windows 8(32 bit) windows 8(64 bit) update

Recently upgraded to windows 8(32 bit) to winXP, but now I need 8(64 bit) windows please how to download and install from the site.

During Installation, there is no option available for 32 / 64-bit version of windows upgrade. Please explain the procedure to do so.

Hello everyone,

If you want to install Windows 64-bit, but you do not have DVD and you are currently running 32-bit Windows, you must download ISO to another PC running Windows 64-bit (for example from Windows vista 64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit), if you do not get another PC on any 64-bit Windows, you will not be able to download 8 64-bit Windows.

The link below, you can download Windows 8-64 bit (from Windows vista or 7 64-bit as I mentioned), you will need your activation code.

  • After that initial Windows 7 64 bit update later, unable to connect to services window or microsoft...

Just purchased and built a new computer at the beginning of March. Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit installed and ran the updates immediately. I realized last week that I couldn't connect to a lot of windows and microsoft services. are examples, IE x 64(but the regular one works?), zune Installer (just service does not work try again later), online help windows (cannot connect), but probably the most important is windows is a no go (gets and error message: Windows update cannot check the updates because the service is not running.) You may have to restart your computer)

Please help, as I said I'm under 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, the update I had seems to be KB979306 on March 3, 2010 (of course all my updates say March 3, 2010, but is the top of the list, so I guess that's the most recent).

Thank you for your time and any advice you can give.

I have Windows 7 Edition home premium installed 32-bit update. How can I upgrade to 64-bit? Will there be problems of validation so I re-install from scratch?

If you have purchased a retail package, it should include the disk for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Otherwise, you can download a backup copy at the following link and use the same product key that allows you to enable the 32-bit version. Its a possibility, you may need to reactivate by phone, see below for instructions:

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

No updates are not preinstalled. Updates happen that after you have installed the computer and once you're connected to the internet.

How to load auto repair/Advanced Boot Options / Safe Mode / in Windows 8:

The repair options advanced quickly into previous versions of windows are older there. So hit F8 at startup means nothing for Windows 8.

Here are the various ways to enter Startup Options Advanced in Windows 8 for the problems of starting no.:

The first two methods are used when the system does not boot to Windows (Boot (No questions)

    1. If windows 8 systems are hard two times consecutively then third stop it will automatically load a screen of recovery as shown below. Click on « see Advanced Repair Options»

Boot process Windows 8 became so fast that if you delay pressing SHIFT + F8 in less than a second so you will miss. If the advanced boot options do not come up on the first attempt, please try several times.

Although this method is the best way, that it seems not work sometimes. Many claim there was no such keys to load the Boot Options Advanced Windows 8, he has always worked for me.

Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

You MUST uninstall the trial for free and download/run the removal tool before installing updates, Windows Service Packs, or updates IE and before installing your new anti-virus application (which will require WinXP SP3 must be installed).

  • Windows cannot check the updates - C800044E error code

    Hello

Since yesterday, I get a notification icon in the taskbar indicating that windows cannot check the updates. If I click on the icon and then click on the button "check for updates" in the new window, the search end reports that an error has occurred and the error code is C800044E. This happens every time after the computer starts and when I try to manually check for updates.

The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit with OEM license.

I already googled for this error code, but none of the suggestions found during the search worked. Mode by default with no results, I installed the MicrosoftFixit50202 (have not tried yet aggressive mode). I ran the malware Microsoft Windows (without threats found) removal tool. I downloaded and installed manually the KB947821 update for vista, also without results.

The last successful update is dated more than a month previously, and I assume that at the same time, some important updates may appear. Can someone help me with this problem?

I've already solved the problem by using the system restore (I used a restore enjoyed a week point).

I'll answer your questions anyway, in which case this may help solve one similar problem to others:

    1 Vista SP2 (all updates important/critical installed as of October 1, 2010)

    2. Eset NOD32 antivirus/antispyware with current subscription. No third-party firewall (just the windows firewall).

3-4. I have never installed a Norton or McAfee application on this computer, but I'm not sure if a trial version of Norton AV is pre-installed with this computer (if it did, I removed it when I originally set up the computer - almost 3 years ago).

  • Windows cannot check the updates for Vista

Entertainment HP Pavilion Notebook - Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition.  Last month, Windows didn't install updates.  Went online - route taken to fix this - restore the system to an earlier date and no change.  Roxio Videowave no longer works correctly as well as other software problems.  Read reviews from customers online, but want to know if I need to restore my computer laptop settings before installing Windows 7?  I also use Kodak Easyshare and so-called Pinnacle 10 compatible according to what I read.  If please inform and let me know what I should do before installing.  Thank you very much for your help.

    * original title - Windows cannot verify the updates - error msg. Have Vista - thinking about installing Windows 7 to fix this and other miners some

If Vista is having a problem with updates there is a very small chance that the upgrade to Windows 7 will not solve the problem. A shop to factory settings which will certainly solve. However if you plan to keep all data and applications a restore to factory settings or Windsows 7 "Custom / Clean ' install means that you must first backup all your data to external media files, then after cleaning install you will need to reinstall all your applications.

  • Cannot install Windows updates (Windows cannot check the updates)

I have 10 computers networked with a Windows SBS11 server as a domain controller. The 10 computers, 6 of them are Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) and the other 4 are Windows Vista Pro (32 bit). All computers stopped Vista download of updates ago and which gives an error, the message "Windows cannot check for updates. When you try to check for updates manually or automatically that the error is displayed, but it should not be any problem with the updates are downloaded and installed on Windows 7 computers.

    I tried the following:

    -Ran the system update tool.

-Execution of Malware Bytes and Vipre Antivirus analysis in safe mode. No infections found.

-Disabled the firewall and restarted the search.

-Reset the proxy server using the winhttp netsh from the command prompt.

    -Restarted Windows Update Services.

-Ensure that the BITS Service is running.

-GPO update for Windows updates not be configured on computers.

-Change Windows Update settings to allow the manual update. Allowed for the updates to install, but after computer restart returned to the old settings and error appeared.

If there are any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate.

  • Error "Windows cannot check for updates because the service is not running.

I am using windows vista 64-bit ServicePack two on my laptop. I recently had to install new hard disks. Since then, Windows update does not work. When I check the updates dialog box appears indicating that Windows cannot check the updates because the service is not running. I used the Microsoft fix - it tool, and it recognizes that there is a problem, but cannot fix. History of the update is completely empty. I would appreciate any ideas on how to solve this problem.

    Please read this article:

Another suggestion is maybe disable the updates of Windows

    Reset.

    Activate the Windows updates.

    Try again. (Worked for some)
