Hello Aneesh,

Could you please recreate the connector using the following procedure:

1) go to the ColdFusion2016\cfusion\runtime\bin directory and run wsconfig as 'administrator '.

(2) remove the connector for this site

(3) add the connector

    I made an update of the test CF9.0.1 + CHF4 installation and then updated on web servers remote IIS 6, running 32-bit wsconfig.jar application pools. IIS connections to servers remote backend ColdFusion failed; I stepped back to old wsconfig.jar

    Wsconfig.jar that is updated with ColdFusion 9 Update 1 does not work with our IIS6 web 32-bit application pools; older wsconfig.jar [JRun 4.0 (Build 108795) JRun ISAPI Extension - August 29, 2009 11:51:27] work with the 32-bit application pools.

    Question: can I I safely old wsconfig.jar on 32-bit IIS 6 application pools run [JRun 4.0 (Build 108795) JRun ISAPI Extension - August 29, 2009 11:51:27] CF 9.0.1 + CHF4?

    Hi Scott,.

    Thanks for posting your request.

    What is your ColdFusion installed as 64 bit or 32 bit?

    Yes, you are right that there is difference of Wsconfig utility 9.0.0 CF and CF 9.0.1. However, you can still use ColdFusion 9.0.1 with 32-bit AppPool. You must make some changes manually to make it work.

    When you create the connector with this utility, and if you're running 64 bit CF 9, you will need to replace the 32-bit dll in the wsconfig folder to your workinig app that uses 32-bit AppPool.

  • You will need to upgrade the ASP to run on Windows server 2008 and IIS 7.0 application.

    I have an ASP application developed with Interdev 6.0; part of .NET and using the time to design Windows server 2000 controls.

    I need to upgrade the application to run on Windows server 2008 and IIS 7.0 ASP. I find some compatibility problems.

    The part that I'm stuck at the moment is the creation of objects in the runtime that gives an error.

    : "800a01ad" VBScript runtime error
    Component ActiveX cannot create object

    Code:

    Set OF = Server.CreateObject ("DERuntime.DERuntime")
    Application("de") = OF. Load (Server.MapPath ("overall. (ASA"),"_private/DataEnvironment/DataEnvironment.asa")

    The MSDERUN. DLL is properly registered on the server with the correct permissions.

    What are the possible solutions outside the upgrade of all of the ASP.net project. ?

  • ColdFusion and Flex or just Coldfusion

    So an application I have puffiness worked for a few years with CF8 and Flex. It assigns tasks, appointmnts, rest, holiday of our operators. Operators open the app on their laptop or PC available. But we believe that this system is a little old and slow and we think that it needs more interaction with operators.

    An example of what we need. It would be nice if the operator can notify the application of changes in real time, so that another operator can be shipped for the backup. Operators also want their own space and communication channels.

    We want to make the system easier to use. If possible using Coldfusion only. With Ajax? I don't know if this is possible. Any ideas?

    In theory, almost everything you have done in Flex must be achievable using HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and ColdFusion.  The performance gap between the integration of Flex/ColdFusion and JavaScript (AJAX) / ColdFusion is not nearly as wide as it was at the time when ColdFusion 8 is out.  Having said that, without knowing exactly what Flex functions you use it is difficult to answer with certainty.

    The ColdFusion upgrade to the current version (version 11) is expected to provide a performance increase.

  • BC will finally include Coldfusion and/or Flex?

    My understanding is that BC websites are based .NET. BC sites will eventually include Coldfusion and/or Flex servers?

    After spending many hours of learning and construction based rich Internet applications using Coldfusion and Flex, hard to imagine a web site hosted by Adobe (BC) system would only be .NET.

    Hi Ahande2!

    Unfortunately not in the near future and at this stage.

    BC Sytstem is a SAAS (Software as a Service) and this system is a basic system of .net.

    You do NOT have access to the code on the server side so that you can not run any PHP, Coldfusion, Java, code .net on your sites.

    If you need custom features, etc., you can use the API in full expansion of the system.

  • ColdFusion and iSeries

    Currently, we use a WebSmart at large our database driven site. We have Apache running on an AS400, and our database is on the AS400.

    I want to move to ColdFusion and administer our Web site from Dreamweaver using ColdFusion.

    My question is, where the ColdFusion would need to run? We can use it on an AS400 machine?

