38.0.1 cookie problems

Greetings,

How to maximize the Cookies dialog box? I just noticed that the layout of the options has changed, and the maximize button is gone. For example, if I click on Options > privacy, and then click the show Cookies button, I can't understand how to maximize it. The previous version had this option.

Shane.

The blog says "is made in the content of the space rather than as a separate window. Not exactly true - window cookies is always a separate window. The previous version had minimize/maximize buttons, but 38.0.1 does not work.

I can't leave a comment on this blog. Does anyone else have this problem?

Toggle "browser.preferences.inContent" fixed. I don't know if the parameters are going to survive the next update.

Thank you
Shane.

  • OAM ObSSO Cookie problem!

    Hello

Please go through the following scenarios 2. In the Iam scenario-1 do not face any problem and with Oracle Identity Manager SSO is achieved with OAM. When such as scenario-2, Iam, facing the question.

    Scenario - 1:

1 OAM is present on the Machine1
2 OHS and IOM have both lie on Computer2. (OSH for transmission by proxy the request to the server of the IOM)

    ProxyPass /xlWebApp < IOM SERVER > http://: 7001/xlWebApp
    ProxyPassReverse /xlWebApp < IOM SERVER > http://: 7001/xlWebApp

    3. form: http: / / < OHS HOST >: 7777/am_login_mod/login.html
    Action: / Dummy.cgi
    CREDS:userid password

    4. has created an area of policy to protect /xlWebApp

When Iam to access the http:// < OHSHOST >: 7777/xlWebApp, redirected to the form page and validates the credentials, able to see the IOM homepage. (SSO is successful)

    Scenario - 2:

1 OAM is present on the Machine1
2 OHS is present on Computer2. (OSH for transmission by proxy the request to the server of the IOM)
3 IOM is present on the machine 3.

    ProxyPass /xlWebApp < IOM SERVER > http://: 7001/xlWebApp
    ProxyPassReverse /xlWebApp < IOM SERVER > http://: 7001/xlWebApp

    3. form: http:// < OHS HOST >: 7777/am_login_mod/login.html
    Action: / Dummy.cgi
    CREDS:userid password

    4. has created an area of policy to protect /xlWebApp

When Iam to access the http:// < OHSHOST >: 7777/xlWebApp, redirected to the page of the form and give valid credentials, get the HTTP 404 error with the url http:// < OHS HOST >: 7777/dummy.cgi. (SSO does not).

Main difference I have noticed is:

In scenario 1, all three ObSSOCookie cookies, ObFormLoginCookie and JsessionID are generated (able to see in mozilla) but in scenario 2, Jsession ID is not created and the content of ObSSCookie is "Loggedoutcontinue".

Please suggest. I tried all the options, but not able to go forward with this issue.

    Hi Pavan,

Protect this URL in OAM and (I think) it should start working. In addition, is computer3 in your 2 identical computer2 to scenario 1 scenario? Otherwise, I do not know how, even your scenario 1 worked!

  • 17.0.1 cookie problems that were not in 16.0.2

It used to be in the previous version 16.0.2, I think now

    go to, who: -

Tools, options, exception was a place I could list all cookies

that I never wanted to see. I could find the cookies that I didn't

opening of 'cookies' and hand put in sources of cookies

    'exceptions' and blocking them.

So I have, by default, would only unlocked for valid cookies

sites on my system. I had a list of about 200 long of the unwanted sites

    sources of blocked cookies.

17.0.1 - bingo my exceptions list went bye and I found

Valid user ID appear on pages where I had not asked, I opened

17.0.1 retain the user name or password.

Then I found (in 17.0.1) that even if I checked the box to delete cookies (acquired by the absence of being able to block then) when I closed 17.0.1 that the tick was canceled by 17.0.1 and cookies remained.

    I want to be held
    (a) have no history
    (b) accept cookies
    (c) create exceptions and block cookes with this list of 'exception' and do not have this exception list deleted when I close 17.0.1
    (d) accept 3rd party cookises and keep them until I'm close 17.0.1
clear e history) but NOT the list of exceptions that I spent the time creating (and I don't know where they were / are stored).

What I see is no way to delete cookies when I left 17.0.1 because, if I check the box cookie in 'Settings' 17.0.1 clears the cookie tick when I close 17.0.1

    Thank you

In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

    • do not delete 'Cookies' and 'Site preferences.

Note that compensation "Preferences of Site" delete exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

Generally, there is no need to keep third-party cookies unless you visit Web sites that do not work without it.

Better is to let all the cookies expire when you close Firefox and make an exception to allow for the cookies you want to keep.

Note that if you reopen tabs automatically on a departure (show my windows and tabs from last time) that cookies from these tabs are stored in session data and therefore cannot be removed.

  • big problem with detection of cookies and javascript

So I try to detect if the user has javascript or cookies enabled. I need them to have both, but all the sites I found were terrible ways to detect these.

