255:255 Lightroom 6.5.1 error message

Hello

After the reinstallation of Lightroom 6 on my second computer, I get an error message that the license limit is reached. I uninstalled the application without logging out of it. So now on my main machine, I am trying to sign of Lightroom and I get an error message disconnect 255:255 (see the screenshot). I wish I could reinstall the app on both my machine without having these error messages.

Thanks in advance,

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian

Please uninstall Lightroom from your computer and install it on the new computer.

Let me know if there is a question Lightroom activation on other machines.

Check the activation state, so it should be good.

Kind regards

Assani

When you try to access my library, I get an error message stating "bad argument #1 to 'loadstring' (string expected, got Boolean).

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and it always appears.

It may be a bad plugin. Try disabling all plugins, then by restarting LR.  To disable the plugins:

    1 file > plug-in Manager

    2. Select a plugin in the left column.

    3. in the right column, scroll down to the Status section.

    4. If necessary, expand the section status by clicking on the triangle to the left of the 'status '.

    5. click on disable.

  • Installed a Windows Update and now 5 Lightroom keeps showing an error message, and then exits.

Windows Update and now when I try to open Lightroom it gives me a message that says "Lightroom has encountered an error when reading it is an overview of the cache and will try again during the reboot" reboot is not good at all.

The problem you are experiencing is not related to an update of Windows. The preview cache is corrupt. You must use Windows Explorer or the Finder to open the folder that contains your catalog. Find the folder that has the extension .lrdata and delete the entire folder. Then, launch Lightroom as you normally would. Lightroom will be in the construction of a new Preview file and you should be able to continue normally.

I don't know the reason, but a lot of people have experienced this same problem. Take a look at the more "like this" list to the right of this message. It is more common than you might expect.

In your operating system, you find the Previews.LRDATA folder and delete.

The previews. Location of the LRDATA file is described in this file: http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/preference-file-locations-lightroom-4.html

Make sure that you delete the folder Preview and not the. LRCAT file.

  • 5 Lightroom "out of memory" error message

After using 5 Lightroom for several months, I started getting the message "not enough memory" during the action of export. He began to appear in a certain time, then it became more frequent and now it is in every single photo exported.

I wonder if this is related to the size of the library is the only thing that has changed in my computer since I started using Lightroom I increased the amount of pictures.

I've used up my hard drive with Lightroom and I store raw and images files updated the jpg in an external hard drive. Both have enough space and the size of the main memory has not changed since the beginning. I try not to run any other program at the same time.

I have seen that there are several threads on this subject he normally goes to the increase in the size of the memory, but it does not explain why initially export was done very quickly and without problem, and why the problem has increased over time (and with the size of the library)

Is there a way to manage the size of the library?

4 GB of RAM is marginal. Is your operating system 32-bit or 64-bit? 59 GB of free disk space could also be marginal. How space disc total do you have on the C drive? I use Windows 7, 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM and I shoot with a Nikon D90. My computer and Lightroom handle very well my raw images.

  • Error message when uploading the pic to Blurb

I tried to download a book for the last days of Blurb and get an error message and stop the download.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be wrong?

Other forum threads to read - BOOK problem export book Blurb - Lightroom Forums

The error message seems to allude, as suggested to Victoria, that there is some kind of physical problem with raw files

Also check the names of files that can cause the problem- Hi, I use Lightroom4 and I can't seem to make one of the photos in the book that I am trying to download on Blurb.  I used the same photo before in other books.  Any help would be appreciated.

special characters like slash and colon

  • Error message: "Lightroom can't access the internet, check your firewall and security applications. »

Hello.  I have an Acer Aspire under Vista 64-bit desktop.  I have an error message when I try to export photos from Adobe Lightroom on my zenfolio online gallery.  The error message reads:

"Lightroom can't access the internet.  Please check your firewall and security applications (Little Snitch, Norton, Zone defense,...) and add exceptions to the need to allow lightroom to connect to zenfolio.com. "

I, to the best of my knowledge, did in the Security section of the Control Panel, adding to the list of exceptions in Lightroom.  However, it did not connect.

I'd appreciate any help on this!

  • Error message from Lightroom

When I open my Lightroom, I get this error dialog box message...

"The Lightroom catalog called"Lightroom Catalog"cannot open another application already opened it."

Only, I have a computer and do not have mobile Lightroom anywhere. I've recently upgraded to the new version. How can I return the new version? I have to uninstall and reinstall?

The previous race of Lightroom has not successfully closed down.

Finder/Explorer, navigate to the folder containing your catalog (*.) LrCat). In this folder, you will find a file with the same name as your file catalog, but with a '. '. Extension of the lock. Delete the. Lock file. Delete NOTHING else.

  • Print the error message "Filter failed" from lightroom 4

On a Mac OS X 10.11.6 I try to print an Epson R3000 in lightroom 4, I get an error message "filter has failed." This started after I installed an epson P800, which works very well. I was wondering if lightroom has a problem when two epson is installed. The R3000 prints of other applications, just can't print photos of LR 4. Ask yourself if this problem would exist even if upgraded to LR 6? Impossible to get someone at Adobe talk to me on the phone re LR 4.

    Hi KathyBess,

This problem is related to the printer itself. Please see 'Filter' failed error when printing Epson | Apple official support communities

  • Lightroom 4 - Import Error Message "no files can be copied to the backup location.

Hi people! I hope that someone can help you.  All of a sudden, I get an error message odd when I import into lightroom 4.  "File could not be copied to the backup location.  I can click OK and continue to work as usual. I see my pictures, everything seems ok. When I export, backup works fine without error message.  I get nervous on error messages in LR.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

You have the option checked to create a backup copy of the images imported in the import dialog window? If you verify that your username has write permissions to the folded selected as a backup location.

Or just uncheck that option and test.
