• Lightroom not opening not psd or Tiff files in photoshop

  When you select "Edit in Photoshop" Lightroom opens the normal Panel asking what to change, with adjustments, a copy or original.  When I click on 'Edit the Original', it begins the "preparation for the edition file" but nothing happen.

  It's open RAW files, but only if Photoshop is already open.  If the PS is not open it comes up with an error message saying 'the file could not be modified because PS CC 2015 could not be launched.

  Very frustrating because I continually update metadata from the files are not launched via lightroom.

• Lightroom not opening completely

  OK, so this morning I went to edit images in a catalog (150-200 images) Lightroom starts to open as usual. The start screen appears and displays all of the 'credits' as it would be nice to open the last catalog, and that's all. The startup banner never goes away. I down a restart and shut down (Windows Vista 64-bit) someone knows what is happening here?

  Try a fresh catalog to see if that's the problem. Hold down the Ctrl key while from Lightroom and it will ask for a new catalog.

  If this does not help, try to delete the file. Check this to learn more.

• Lightroom 6.0 does not open

  Hello, I bought Lightroom 6.0 in 2015 Dec (not membership of the creative cloud - just the application). I have used it very well, but do not have the last couple months. When I go to open the application, the wheel just keeps spinning with Lightroom front page showing version 6.0. Nothing happens and the application does not in fact. I thought to uninstall but don't know if I can re - stall it now. I know there have been a few updates to the 6.0 version, but because the application does not open, and I can't actually click on anything on the top tool bar of Lightroom, I don't know what to do. Help, please! Thank you.

  I signed up for the creative cloud last night and installed Photoshop and Lightroom on my new laptop.

  This morning there is an error message and now when I click on the Apps tab it shows the circle of rotation, and nothing happens.

  If I got through google chrome for my adobe page and click on the button to download a protocol request box Monte external.

  Y at - it an easy solution for this that I'm not at all technique and need to follow the simple instructions.

  Lightroom will not open at all - box comes up saying Adobe Lightroom has stopped working - problem caused the blocking of the work programme.  I can't right click or anything, just a blue circle goes round.   I have the photograph of Adobe (Photoshop and Lightroom) subscription. Lately, when I export a 16-bit image .dng, like a file PSD Lightroom exports in a folder, but does not open the image editor (Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop 9.5) upwards with the exported image as he used to do. The image is exported to the file choose export, but if I want to edit more in ACR or Photoshop, I need to open PS and then look for the folder containing the exported image to work on it. I discovered this problem today. I don't know what I could have done to make it. I have not changed my prefs... everything worked as expected last week (the last time that I exported an image)... to export an image as a PSD or Tiff respectively open the ACR or PS file and grew up in the version exported image in these programs.

  How can I restore Lightroom to open the image on the export of an image editor?

  The only way I can get an exported image to open it in ACR is to export the title Original or DNG.

  When you go to open the image in Photoshop, it will open in generic form of file without extension.

  When you save, you choose a file format, such as PSD or Tiff.

  My guess is that you used previously to export as Original or DNG.

  As part of the smart object, I do not use it and can't comment on it. But I see there is an option in ACR to open as smart object.

  Hi Lonesomedove,

  Please disable the graphics processor of the machine and then turn off in Lightroom preferences.

  Go to control panel > Open Device Manager > under the Display Adapter > search for graphics processor > right-click on it and disable it.

  Now open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  If the Lightroom works fine, then go back to Device Manager and activate the graphic processor.