I'll start with my COOKIE problem. Even if I disable acceptance of cookies in my browser, I use cfcookie to create cookie.test and then check further down in the same script with isdefined() if cookie.test exists, it says it does! Now, I'm guessing that this is because coldfusion isn't actually create the cookie until the end of the loading page, so maybe it just treats it as a regular variable before the end of the page load? If I put the cookie and then do a cflocation to another page and check for the cookie, it does NOT exist. Now it works normally for me, but the problem is, when I do this cflocation to the other page I lose completely all the variables of my url that someone may have moved the page they are viewing. I have no way of knowing what are the variables URLs they're going.

The issue of javascript is basically the same. The most common method I've seen done a noscript meta refresh, but in ie 7, the user can disable meta refresh! Even if I used meta refresh, I lose all my variables in the url.

Is it possible to place the entire url variable string at the end of a url without even knowing what (if any) url variables have been set?

I could just cfparam variables URLs that could possibly have been submitted and then post with all THE of them, but there are hundreds, if this isn't really an option.

Help, please. I can't believe in the 4 hours of search I could not find an intuitive cookie or a javascript detection method. Thank you in advance, I feel like i "im going crazy because of this.

  • Skype says that my browser is disabling cookies even if it is not. I deleted all cookies and cache and disabled AVG temporarily - what to do next?

I can't sign in to Skype with my Microsoft account. I think I tried everything. I don't have any exceptions for all sites to tools > settings > privacy > history. Skype mode using Windows safe does not work either. I think that none of my modules affect this, but you never know, versions of Add-ons are all old. So should I update all the Add-ons? Or just switch to Chrome or something? I would not, Firefox has been great so far...

    Hi people
I had this problem just as apparently some of you have some. The combination is Microsoft Messenger, Skype and Mozilla Firefox and your MS Skype account. The process was for me stuck at the third-party cookies in my Firefox browser.
Which is what I asked myself the question of old age... What is Microsoft up to... Well I think that in this case, there is no unwillingness on their part AND is NOT a fix for Firefox... at least for my system.
The third-party cookie problem has been fixed for me... by opening the windows 7 control panel - Internet Options - Privacy - Options tab advanced and gone first to accept and control Third Party Cookies I checked everything else while I was there just for the just. My Skype works now fine with all my friends from the Microsoft's Messenger contact list. Go figure, who would have thought that simple.
I hope this helps at least some who encounter the same problem.

  • 'YouTube Cookies disorder' in Firefox on Mac 15

From yesterday when using Flash Video Downloader in Firefox 15.0.1 running on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7.4 2011 I started to have the dialog box next box when I try to download any video from YouTube.

    YouTube Cookie problem
To continue the download of youtube, you need to clear cookies for youtube.
You want to delete Youtube cookies right now?

When I click on the button for Flash Video Downloader in the menu bar I get this dialog immediately and clear the cookies makes no difference, the problem persists and I can't start a download. If I use the button at the bottom left of the browser, I can get Flash Video Downloader to bring to the top of the full window but all the videos seem to be n/d and do not show their size. If I click on the download in this window button, nothing happens and in the Firefox download window the file is size 0 KB.

This only happens on YouTube now and no other sites that I frequent. It also contains exactly the same on the old Mac running older versions of Firefox and older versions of Mac OS X, I searched for the last day and cannot find a single reference to this dialog box or this problem. Has anyone else seen this problem firsthand?

I already ran through the usual reset, update, deactivate, reactivate and disable any other routine and nothing makes no difference. But right after I post my question, I was able to download a YouTube video making that, just before I clicked the Flash video download button in the menu bar, I deleted all the cookies. The downloaded video then normally. If I make the mistake of click the DL with even an existing cookie then there is no way to solve the problem, it is a continuous loop of the dialog box and no way to fix without restarting Firefox. This is certainly a new subdivision and probably because of something, YouTube has changed on their side.

I don't allow cookies many remove them all a few minutes and always automatically remove when Firefox closes, but this behavior has begun in the last 48 hours and as I mentioned appears to be independent of my machine, OS, and browser version. It is limited to YouTube only however. I just wanted to post this because I'm probably not the first to experience this problem and I don't know others he will soon be seen. Thank you.

Several things can influence or impact on it.

    (1) you are in the scenario of several areas? If so, logout deletes cookies of certain domain only?

    (2) have you tried different browsers to see if it's a browser-cookie problem?

    (3) try running a browser tool (for example livehttpheader in firefox) and see if the server requests the obssocookie must be set to logoutcontinue. Check the store of cookies in firefox and see if obssocookie is present.

  • Safari can't connect automatically in Gmail

    Hello

I just got a new machine (OS X El Capitan v.10.11.5) to work a few days ago, and Safari (v.9.1.1) allows me to stay connected to my Gmail account, unless I connect explicitly out of it before you quit the application.  Other people rarely use my machine, but I still like to if ensure that nobody can accidentally discover my personal emails.

I did the following in the hope of preventing Safari to automatically log on the account:

-Safari Preferences > passwords > unchecked "automatically fill usernames and password.

-Safari preferences > AutoFill > all unchecked boxes

-Password is never recorded for account.google.com

-System preferences > users and groups > made sure nothing is listed under "Login Items".

-J' deleted all the history, cache, cookies from Safari.

The first time I launched the browser after that I deleted the history, etc., I was not logged automatically.  But when I closed the application without logging on the account, the same problem persists.

Are there other sources that I need to change the settings?  Any advice would be appreciated.
