6215 connector

I use the USB-6215, USB-6211 in different applications.  Plastic connectors (lug screw) supplied with each box are not sitting very well.  My application requires mailboxes in a vehicle that will be driven on terrains for editing tests.  The boxes have what seems to be tapped on each side of each connector holes leading me to believe that there may be an alternative.

Y at - it a connector available alternative that offers a larger mount?

Thank you

Bob

All the:

Thanks for the replies.  AK2DM is right.  I was looking for a better way to fix the connectors.  The solution proved to be the "accessory kit' sold on the pages of 6211/6215.  The kit contains 4 connectors like the ones provided with the 6211/6215 devices, except that they have the ears of installation and the screws which fix the connector of the device.

Those who are provided with devices is unnecessary (kept falling even still sitting on my desk).  Him mate well with the camera and demanded a violin to contact correctly.  New in the kit of accessories are very expensive to ~ $20 each (~ $80 for 4 connectors, tags, a small screwdriver and freight), but I have not found any alternative.  In my opinion, they should be equipped with the 6211/6215 valves provided that the price is close to $1,000 per unit.

My new connectors should be here in a few days.  This should solve the problem.  Thanks again for the help.

Kind regards

Bob

  • Problem with smart connector

    Hi all

I use my iPad Pro for a while now with the smart connector. Today, however, I noticed that the Smart keyboard did not respond to my entry and I kept getting the error message "This accessory is not supported by this device."

When took a glance t the smart connector on my iPad I noticed some discoloration, almost as if it was burned. Can someone please help me understand how or why this might have happened? He never fell into the water or something else besides.

Ill put a picture below. Thanks in advance.

Hello. When electrical contacts carry the current, they may collect certain chemicals from the atmosphere. This does not mean that your air is bad, it happens everywhere. Try to clean the contacts gently. Be sure to check each on the keyboard too.

  • How to disable smart connector on iPad Pro?

I have an iPad with smart Keyboard Pro 12.9. I would use the smart keyboard without the keyboard. In the past, I simply covered the smart connector with tape. Is it possible to disable the keyboard or the smart connector so that I could use the cover without keyboard is still active?

No, there is no setting or control access to the smart connector.  It connects automatically whenever it is in contact with a compatible device.

  • Fluid was detected in the connector of the lightning.

I get a warning when my iPhone is plugged into its lighting cable saying 'Disconnect accessory lightning' "Liquid has been detected in the connector of the lightning" ' to protect your iPhone, unplug this accessory of lightning, and allow the connector to dry. "

The cable is as dry as a BONE, the phone has never been exposed to water, other than standard moisture. I have several cables, and it happens with all of them.

    Clues?

    Thank you.

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If the steps above do not help, you may need to test in an Apple store.

  • SOGo connector for Thunderbird

    Hi all

First of all, I hope that this question was not asked again; I'm sorry if this is the case.

In fact, after Zindus reached its end of life a year ago, I'm looking for a new way to sync my contacts, managed by Zimbra with Thunderbird.
In this context, I would like to know what the community Thunderbird SOGo connector for TB (http://www.sogo.nu/fr/downloads/frontends.html). In particular, why is this add-on not installable via interface of Thunderbird?

Thank you very much in advance for your help,.

    See you soon,.

Safety is always a difficult question to answer. Certainly the stuff to Add - ons.mozilla.org (AMO) go through a process of code by the moderators control it. But source code is everywhere and the review is effective to the person conducting the review the day. SOGO is an established project open source, so if security is really something to worry about, you can always hire someone to browse the source code. That's what AMO. On a personal note I don't have a lot of concerns about the safety of SOGO simply because it is open source, the code can be examined and it would be a brave project hat would mess in their own nest with malware etc in their package.

However, the connector is only a part of the package of SoGo, a tool to connect to their server of groupware software. A live demo which can be accessed here http://www.sogo.nu/tour/online_demo.html the fact, that it can be used for other things is really just a bonus for the community as a by-product of them use standards based protocols.

On a practical level several antivirus editors insert anti-solutions modules Thunderbird when you install packages. Here's what your informal appeal as well (they are not on AMO). Given that many of them intercept and decode encrypted SSL communications, I'd be more concerned that they have a backdoor to three letter agencies and I would be on the sogo connector. My trust in the internet privacy died a long time ago! but I still trust free unless there is some reason not, simply because the source code is available.