    It is the simplest and the option supported. You should be able to connect to DB2 - 400, if any of the windows machine.

  • Running apache and IIS on SBS: 403 permissions problem

    I'm trying to run Apache and IIS at the same time on Windows SBS. I can bring up the screen of Apache from a terminal, but I get the dreaded: 403 Access denied. I hunted around a solution, but without much luck. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Update: last night, I was up so late trying to modify the config file that I probably have something messed. I uninstalled the apache and re-installed and set the listening port on 8080. seems to work now!

    one thing I found odd: on the server I typed the ip address of the server: 8080 and he woudn't access apache... but it would be like a localhost.

    in any case his works now... evidence that just posting something on this forum gets results ;)

  • Apache and IIS

    I am trying to install Apache on my win XP machine, so that I can use Msql, and PHP on a unix server.
    It will not install to teach Sam yourself CD, even on port 8080 with a manual start. Maybe it's because I have IIS running.
    Anyone has any idea if it is possible to have two servers installed, but only a performer?
    This it is, and I turn to Apache, localhost, IIS may be damaged in some way? Could then turn off the Apache and IIS under tension?

    Hello
    Of course, you can disable the IIS in Control Panel / administration / IIS, choice of web server and push the stop button, if you want to throw can push start button.
    in apache, there may be an ikon of plateau where you can easily stop and start the server,

  • ColdFusion and Flex

    Before the question, I want to give a bit of history.

    I started using DreamWeaver and Coldfusion to create simple applications for our employees to use. It started with simple applications that the end user entered data. After several years, I learned to integrate several systems (such as emails, accounts payable and our main software in this first site.) He slowly turned into this huge, disjoint site which doesn't have any flow to it.

    About 3 months ago I started to go through the whole site, and using css, I gave him a universal theme. I still don't like the look of it, it still feels disjointed. I started, last week, reading about Flex, but I'm not really a few things.

    I want to create a Web site that has a universal theme, is nice to look at, easy to use and is dynamic...

    Is that what I was looking for Flex?

    Someone at - it large Internet sites, using Flex, examples?

    Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

    In fact, I'd keep the coldfusion server. Basically write you your components in ColdFusion and call them from Flex. So you would create a remote procedure in flex that calls your CFC and it would return a query to tell employees etc. This marriage you gives the most flexibility because you can have everything you need available to Flex CF via your CFC. And if you're lucky, you have created your ColdFusion to migrate using CFC application, so you can reuse them.

    The extent of the Apollo. Apollo is a totally new environment to create rich applications. The palyer Apollo is much more functional that it allows for system access, format PDF, Javascript, HTML etc. So, if you are limited by Flex and you can use Apollo. However, this requires the application installed on the client computer. Not much, but Apoolo is very powerful. Check it out.

  • Instance to many Sites (SEE 11 and IIS 8.5) - distributed mode

    Just topped with a huge bump out the new configuration of server and got distributed, put Mode in place.

    In IIS, site goes to FC 11 server, but the CF server is configured to use {cf_home} / wwwroot directory as root by default for pages.

    We work locked recommendations, web sites on another partition and organize multiple customers on a single instance of the CF.  That is the question, not sure how to twist the whole upwards so that only IIS passes the requests on ports at the CF server to go to the correct web code base.

    Let me try to illistrat:

    Web Server ColdFusion Server Code based on CF Server

    IIS/Site1 InstanceA P:\websites\Site1

    IIS/Site2 InstanceA P:\websites\Site2

    IIS/training3 InstanceB P:\websites\Site3

    IIS/SITE4 with for InstanceB P:\websites\Site4

    I think having to write a connector for each site seems a little too much, but if that's the way it is done then this is how it is done.  just seems to me that CF server know that this request came is different from the port, maybe IP of the IIS site that may be directed to the correct code base.

    BUT even once, I don't know so why ask here.  One suggested is welcome and thank you.

    OK, just to take notes for me since I'm the only one following my post. (yuck yuck)

    [instance]/runtime/conf/server.xml has been changed in the node AFTER

    ...

    I've added the number N of , one for each virtual host, we wanted on this Instance of CF:

    The URL address of the site

    I just wanted to post a response to the problem, just in case others are facing problem in the future.

  • CF 11 Enterprise install App Server and IIS 8.5 on Web server (different material)

    Hi all.

