• Equium A200-1VO - slow start with the Vista patch

  My Equium A200 takes a long time to start. I remember downloading a hotfix to fix this and it worked, but it has slowed down now to the top once again and I can't find the patch.

  Can someone help me please?

• Is it legal (and good) to deploy a custom with an installer Vista patch?

  First of all, sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. I was quite confused about the place where my question.

  Background

  I work for a software company that deploys a financial application approximately 3000 users. For money transfers, we use a third-party solution.

  This third party uses the Jet DB. The developer of this third solution has recently found a bug that was caused by a known Bug in Windows Vista, which, in turn, has been resolved with Vista SP2. Of course, there is a fix so (KB943509 ).

  To resolve the bug users must be vista sp2 or the hotfix.

  Questions

  1. We thought to deploy this patch with our next installation as a sine qua non. Is this a good idea?
  2. To download the fix, I had to check my installation with wga. If deploy us the patch, this check would not apply to users. This leaves wondering: is - it legal to deploy a patch from microsoft for windows for which users check their installation of windows?

• Vista patch for cp1700 printer - corrects recto verso and large Format Printing

  The printer large format cp1700 has some problems with the Vista drivers:

  1. Larger than the letter/A4 paper sizes are not supported.
  2. The last page prints upside down when printing in duplex mode.
  3. No support for the selection of tray, manual feeder or the additional option tray.  You may be able to allow selection of the status bar using the methods shown by Herbert de Smet here.

• Vista Patch... Third time is a charm no start after update

  I am running Vista Home Premium x 64 on a Gigabyte card with 4 GB of RAM. The last update applied to stop the system while I was with her and now the cycles over and over. When you try to start using "safe" mode initialization freezes on crcdisk.sys

  I started with the Vista DVD and after 30 minutes to finally get a screen that says choose the Vista installation, but there is never any listed installation.

  Obviously, the disc is available then why can't Vista see?

  It is the third time that this happens after receipt of an update.

  What measures would be to restore the system and let it boot normally because the recovery DVDs option does not work?

  Check disk believes that here is something wrong with your hard drive. To test, boot from a WinPe or another bootable media, delete crcdisk.sys reboot and yhe system32\drivers\ folder. Your system will go up to the right if there is nothing wrong with the drive.
