  This error occurs only when the Gantt chart task has no children. Am that I missign something? Do you have a solution for this?

  Problem is solved : it is because of the date of the parent task which becomes invalid when there is no task associated with child. The start date and end date of the parent was not valid in the Gantt Chart view. Corrected the parent task start date and end date.

• Chart display problems - cut off the end or shows not all values

  I have a file I/O reads database table where I can choose a date range to view history, and I can't seem to format correctly.

  If I set the width of the graph large enough to show all values, it cuts the right part.

  Width 1200, the value date of end 10/01/2014, shows only until September 24:

  Obviously, I want the best of both worlds - when the date range is selected, it shows all the values and fits in the chart area.

  Yesterday, I made a change to the header of my website using Phgotoshop image. I selected the header are in my PS layout, and then use the copy... Merge, I copied the image my Clipboard. Then to Dreamweaver 6 I used the dough and fill the dialog boxes and selected the appropriate directory to save the file. Looks great in the model! I saved the template and udated all html with the new graphics files. In DW6, I checked the index.htm file in Firefox, IE and Safari, and everything seems perfect. I have then all files htm updates downloaded on my web server and then on my site in Firefox. Graphic of old, then I purged the cache of all three browsers and checked again... NO GRAPHICS only the alt-text (the misspelling is following my attempts to correct the problem).

  I did all the steps again assuring you of my spelling, placement, etc., and always my site has a blank header where a graph should be. Any suggestions? Before this minor change to the chart the site is working since I loaded up it just before Christmas.

  The answer is very simple. The image is not in the location referenced in the HTML code. v4_Layout_orange.jpg is not in the folder photoshop_sliced_exports on your web server.

• Is it possible for a line chart display curved lines between the points?

  We have a demand interesting to build a line chart in OBIEE, where the points on the graph are connected by curved lines instead of the normal straights. The best way to describe it would be "serpentine". I saw this in a Cognos report, but I do not know if OBIEE for this. Maybe a setting in line.pcxml? Any ideas?

  Currently, we do not provide the organizational chart. Both options, you have to connect the dots in a line chart are either via a straight line or a curve of the step. A curved line would essentially be a form of a spline, with suitable smoothing algorithms.

• Image of XP SP3 not extending the full disk correctly or not displayed correctly.

  I use HP 7600 P4 2 GB, 40 GB HD PCs I have an image (XP, SP3) which included the "ExtendOemPartition = 1" command in the sysprep file. On some installs the image extends to the full 40 GB drive, on others it isn't. Readers who do not extend correctly shows only the image of the original 12 GB total size, but the title of the disk management, the chart displays the entire C drive extended to the total size of the disk 40 GB. So, on one screen, I see the C drive, listed as a 12 GB drive and a 40 GB drive at the same time.

  The only reference I could find for this was http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329826, and that seems to apply only to Windows 2000.

  So, two questions really. :
  1. How can I fix the readers to use the full drive space as it should. A solution that works remotely would preferably like some of the PC already delivered to remote locations. These locations are connected through the VPN and the stations are available with VNC.

  2. How can I prevent the same mistake from happening on future images? At the moment it seems random, and since we use identical hardware, I'm not sure that there are variables to check.

• Gauges and graphics are not displayed in the dashboard

  We have multiple users and each of them can see the gauges and charts displayed in a dashboard, with the exception of a single user. The user is able to see the reports of the table function, except the graphical reports. It's his machine (or internet explore), as we try to log on as different users on the same machine, we couldn't see the gauges and charts.
  
  Should what settings I check for this user on this subject?

  Well, the pressure gauges and charts I think use flash player... try firefox on another machine... or try to install flash...

• Dynamically set height chart flash?

  I have a flash chart which includes a selector that changes the query for the chart. Depending on what the user selects, the chart displays a different number of lines (is be a stacked horizontal bar graph, but this could be apply to any type of chart). I would like to be able to dynamically set the graphic height based on the number of rows that the query returns. If I put it is too small and that the user makes a choice that refers to a larger number of lines, the bars in the chart are compressed to the point where the labels are illegible or omitted altogether. Conversely, if I set the height to a higher value and the user makes a selection which results in a small number of lines, the list is too long and difficult to read.
  
