  Photoshop Elements 10 does exist only in 32 bits. There is no 64-bit version. However, the 32-bit version will be installed and run OK on a 64-bit operating system.

  If you are running 64-bit Windows, then first things 64-bit installs automatically. 32-bit first Elements 10 will not install on Windows 7 64 - bit, or 8.

  Thanks for the reply with the details of your first items 4.

  H.264.mov is supported format for my first Elements 4 on Windows 7 64 bit. It is generally accepted that the AVCHD (MPEG4 AVC/h.264) was not supported until that first Elements 7.

  I began research for a sample of the Canon SX50HD download online, but could find a. I found one of SX40HD. The sample was

  H.264.mov 1920 x 1080 @ 23.976 progressive frames per second.  In first Elements 4 on Windows 7 64 bit, I went with the the project preset 1080i30 NTSC HDV HDV (1440 x 1080 HD anamorphic16:9 which is stretched by the 16:9 1920 x 1080 for a view after the encoding).

  The file imported into first Elements 4 without problems. And, I could export it as 1920 x 1080p23.976 H.264.mov in the section actions/Personal Computer / QuickTime program, customizing default preset label button/video put forward of the preset.

  At this point, I don't know if your results of generic error for the import of the SX50HD H.264.mov was related to:

  a. do not have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with first Elements 4

  b. SX50HD H.264.mov is a different way than the SX40HD H.264.mov

  c. other

  Although later versions of the program will be more features and defaults preset according to formats and cameras later, I'm not convinced that you cannot not acceptable edit and export your video sample of your first items 4.

  If you have made the timeline or out of a movie from the trial version, it will have this watermark on it.

  Once you have purchased and activated the software, you can remove the watermark by going to the folder directory on your computer where your project files are saved and deleting the folder Adobe Premiere elements preview files.

  If you have 64-bit computer to Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 and first elements Windows 10, 11, 12 or 13 installed on one of these computers, first item runs as a 64-bit application in 64-bit system.

  A quick and easy way to prove that you must click with the right button on the taskbar of the computer, select Start Task Manager/processes and look at the name of the open process of Premiere Elements (.exe file).

  If the 64-bit process, her you should not see anything after the name of the exe file

  If the 32-bit process, you should see the name of the exe file with * 32 at the end of his name

  If you want to spend more time, you can download and install process Explorer of Sysinternals

  Yesterday, I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements and first 13 items of Office Depot store.  I was finally able to download and install the elements of the Prime Minister.  Download 13 Photoshop elements, but it will not be installed.  Towards the end of the installation of 35 minutes (which I did 8 times) I get a message saying it will not install and I need the 64-bit version.  There was not an option for versions 32 or 64 bit when I did the download.  How can I get the 64 bit version without having to pay for the product again?

  When I try to install Premiere Elements trial version, I get the message "sorry an error has occurred."  The application could not be installed because the Installer file is damaged. Try to get a new setup of the author of the application file.

  Hi can someone advise if the Sony HDR-SR12 camcorder is compatible with 64 bit Windows 8.1? The site compatibility 8.1 win was not clear.

  Can anyone adivse whether AVCHD files can be imported from the drive hard Sony HDR-SR12 or appropriate in Adobe Premiere elements 11 memory cards? I could not find the camera listed as supported, but may not have looked in the right place.

  Can anyone confirm if the AVCHD files can be imported from the HDR-SR12 in Corel VideoStudio Pro X 7? It seems to me that they can.

  Hoping someone can enlighten before that I spend over $ 500 on a second hand unit that I'm very interested.

• Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version won't complete installation

  This one is makes me crazy, everything first, here are the specs of the system on which I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version:

  Core 2 Extreme QX9650

  Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6

  Patriot Viper 4GB DDR3 1800 Dual Channel Kit

  Gigabyte GV - R4870X2 Radeon HD 4870 X 2 2 GB video card

  Zalman 850W PSU

  1 WD Raptor HD 320

  WD 640GB HD 1

  Now the problem, I had been running Vista Ultimate on the above system and I built a new system I put Windows 7 64 bit on and I liked it well enough to spring for another copy of the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I backed up all my files on an external hard drive and put it on the side to ensure the guard. I then install the new OS of all wipe out to get a clean installation fee. Everything was moving along fine until it came to the point where it was finished installing where it seemed to hang for a while but it was finally restarted, but from there he should have me screens for the key code and my info to enter but I got was a black screen and yet my cursor was there and I could move around. I waited a bit and nothing past that was far from the ease with which it is installed on my new build. I restarted and it took me to the screen where you can choose to start windows in safe mode or normal mode, I tried both ways. Only, he went up and then stopped. I thought that maybe I had a damaged disc, so I got out my new computers Windows disk to see if it would install and I thought that if that was the case I had a damaged disc, but he did the same thing as the disc I tried first. Then I went back to my Vista disk and this 'thing' installed as there was nothing for her. Needless to say I'm stumped on this one.

  Any ideas on what I should try next?

  I should have gotten back sooner, but I finally got the problem fixed. I went to a new ATI video card a 5500 series and Windows 7 installed without a hitch. I downloaded the latest driver for cards in time, and it has been fine since. I hooked it up to my HDTV via a HDMI cable, so I can watch the DVD and Blu - ray movies. It works like a charm. Problem solved.

  I guess you're on 64-bit Windows.

  If so, the easiest way is to go through your C drive.

  If the program is installed in the directory C:/Program Files, it is a 64-bit program.

  If the program is installed in the directory C:/Program Files (x 86), it is a 32-bit program.

  I just noticed that I use a 32-bit version of 12 items.  Does anyone know if there is a 64-bit version?  (I remember reading somewhere that this is the reason why they got rid of the 'Magic' of version 11 puller, because it's in a 32-bit format, and they were re - write for 64-bit.)  My Panoramas take an excessive amount of time and use only a small part of my computers resources.
