  My antivirus - Windows Live OneCare - software does not open.  I tried to turn on Windows Defender for malware, but it crashes when I try to do.  Not only does iTunes opens, but neither a few other programs I have on my computer--mainly those who could help me to solve this problem, such as the restoration of the system.  When I try to uninstall a program - all - nothing happens and he refuses to let me try to uninstall anything else, insisting something is already uninstall.  And my computer can't detect my printer.

  My question is after editing and recording I'm unable to re - open the files.

  • When I first open the program I see all my recent projects and they are displayed as files PREL.
  • When I go to open them I get an open box that says "where is the file VTS_01_1.VOB.
  • When I click on one of the files, I get a message 'Add Media Failure'.
  • When I go to 'Properties' to view my files, the "file type" does not appear. This is why my file does not open.

  Anyone has any advice or tips on how I can fix this problem?

  I call customer service and don't receive any help because I use an older version of the Prime Minister.

  Pat,

  Your. PREL (project files) does contain any media at all - only the links where this media was on your system. If you have moved, renamed or deleted media, Parliament cannot follow its links. Something has changed. Given that you are referencing a VOB, you a get a DVD media in the multi player? If so, you will need to put this DVD in the player, to work with those ones or files. It is always preferable to copy on all media that are active on the computer HARD disk, and then the media to get from there, not from a source, like a DVD.

• Initial setup of TouchPad: device will not power on!

  This morning I received my new 32 gb WiFi HP TouchPad by mail. I opened the content and began to charge the device. following the quick start guide. When I plugged my charger microUSB button began flashing (alternating left and right). Then I went to class for a few hours a returned (4 + hours elapsed). I returned home to find my HP TouchPad with a screen empty and the central button continues to Flash as before.

  I tried to simply hold the power button (for more than a minute), holding power + Center (for more than a minute), holding power + several times by selecting Center, power + volume-to the top (usb mode), but none of these actions have given a different result. No low battery indicator, no logo of HP, still blinking Center button. I hope that the camera simply doesn't have enough charge still, but with each passing hour, I'm starting to think more and more that this is not the question as a whole.

  Everyone knows the same symptoms as me, and if so, what measures have you taken to get your device to start the first time? Also just to clarify, should I try the hard reset with the power connected yet? (This is what I tried)

  This diagnostic process seems quite useless, and it's starting to make me anxious. A solution of the community would be much appreciated before that I have to go visit my shrink for advice.

  I found a solution! (A very ghetto one at that)

  The cable for my phone HTC microUSB is slightly damaged, it becomes disconnected and can be shaken around when you are connected to the device easily. Using this cable, as well as the power adapter supplied by HP, I plugged the end microUSB for the TouchPad. Using the end of a pair of pliers, tweezers, I then supported the connector so that it would be flush with the device. About five minutes later, the backlight then on and displays the low battery indicator.

  I have attached a photo in case someone else has this problem in the future. CM9 here I come!

• PC with wireless card will not connect to the login of the user (Windows 7 RC)

  My PC uses a Rosewill (RNX-G300EX) wireless card with the software and drivers of Railink.

  With Windows XP (Pro) PC would connect to my home network and the internet on startup without user logon.  It is important to me because the data that I want to use on the network on this PC, and I don't necessarily want to have a user logged on to do.  I also have immediate internet access to connect remotely with TeamViewer, which worked perfectly with Windows XP.

  Since my switch to Windows 7 RC, I don't get the immediate connection through the wireless card.  It does not connect to the local network or the internet until a user logs on.

  Articles I checked:
  Driver - Microsoft actually already provided an updated driver that were obtained through Windows Update.  The driver for the wireless card should not be a problem.
  Power settings - I checked in advance for the power settings in Windows 7 and made sure that the wireless card has been set 'Maximum Performance '.
  Properties of the device - I have checked the device properties for the wireless card and made sure they were NOT defined to allow the OS to turn it off to save energy.

  I missed some type of parameter which is a novelty for Win7?  My computer with a wired network connection works fine with Win7 and is accessible at startup without user logon.

  First of all, thank you for the Mark test.  But the problem was not to have the connection when a browser is opened.  To open a browser, a user needed to be connected... with a logged-in user, the wireless adapter worked fine.

  Now, to answer my own question for someone else who might read this.

  I sent this message to Rosewill.  They advise that Ralink (spelled correctly this time) had not yet developed a good driver for Windows 7.  Windows Update apparently used a Vista driver and Windows 7 is apparently a bit different... or just Ralink is not cut with Vista either.

  So, I tried a Netgear USB wireless adapter.  BINGO!  The computer automatically start this device.  There is now a network connection to start.  TeamViewer now shows the computer as being online without that person may be connected.

  ANSWER: hardware
  RALink is a failure by juggling the time.  If you are looking to buy an adapter wireless network with a Ralink chipset, don't.  The link that Rosewill support sent me for the Ralink drivers was broken.  The Ralink site shows it as having certificate problems and IE8 does not recommend open it.  They are apparently dropping the ball.

  I'll buy a new wireless network adapter.

  For the last few weeks, I had a lot of problems with Firefox crashing. Whenever I try to open a new tab or load a web page, it will freeze.