    Facing a problem of configuration to set up here.  We have the application inside the firewall server and we will have on the DMZ Web server and this web server has to forward the requests to the server see

    I installed cfusion instance HTTP Port 8500 remote Port 8010 host is a local host, with no cluster.  We will have other forums as a result of a port in addition to HTTP and distance on the line.

    So now the question is how to run the connector.  If I run the embedded {cfroot}/cfusion/runtime/bin/wsconfig.exe, it shows localhost as server applications, well, the web server must be IIS, but on another IP address NOT this server, so that the OK button remains grey.

    You would think that you would need to run the connector on the Web server, right?  Well, I do not have CF installed on it, nor do I intend install on my web server, so how do I get on the Web server connector.

    I read a post on taking a wsconfig.jar and pulling the DLL and others, but it is with JRun 8 CF, CF 11 and not IIS 8.5.  Maybe it's the method that I need to follow, but seems to be the new land that has never been displayed in the CF community.  I like to think I'm 'special' but really?  I'm the first to have this set up the configuration, and no one has posted a BLOG about it.  Looks strange OR I'm totally missing something.

    Please let me know any suggestions on how to move forward.

    Running on window server 2012 R2 for CF Application Server and the Web server.  CF 11 E update 3.

    ColdFusion 11 environment distributed for connector with all sites:

    1. install ColdFusion11 on the other server.

    2. Once you install CF11, then copy the jar file "wsconfig.jar" from this location C:\ColdFusion11\cfusion\runtime\lib on the IIS server.

    3. configure IIS in the other server. You need to enable the following features at the IIS level only.

    ISAPI extensions

    ISAPI filters

    CGI

    ASP .NET

    5 ColdFusion11 server to connect to the Web server via the Port connector, which is located in the server.xml file. You can find this file in the C:\ColdFusion11\cfusion\runtime\conf, once you open the file server.xml, this is the port that you want.

    Example: -.

    6. Once you check everything in ColdFusion server, then return to the IIS Web server computer.

    7. the wsconfig.jar file which you copied in this server, rename the .jar to .zip file extension an excerpt it.

    [8. create a file with the same structure here magic C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\{Magic_Number}--[nombre would be 1, 2, 3... n]

    {9. now go to the extracted folder wsconfig and check this isapi_redirect.dll, copy the DLL to the folder C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\{Magic_Number}. If you have 32-bit 32-bit copy if you have 64-bit DLL and then copy 64 bit DLL.

    Location of the DLL in the extracted folder

    The 64-bit IIS DLL is located in connector\isapi\intel-win64\prebuilt\amd64\isapi_redirect.dll

    The 32-bit IIS DLL is in connector\isapi\intel-win\prebuilt\isapi_redirect.dll

    10. in the same folder of magic_number create a 'isapi_redirect.properties' file and copy this content. Now, the location and the magic_number might be different.

    extension_uri = /jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll

    Log_file = C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.log

    LOG_LEVEL = info

    worker_file = C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\workers.properties

    worker_mount_file = C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\uriworkermap.properties

    iis_buffer_enable = true

    ip_restriction_file = C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\iprestriction.properties

    AUTH_COMPLETE = 1

    11. create another file 'uriworkermap.properties' and copy the content slot

    / cfformgateway / * = cfusion

    / CFFormGateway / * = cfusion

    / flex2gateway / * = cfusion

    /flex2gateway = cfusion

    / cffileservlet / * = cfusion

    /*. CFC = cfusion

    /*. CFC = cfusion

    / * .cfc / * = cfusion

    /*. CFR = cfusion

    *.cfswf = cfusion

    /*. SWS = cfusion

    *.jsp = cfusion

    *.hbmxml = cfusion

    12. create another file "workers.properties" and copy this content

    Worker.List = cfusion

    Worker.cfusion.type = ajp13

    Worker.cfusion.Host = localhost

    Worker.cfusion.port = 8014

    Worker.cfusion.max_reuse_connections = 250

    13. now go to a folder that is C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig and copy the "cfwin32.dll". Location

    wsconfig\connectors\installers\intel-win\prebuilt\cfwin32.dll

    wsconfig\connectors\installers\intel-win64\prebuilt\cfwin32.dll

    14 create a file 'wsconfig.properties' and copy the sub content. Number of bits could be changes to 32 bit if you use the 32-bit environment, this file contains site information and the IIS connector. I created this article that you configure the connector with ALL IIS sites, so set below will work.

