3.1 - 3 - cumulative S39?
Descriptions for sensor updates 3.1 - 3 - S37, S38-3-3, 1 and 3, 1-3-S39. all indicate that their prerequisite is to have sensors to 3.1 - 3.S31.
If this is the case, why the difference in the format for 3.1 - 3 - S39 file compared to the other two?
S39 has no update of the NSDB for IDM or VEI S39 update.
It's time to get delivered S39.
If you use the NSDB on IDM or use VEI, then you will need to:
(1) uninstall S39
(2) install S38 to get the update of the NSDB S38 and S38 VEI
(3) re - install S39
S39 contains signatures for the sensor itself (but not the NSDB or VEI update) S32 S33, S34, S35, S36, S37, S38 and S39.
If you use CSPM, administrator Unix or ID MC / s Lun, then you don't need to worry NSDB and VEI updates not being not. Since you will use the NSDB on your other management box, and you are not using VEI.
The NSDB S40 and S40 VEI update will be in the S40 Signature to update, for the sensor.

Hello
I'm controlling an engine step by step using pulses of (effectively) timed software to plant a probe against a flat surface, by varying its proximity. Voltage (for my setup) gradients are steeper near this flat surface, so I decided to experiment with the help of an exponential distribution (growth) of the pulses. Go from one pulse per increment (measuring station) near the surface of something like 30 pulses per increment of much more far where gradients are smaller.
I got the control itself work specifications (because it responds as ordered for the number of pulses sent) but I want to develop an easy way to track the total number of impulses, i.e. after 5 increments of say (pulses of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) on the 5th step I'll save 15 cumulative impulses. Maybe someone could provide a small example that shows how to do this.
Please note that this question does not refer to digital material / counting and I'm using labview v8.5.
Thank you.

Are Office 2010 Cumulative installed automatically updated from Windows Update?
I have Office 2010 Pro Plus installed on several machines, if they are installed through Windows Update hoe can you check the cumulative updates have been applied.
OK, gotcha now. [From a technical point of view, Office updates are only available via automatic updates if Microsoft Update (vs Windows Update) is the source of the default update.]

I was alerted to an automatic update titled "Cumulative Security Update for IE8 to Windows XP (KB2360131)." I think that he has downloaded, but whenever I try to install it, the process fails. In other words, I click on 'Install', initialization takes place and then it appears the installation, but it fails. No error code is given, only one window that opens to say "some updates could not be installed." I see that some 7 and Vista had problems, but does anyone have suggestions for XP SP3? Thank you.
Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself.
[You may want to print these instructions for reference offline. If a step said to reboot, reboot.]
1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).
3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all Norton software (including LiveUpdate and everything Norton Add ons)via Add/Remove programs.
4 IMPORTANT! -Online activate Windows Firewall immediately after the restart.
NB: Now you're "working without a net": no to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation, reading e-mail, chat) until you have completed step #7 below!
5. double-click on the file that you saved in #1 above to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.
6. do a clean install of NIS 2011 (using your product ID, if need be) & reboot. CF. http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080514162318EN
NOTE: Do NOT activate or install additional modules of Norton (for example, Norton Anti-Phishing) immediately.
7. manually and repeatedly run LiveUpdate (Norton) until you get a prompt "no update more".
8. open IE8 to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 & run the difficulty.
9. for good measure, also open IE8 (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & race that secure it in DEFAULT and modes and AGGRESSIVE. [1]
10. restart once again & test.

Cumulative update for Windows Vista...
There are several updates, called "Cumulative Security Update for Windows Vista" that whenever I have download interrupts me to use Internet Explorer 7. I have no problem download from this but find myself constantly having to uninstall these updates after installation. It's a hassle and they never go (which means that I always wonder to install). When I say cut, I mean I open the browser, but it gives me an error of loading of the page. I have a WiFi connection and make sure that I am connected, but it still says that I'm not. I also have problems with Internet Explorer 8, which after installation cannot be used because it gives me an error of loading of page and constantly suggests that I am not connected to the internet. I'd love to have my laptop Compaq in the shape of the top end and as secure as can be but I can't with these issues, and often, I decline to make the updates for this reason. If you can help me with these questions, because I promise you that I have did everything in my power so please do! If not, then I can live with this POS a bit longer ;)
Thank you in advance!
You should have (1) uninstalled Norton free trial, (2) download / run the Norton removal tooland then (3) installed Webroot Antivirus with Spysweeper (?) BEFORE the Norton free trial period had expired. (Too late now).

Cleaning a compromised system
http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc700813.aspxPersonal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows. Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) will NOT fix it!
HOW to do a clean install of Vista: section "If you want to reinstall Windows Vista by running a new installation...". "ofhttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-Vista
Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything on the next page before connecting the machine to the internet or one local network (i.e. other computers) otherwise and before using a flash drive or the SD card that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formatted:
4 steps to help protect your new computer before going online
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/pypc.aspxTip: After getting the computer fully patched, download/install KB971029 manually:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971029
NB: The Norton free trial will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You MUST uninstall the trial for free AND download/run the Norton removal tool before installing updates, Windows Service Packs or updates to IE AND BEFORE installing your new antivirus application (for example, Webroot Antivirus with Spysweeper).
If you need help, please start a new thread in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistarepair/threads
If these procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, good reputation and stand-alone computer (that is, not BigBoxStoreUSA or Geek Squad) repair facility.