  • Connector MagSafe 2 no connection & heaters

I recently bought a replacement authentic (with connector MagSafe 2) 60W MagSafe power adapter for my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) of Apple, after my original power supply frayed and is become a little dangerous.

I have the new adapter to power for a long time, but I was starting to have problems.

First of all, it takes about 5 or if the attempts of connection and disconnection of the latter before the light orange light / my Macbook will start loading. I Googled it and I tried to reset the system without result management controller.

It's embarrassing, but this isn't necessarily the main issue. The big problem is that the charge connector is getting very hot. Too hot to touch (and probably elsewhere Regulation!) after it is been connected for some time. In an attempt to stop this, I cleaned the connector and the port, but once more, it didn't stop him.

If you have solutions, I'd love to hear and thanks in advance!

  • poorly supplied power connector

Just got my thunderbolt and macbook pro screen, but a little puzzled that the laptop power connector that comes out of the back of the display unit is for a macbook not a macbook pro (see photo below of the Web page) - confused.

Am I missing something? I don't remember when put my order together that I had to say anything... Do I need an adapter?

Well, the MagSafe connector was used by the old MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, but Apple MagSafe 2 released later and recent Macs have more than the connector. However, you can get the MagSafe adapter MagSafe2 to use this port, assuming that you have a MacBook Pro with the Retina display.

  • Does not recognize iPad Mini Flash 'female' connector cable

Cannot load my Ipad Mini.  Tried to load it with three Apple different lightning charge connector cords.   Well all worked until today.  Seems that the female end of the connection does not recognize the plug more.  Misfortune.

If you are referring to the port on the iPad Mini, I suggest that you use a flashlight and magnifying glass and see if you find any dirt, debris, fluff, etc... Those who can prevent good contact with the cable of the lightning. You can use a small wooden toothpick or a small dry toothbrush to clean, and then try again. If you still have a problem, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to the nearest Apple Store to have the Unit looked at.

  • Connector 6 / lightning iPhone

    Hello

    I own an iPhone 6.

In recent months, the connector of lightning was always Moody and erratic.

It got to a point where I have to pull HARD lightning cable into the iPhone and play with him so it will connect and fresh.

Then a pray that there is not even a shot of mild wind passes around the iPhone, or will be interrupted.

I tried to clean it with the cotton bud and blow it with compressed air, but nothing helped.

I also tried several cables of lightning, but obviously, the cable is not the problem, it is the connector on the iPhone 6.

Is there anything I can try?

    Thank you!

Take the time to use a magnifying glass and a flashlight. This will allow you to deepen the port easier. Then use a toothpick to see if you can dislodge any dirt, dust, lint etc.  The way you describe forcing the connector into the port, you can very well have force debris in too far to be deleted.

You may need to take an appointment-Genius Bar at the Apple Store nearest to have the device examined. It is the port that is damaged/non-functional, then the phone will be replaced.

  • I can't get my keyboard connector cable to go into the slot

I am trying to replace my Macbook Pro 17 "keyboard of the computer after a most unfortunate incident of beef broth. I installed the new keyboard but cannot get the keyboard connector Ribbon to enter the bus connector. I lifted the barrier of pinching the back connector and others, but when I try to move the Ribbon connector will not ride in any fair and other kinks in the opening. Rather than throw across the room as I am currently considering is anyway to run the cable into the connector, so I can lock the bar top and finished the replacement?

  • iPod Touch 5 Gen - iOS 9.3.1 lightning connector issues - with accessories

Has anyone seen a problem using iOS 9.3.1 on an iPod Touch 5th generation with lightning connector devices?  Specifically, I use the iPod in a cradle of scanner which connects via the connector of the lightning, until iOS 9.3.1 the cradle was visible to the application, but once it has been updated the scanner loses communication to the iOS device and application.  IPod charge and connect to iTunes, no problem, but refuses to see the cradle, I have another iPod on an older version of iOS, which connects to the cradle even without problem.

To try to find, I've updated the iOS to 9.3.2 beta fault from the site of the developer, this problem has now fixed the issue with the cradle.  I can't that assume Apple broke the connection in iOS 9.3.1?

Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility with accessories. Since then, he has worked with next beta which seems to be the cause.

All yo can do is to continue using the beta until the version is rejected in the pubis.

Have reported the problem to Apple to ensure that the beta version is not yet revised to cause the same problem?
