23 Android SDK bad cameraUI displaystate return air

Using the Air 23 on Android sdk with normal displaystate (ie. not full screen so that the bar appears at the top of the Android app), call cameraUI.launch (MediaType.VIDEO), a video recording and during the return of the record the displaystate change fullscreen when the upper part of the app is covered by the Android bar at the top - is a solution for this? The return of video recording, tried to set the displaystate to normal, but not work, top app is still covered by the Android top bar.

Hello

We tried your code to our end using stage.displayState after returning from CameraUI, and it's normal. The upper part of the application begins after the status bar and there is no overlap in our side. We have added a clickHandler to check the stage.displayState-

public void clickHandler(e:Event):void

{

trace ("click handler");

trace ("\nStageDisplayState:" + stage.displayState);

}

And it is followed "normal" when we return in the registration form.

Thank you

  • Know what Android SDK is used for compilation

    Hi, I wonder if there is a link any documentation or something that we can easily see what Android SDK has been used in every AIR SDK to compile the .apk files? For the moment, I need to know what version of Android SDK has been used for AIR SDK V23?

    Hi Hadi,

    Please go through the release notes below and refer to the upgrade of the Android SDK section:

    We always have the same version of Android SDK for AIRSDK 23.

    I am one of my apps Android AIR of CS5.5 to animate the portage.

    I can't download it to devices that run Android 2.3.x versions. The problem seems to be that by default what android SDK of AIR conditioning with Animate is version 20, but the devices running Android 2.3.x seem to be stuck on the AIR 19 runtime. I downloaded Android SDK of AIR 19, but when I tried to switch to it using 'manage AIR SDK... "I get an error message saying that I can't upgrade to a version of AIR lower than the preinstalled version. Still, I have many users using devices that run Android < 4 versions and won't leave stranded. What can I do to fix this?

    Yet can the old way to overlay a term I used in CS5.5, be used? I never tried to superimpose an OLDER version of the SDK on CS5.5, then perhaps it would not have worked either.

    In the part of the descriptor XML app Android, you can set the minimum level of SDK, like this:

    This has been very convenient for the times where I wanted to make sure someone is on Android 4.0 or later. But it may be worth trying as a way to override the default used by AIR. You can try to use the 9 or 10, depending on whether you think that your users would have at least to 2.3.4.

    Or, do not worry them, they always take advantage of your old version.

  • Why Android ask me to install the AIR runtime...

    Why don't the emulator ask me to install the AIR runtime - then he moved?

    Thank you

    Robert

    If you use adb, run adb and have it add the Air runtime for your emulator (for example, emulator-xyzw):

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\adb s emulator-xyzw install F:\Downloads\AdobeAir\AdobeAIRSDK\runtimes\air\android\emulator\Runtime.apk

    Your order will be different.  However, it won't much, if any, shorter, unless you add the adb to your system path.  If you navigate to the directory where you extracted the Adobe Air SDK (AdobeAIRSDK\runtimes\air\android\emulator\Runtime.apk), you can use:

    ADB-s emulator-xyzw install Runtime.apk

    If you use adt, you use something like:

    F:Downloads\AdobeAir\AdobeAIRSDK\bin\adt - installRuntime-platform android - device emulator-xyzw-package F:Downloads\AdobeAir\AdobeAIRSDK\runtimes\air\android\emulator\Runtime.apk

    If you add adt to your system path, and if you navigate to the directory where you extracted the Adobe Air SDK (AdobeAIRSDK\runtimes\air\android\emulator\Runtime.apk), you can use:

    ADT - installRuntime-platform android - device emulator-xyzw-package Runtime.apk

  • Android SDK?

    If you use Adobe Air to develop an app for Android phones, you will need the Android SDK IF you decide not to distribute through the Android Market?

    Yes, it's true that (for example), Flash Builder generates an APK file that you can download and then directly to the Android Market. The application can be downloaded on the market like any other application, will be installed and can be used immediately if the user has pre-installed with access to its AIR system.

    The only downside is that IMHO, there are still many devices that do not have AIR preinstalled. The user will then be asked to install AIR consumes some space of phone quiet. I ran into a permanent low space notification because the use of AIR on my HTC Desire, which is not the older phone and I don't really have that many apps.

    If you target more recent devices, it's all good. If you target the entire universe Android devices (even older ones, like the HTC Desire, Yes, it's already old ;-)) then you might reconsider your decision.

    But to clarify: AIR is secure future and Flash development for mobile devices is really good! Plus you get platform-independence, you can easily transfer your applications for iPhone and BB-Playbook.

    To build applications of MAF, you need to version SDK & tools 5 Android (API 21) as specified in the matrix certification here. Once the application is built a deployment on a device, to the right, we support versions Android 4.0.3 &, this information is provided in the matrixcertification duration.

  • Oracle ADF Mobile - Android SDK problem

    Hello

    I use Jdev11.1.2.4.0 with ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.4.39.64.71 EQUIPPED. While I'm deploying application in the Android emulator more precisely Android SDK Manager 22.2.1.

    I got an error like.

    CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified in android "C:\Program Files\Android\platform-tools\aapt"":;

    of this error. I got to know, aapt is not in the path mentioned during execution.

    But see my configuration below. I loaded different directory.

    Location of the Android SDK:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk

    Location of the Android platform:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk\platforms\android-18.

    Little, I've observed, earlier we use ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.3.xx.xx. Now, we are updated to 11.1.2.4.39.64.71. And,

    Also AVG Antivirus installed.

    I did a few months ago before deployment. I force get this error.

    My basic questions:

    1. how to solve this error. ?

    2. I loaded different directory. Why is he trying to extract from another directory. ?

    More clearly... / Platform-tools\aapt is available in drive f but it is looking for drive C Program Files...

    Help me understand...

    During this time. I have goggled out, I got a link from Jobinesh.

    Binary: Error during the deployment of the CRG app for android - cannot run the program "adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140321\sdk\tools\zi..."

    This link is not accurate. But it helps me understand, I need to move the files to the mentioned location. But it is not sensible for me in my case.

    Thank you

    Kaim.

    You must use Oracle MAF instead of Oracle ADF Mobile in the future.

    Google continues to change the location of the files in their installation of SDK - so change between versions of the API of the location of the files.

    Make sure that you use the API right supported by your Mobile ADF or the version of the MAF.

  • I have a problem on AIR Android SDK

    I made a game with the help of Adobe Flash Professioanal CS6 - AIR for Android;

    I also published my game on Store (click to see), my app works on many Android devices with success (like: GM, htc desire 300, the Galaxy win, tab 3, etc.) but some devices Samsung could not run it. Above all, who have a screen big thumb. Example note, Series S Galaxy usually can't run, but the series mini S running with success.. tab 3 can run, but tab4 eror get (this app stopped working).  Galaxy S6 also get black screen :/ but a bit a lot of large appliances have stopped working eror...

    What would be the main problem?

    Thank you...

    I can verify that it does not work on the SGNote using the last Lolli OS5. It crashes immediately, I can not even a single Visual.

    Because none of graphic works an immediate departure, which suggests that you should carefully consider the startup of your application process. Things like, how are you OS details such as the size of the screen and what you do for use these pixels? You want to immediately call a Context3D or a StageVideo? If so, do you run good detections to see availability before you press the device? What I especially ask here is if you try to force the device into a context from the outset that you have not really given enough time to exist or tested for. Samsung is not known for giving the penalty and in fact quite the opposite, usually offer very forgiving environments with a lot of CPU/GPU/RAM to depend on.

    Any information you share on your process of creating applications will be useful. Including obtaining device and OS information, active handling screen orientation, contexts and initial loading.