  I'm able to calculate what I would like the height of the chart to be using a page element and one before the process of the header. But I can't understand how to pass this value to AnyChart. I tried to use an article of substitution (e.g., & P7_CHART_HEIGHT) as the value for the graph height on the graphic settings of attributes/Chart page, but this attribute requires a numeric value other than zero. I tried to understand if I could change the XML graph, but could not understand how do and I don't know substitutions is passed in the XML in any case.

  In "Table properties" sheet try to replace 'Legends Items in the grid' line to pass.
  If still does not delete the old graphic and insert a new and repeat the same.

  One important thing to note here is that PIE chart display only + ve values.

• How the graph data are resampled pixels?

  A test, I created two identical graphs with land areas 500 pixels wide and a noisy sinusoidal signal of 1000 samples.  A chart displays the waveform right, while the other got the results of the use of the function Arrray to decimate to halve the number of samples.  They are not the same.

  As you have noticed, the graph is a little more intelligent that you expected.  When the number of points exceeds the number of pixels, a form any resampling must take place.  A simple decimation as you tried would eventually pass some interesting points.  Instead, the outliers receive priority when selecting which points to display.  Strong in this way, peaks and dips appear even on a large scale.  Reproduce this behavior yourself can be tricky.  And once you reduce the data set, the points are gone and zoom is not as effective.

  Usually, I try to let the chart to do as much as possible.  A simple and effective way to reduce the size of the data you have to ship on the network is to use the SGL precision instead of double precision.

• Alignment of cells WPF graphics intensity

  But in my case I have this... cells where data for some aligned reason with numbering Center brands.  As a result, the edge squares are only half of the other places (red squares show this issue).  Is this a setting any?  It's a simple table 6 x 6.  Thank you!

  I am having a problem with a PDM file playback and display a graphic in the shape of wave in LabVIEW.  My table of waveform display always the time with a negative offset of 18 000 samples.

  Who make it simple, let's say I'm sampling to 1000 samples per second, and I connect my PDM data. When I read that PDM and visualize my graphic waveform data, the chart display data read from DDHN 18 seconds earlier that the registered wf_start_time, set a deadline for the PDM.  If my wf_start_time is 08:00:20.000 AM 12/02/2014, then my waveform displays a start time of 08:00:02.000 AM 12/02/2014.  Even if I taste 4000 samples per second, my start time is disabled starting 4.5 seconds earlier.

  I put my Xscale.offset = wf_start_time it reads properly, but the start time on the waveform table is always false.

  Because I'm dealing with large TDMS files (500 MB +), I sometimes decimate the data to view it due to problems of memory. Here, this problem occurs again.  If I decimate the data to display only 1 out of every 10 data points, this offset is more changing by a factor of 10 x. ranging from 18 seconds to 180 seconds.

  Is this some sort of gap of stamp UTC/system clock time or something else?

  Looks like that I thought about it.  I copy - paste a previous screw waveform graph on a whim, I created a graph of waveform from scratch, and the lag problem has been eliminated.  It must have been an option or shift created in there that I couldn't see or modify.  But it's good now.

• Graphics to Spawn on a separate window, on request

  Hello everyone, what I want to do, is (due to the request of the user), show three tables of waveform (or more) in a separate window, but only when the user requests them, so they block the visibility of the main VI and honestly, I'm lost in the same where to start. They will have to be summoned by a Boolean button or something like that, appear in a different window (style dialogue VI or the such) and stay there until the user closed the window, while interrupting is not main code execution. Now the tricky part, they will have to be constantly updated, so the chart displays the histogram of the past seconds as it does now as one always visible (albeit, tabs) indicator, what would be the best way to do this? Could someone please point me to examples that do something like that, or what function or sub - VI style should I use? Thanks in advance.

  If your pop-up windows just display information, then the easiest way is to just your chart is a Subvi, which you normally call and then just show it's the front.  As stated in the joint.

• What is the level of output voltage of the NI 622 X

  There is no clear definition of the level of output voltage of cards X NI DAQ 622 in the spec.

  Are they drain open output? What is their level of voltage? The programmable ETC, voltage level is able to be configured to 3.3 or 5V?

  Look at the graphs on page 8.  This is not the usual way of Voh specification, but is is very informative. Other charts display different values from the DMV.
