32-bit Windows Imaging Component (WIC) download

I have reinstalled my software on my computer and I was instructed that I must download 32-bit Windows Imaging Component (WIC). There are many downloads with different extensions.  How do you know that one to download?

Hi Mary,

The Windows Imaging Component is available in different languages. The one chosen will depend on the language of your system. For example, wic_x86_enu.exe is English - United States, and the wic_x86_fra.exe is French.

  • windows 8(32 bit) windows 8(64 bit) update

Recently upgraded to windows 8(32 bit) to winXP, but now I need 8(64 bit) windows please how to download and install from the site.

During Installation, there is no option available for 32 / 64-bit version of windows upgrade. Please explain the procedure to do so.

    Hello everyone,

If you want to install Windows 64-bit, but you do not have DVD and you are currently running 32-bit Windows, you must download ISO to another PC running Windows 64-bit (for example from Windows vista 64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit), if you do not get another PC on any 64-bit Windows, you will not be able to download 8 64-bit Windows.

The link below, you can download Windows 8-64 bit (from Windows vista or 7 64-bit as I mentioned), you will need your activation code.

  • How to get the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to recognize a file bootsect on my XP 32 bit machine, if I bought Windows 7 64 bit?

Title says it all. I scoured the internet for an answer.

I bought Windows 7 Professional Upgrade with the discount for students. I downloaded the file .iso image 64 bit on my account "Downloads + product keys." I also downloaded Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to make a USB bootable for Windows 7. I ran the utility and everything worked well, but at the end of step 4, I received the message "files copied successfully. However, we were able to run bootsect to make the USB drive bootable. If you need help bootsect... blah blah blah. »

I went looking for answers and I found the troubleshooting for the show here: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool#ms_help_topics_at0
Next to Windows 7, step 3 says "is there an"additional download options"drop-down list."
I had that day, but then this:
    Step 4: "in the drop-down menu, select"32-bit ISO." »
This is not possible, because I bought the 64 bit version of Windows 7. All I see are the 64-bit .iso and .exe.
I tried searching through Microsoft answers and found that many other people had this problem. I tried all of the suggestions for workarounds in this thread. http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_install/problem-using-Win7-usbdvd-download-tool-concerning/37eadf15-85DD-4e56-A89C-fa0a3339b92e
The only solution I have tried was downloading the file bootsect from one source other than Microsoft.
Is it seriously the only way to make it work? To download a BOOTSECT FILE from an UNTRUSTED SOURCE? Come on, Microsoft.

If you purchased Windows 7 since the MS Store:

When you create a bootable USB device, I get an error on bootsect
To make the USB bootable, you must run a tool called bootsect.exe. In some cases, this tool must be downloaded from your Microsoft Store account. This can happen if you try to create a USB bootable 64-bit from 32-bit version of Windows. To download bootsect:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft Store account to view your purchase history
    2. Search for your purchase of Windows 7.
    3. Next to Windows 7, there is a drop-down list "additional download options.
    4. In the drop-down menu, select "32-bit ISO."
    5. Right-click on the link and then save the bootsect.exe file to the location where you installed the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (for example C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool).
    6. Once the file has been saved, return to the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool to create your bootable USB device.

If you didn't buy Windows 7 since the MS Store:

Follow these instructions to work around the bootsect error:

    a. download and install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool program, as described on theMicrosoft Store website.

    b. download a working version of 32-bit bootsect.exe . Here is a link to the 32 bit bootsect.exe:

    bootsect7600x86.zip
    From: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/54443-32-bit-bootsect.html

    c. Once downloaded, copy the BootSect.exe file in the same folder that contains the file ofWindows7-USB-DVD-Download - Tool.exe installed. This file in Windows Vista's default installation directory isC:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Apps\Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool\ (you need to look in XP)

    d. application of the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool as described on theMicrosoft Store website. The end result will give you a boot USB flash drive that contains everything you need to install the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

  • The download links legal work available on 32-bit Windows 7 ISO

Can someone provide me with a working on a 32-bit Windows 7 Home premium ISOdownload link?

I've looked everywhere, I have my laptop with Windows 7 as soon as possible. Tried it on windows 8 & wasn't satisfied...

Also, can I reinstall Windows 7, if I installed Windows 8?  The laptop is a second hand, he came originally with Windows 7. Although he has not provided with all the drives as stuff and recovery of Windows 7.

    Hello

There are different methods to reinstall Windows 7:

You can contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

Manufacturers that make normally for a fee.

Install Windows 8 could destroy this method:

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your laptop there should be a recovery on the drive Partition hard reinstall Windows how much you bought your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Them or us ask the right sequence of key.

Or download the correct ISO file and make your own drive and use the product key located on the COA sticker.

    http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-image-downloads.12325/

And Neosmart has instructions on how to burn ISO disk images using imgburn:

    http://NeoSmart.NET/wiki/Burning-ISO-images-with-ImgBurn/

The COA sticker is either or in the battery compartment on the underside of the laptop.

By using the downloaded ISO file method can require the Activation of phone.

If it does require phone activation, do not follow Auto guests, but hold on a real person explain as to what has been done for purposes of re-setup
