Just installed 4.4 upgrade and now can no longer import photos - lightroom seems unable to see

Any suggestions?

    Which page you are trying to buy? Sometimes searched for something like 'Buy Lightroom Upgrade' ends up taking you in a store outside the United States. Don't know why, but it's a real disappointment. you would think it would be easier to get Adobe to take your money. In any case, have you tried this page? Software & Services. Click on the link 'Buy' to the right of the name of the program and icon (do not click on the name of a hyperlink as this will take you to another page). You will get a drop-down list in which you can select full version or upgrade, the language, etc.. BTW, update option requires that you make a selection in another menu dropdown indicating what version you have.

    If it's already where you are and she always rejects your email address, you are sure that you are on a login page and not create an account page? Provide a screenshot if possible of the error you receive.

The number I entered is correct - I checked against the original package and on the products of my adobe account page, and I get the error message even if I try to enter the serial number of the version of lightroom 3 I had before. I am at a loss to understand what I can do: I paid for this product, but I can't install it. The only thing I can think is that the lightroom 4A was purchased from an old computer, but it has migrated successfully to my current imac, as surely, it should work.

    Problem is resolved now - it's due to my misunderstanding of what was required, and enter the serial number of the previous version (as an upgrade) instead of the serial number of the version I had to buy). My apologies for my mistake and thank you for your time.

    Try to uninstall the old version - it is not necessary.  An upgrade is a product independent and fully functional.

    I realized that I was working with Smart previews only instead of original images.

    Actually the HDR tab is not grayed out when I select the same images with the Original.

    Anyone from another havging this problem, I call in the adobe sales and they take my money for a 5 to 6 lightroom upgrade and they send me an update of lightroom 5.

    What kind of joke they get here?

  • Can not download the lightroom upgrade 6 [in French Polynesia]

    I live in French Polynesia and can not put (single-use) to lightroom from lightroom 6 5.  When I check it asks the upgrade isn't available here.  He invites a message to say that I have to change the country to the French.

The price of the poster the full price initially, but you can indicate that you want to purchase an upgrade and indicate the version you have. Then the price will change.     Ive tried several times to the Lightroom 4.4 upgrade (no other updates available) 6 on my Win 7 PC and that is a failure

    OK, so I worked on it by myself

    After trying many combinations and permutations

    I downloaded the upgrade executable on D... but extracted C payload

    He managed to find Lightroom 4 on D & upgraded.

    What a faff

    That seems obvious after the fact

    It would have been good to talk to a support person.

    but ADOBE has always supported my money every month to join the package for photographers (~ 10 Euro/month)

    Problems proved that since I upgraded to Adobe software AC 32 days ago in new versions!

    What should I do now, team Adobe?
