make the left or right, I see the current image of the video I've been hanging out in the program monitor.  After the upgrade, I can see that the selection tool is acting very differently.  He will show me a split screen in the program monitor where one side will be the current image and one side will be a still image.  However, sometimes it will show the current image of the track I am expanding, but other times, it seems that it is showing me the current frame from another track.

  It looks like to the deployment tool behaves differently, it sometimes shows the current on two separate tracks, but when I'm doing drag a clip that is not the top then follow I will see only the top rail.  I'm unable to find ways to predict what the new rules are, can someone help me understand these changes?  Also, is it possible to go back to the way that it used to work because I saw no problem with it.

  2015 has added Composite overview over Trim, which is enabled by default. To return to the previous method of edit/trim, go tot the timeline panel, click on settings (wrench) timeline view and deselect Composite overview over the filling.

  Well, defined bosses are in fact repeat patterns, that is why your seeing what looks like multiple images of the same thing.

  This means that if you try to cover a larger area than the initial size of defined pattern, the pattern is repeated.

  What you could do is to make a selection of the area you want to fill the (flower) pattern with and go to layer > new fill layer > model

  Use a combination of the scale slider, then move the model on the image until your happy with the set up.
