  Hi kxlara. Intermittent connection for wired and wireless is usually caused by a bad firmware. You updated the firmware version of the router yourself? Did you do a hard reset of the device as soon as you have made with the upgrade process? I suggest that you do. To do the correct reset, simply press the reset button on the router for 30 seconds while the unit is turned on. Release the button and unplug the unit. Reinstall the settings from scratch.  Hope that helps.

I inow have it configured to be wireless for two computers - it connects to my network and both computers can access. However, I was wondering if there was a way to add also a USB connection on my desktop so there is work computer to the printer when the wireless is not enabled. I don't always have the wireless and then I can not print from this computer, so it would be nice to have the opportunity to do both, if there is a way to do it.

  You need a USB cable from the printer.  Not just a USB cable standard.   Like this.

  You should just be able to run the installer and follow the prompts to connect the USB cable and it should work.

  Sorry, cannot be enabled by design.  That said, the devices on a network don't like the way that others are connected.  You can print from a wireless connection to a wired (Ethernet) printer and v/v.