    1 = IIS, 0, true, "", bitness64 "

    1.SRV = localhost, cfusion

    15. now that we have created all the files and folders. We will add the IP address of the machine ColdFusion11 if IIS can communicate with CF11. There are 2 places to add the IP address.

    a. "workers.properties" file, where is written "localhost" replaced by the IP address and

    b. "wsconfig.properties" where is also said to replace localhost with the IP address of the machine ColdFusion11.

    16. now we must work on IIS services manager, then start the IIS Manager. We will make any changes to the IIS server and when we restart IIS, it inherits all the mappings Manager and filter ISAPI in all sites.

    17. click on the server and then click handler mapping. Add a script mapping and Add .cfm, .cfc, .cfml, .cfr, and .cfswf managers and then point it to this DLL. C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.dll.

    Click request restrictions, select Invoke and select the files and folders, and Ok. In the right pane, click Edit feature authorization select run.

    Example: Ask the path:-*.cfm

    Executable:-C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.dll

    Name:-cfmHandler

    NOTE: Add these Manager you will use not all add them.

    18. click on IIS server and select default Document and add index.cfm as default document.

    19. click on IIS server and select ISAPI and CGI Restriction, select Add and 'ISAPI and CGI path' 'C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.dll', Description "tomcat_All". Check Allow extension path to run and press Ok.

    Click on change the function parameter in the right panel and check both boxes.

    20. click on IIS server and select the ISAPI filters and add a filter name 'tomcat' and the executable file "C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.dll".

    21 now, add you a virtual directory to each site else it won't work. To add a directory virtual right click on your Web site and add a virtual directory. Alias name "jakarta" and the physical path "C:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\1\isapi_redirect.dll" press Ok.

    Follow this step with the same Alias and path even to all Web sites.

    22 restart the IIS service, and run any ColdFusion page. It will work.

  • Using ColdFusion and get "Internal Server Error" instead of the ColdFusion error page

    I'm using IIS7 with Windows Server 2008 R2. I have 11 ColdFusion set up and running. Everything seems to work fine except when I have a coldfusion error, I get an error message in IIS instead of ColdFusion. I get the generic 500 - internal error from the server instead of the ColdFusion page telling me what is the problem.

    It is a new installation on an empty server. Nothing else is running on this computer, and nothing else has been charged.

    In ColdFusion administrator, I have the checkboxes for "Enable robust Exception information" and "enable request Debugging Output" checked.

    If there is no error on the page, the page works fine. Its hard to debug when I don't see what is wrong if there is a typo or something.

    Thank you.

    You must uncheck the box for "Enable HTTP Status Codes" under Server settings > settings in CF Admin.

  • CF8 and IIS 7 URL Rewrite MOD

    We are migrating our servers SEE 2003 to 2008.

    The old servers use IIS6 with MOD rewrite URL Helicon

    We now want to use IIS 7 with IIS 7 URL rewrite MOD (because it's free and our other .NET servers are using it).

    I have set up sites on our new server and created some rules of re - write, but they don't seem to work.

    It is not that ColdFusion must somehow "support" rewrite, IIS does all the work long before whatever it is either handed over to ColdFusion. Personally, I used the exact configuration that you repeatedly, then Yes, it should work absolutely fine.

    I would start by using just a basic html page and set up a rule rewriting to map to the other. Once you know that it does not work at all, begin to expand your rewrites.

    But yes, it will work, because there is nothing to do with CF itself.

    The same problem.  I use iCloud for Windows 5.2 and Windows 10, 2016 office.   Everything worked well for several months until a few months ago, when sync calendar has stopped working.   I've updated iCloud of 5.1 to 5.2 but that just killed altogether.  Tried uninstalling icloud and relocation costs.  No luck.  When the iCloud settings appears, I check the box for the calendar and Contacts.  The driver then disappears.   I check again and it sticks.  But no messages on 'configure '.   When I close and reopen, the box is unchecked.   A few days ago I had the same problems the other another thread where he would show "set up" spinning forever (well, 30 minutes before giving up).   Not sure if it's an Apple problem or a problem of office.  But this is of course a problem.
