750 247c: 10 Windows on HP desktop computer provided with W10

I have had one for 5 downloads NÍVIA. The first 2 downloaded OK, and then, it seemed to cling on the download and installation of update NIVDI. Now, I can't even anything stand despite the fact that he tells me I have 3 updates pending. It's happened where I couldn't get all of the updates. Now I have 3 updates pending and can't even see them. Him are listed, but do not appear in a list.

Earlier today, I did a restart of the computer and updates from HP 3 appararurent in the HP Support Assistant again, and I then installed 2 updates that had nothing to do with NVIDIA. They have installed OK. I then deleted the update for NVIDIA and rather went on the NVIDIA website and downloaded the driver there and then, now, that everything is up to date. I lost a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong, but now all my updates are made and things are running smoothly.  I got in trouble once before with the updates shown on the HP Support Assistant, then they should make sure that all the provided updates will solve the problem. I can't really notice any difference from before that updates have been installed, but it should help the computer work better. You to do and ended up happy with things.

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers site!

Right-click on the zt.exe file and choose "Run as Administrator" to launch the program.

See if you are able to play the game.

If this does not work, turn your computer to clean the start State and see if the fgame plays very well.

To put your computer in a clean boot, follow these steps:

Note: If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

I would like to point out something that you may not realize: Windows 8
has two interfaces; the modern/Metro Interface (which may be all the)
you have looked at) and the traditional desktop Interface. You can use
    one or both.
This traditional desktop Interface is almost identical to Windows 7
interface; the biggest difference is that there is no Orb start
Click to bring up the start menu. But note that you can get the beginning
Orb back using one of the many third-party programs, either for free or
    very inexpensive (Classic Shell to)
    http://classicshell.sourceforge.NET/ and debut8 to
    http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/; my personal preference is
Debut8, but they are both very good).
And going from one interface to another is very easy; There are
several ways, but simply by pressing the Windows key is perhaps the
easier. Just install one of these two and using the traditional
Desktop interface may be a better choice for you than go to
Windows Vista. I use Windows 8, almost exclusively with the
traditional desktop interface and start 8 installed. If you were
to view and use my computer, you would have a realization of wireless trouble
    is not Windows 7.

I also recommend to read "how to make Windows 8 or 8.1 watch and.
    Want Windows 7 "to http://www.howtogeek.com/elk/298/45121/4206

has been woundering if ill have problems if I try to load vista on a laptop comes with windows 8 already on it

Note that you need to do a clean install, so lose
all data on the drive and all installed programs.

Also note that (especially with a laptop), you may need Windows Vista
drivers for it, and they cannot exist. So before you try, remember to
Check with the manufacturer of the laptop that Vista is performed on it.

  • Windows 7 on desktop 603

I bought an Acer AXC-603-UR10 that contains a Pentium J2900 processor, which is part of the Bay Trail-D family. Like many other people, I fell on the support forums Acer seeking an update of the BIOS that will add CSM or start-up "inherited", which allowed me to install no UEFI, operating systems, like windows 7, or those of the BSD family.

In response to the desire of customers Acer to use an operating system other than Windows 8, Acer support staff members have made many misleading messages, saying the Bay Trail-D processors do not support 'legacy' or start CSM. Meanwhile, other computer manufacturers are selling same Bay Trail-D processors that contain Acer with the CSM or legacy BIOS support products. Acer staff are inadequate, restrictive, BIOS can't handle not 'legacy' or start CSM, as being fully featured, blaming the absence of 'legacy' or MSC in charge, on the processors themselves, that completely wrong.

By Wikipedia - I would use a source more academically credible if I could find that one are six Bay Trail-D processors. Four of these processors are Celeron J1750, J1800, J1850 and J1900. The other two are the Pentium J2850 and J2900. There are many references to these processors supported in "legacy" or start-up CSM.

Here are the efforts of the community to resolve the problem created Acer, Acer decided not include "legacy" or MSC startup in products containing Bay Trail-D processors. The guys are red to an earlier version of Acer BIOS which supports "legacy" or start-up CSM:

Page 35 of the Dell Vostro 20 all-in-One 3015 owner's manual indicates "legacy" or mode MSC is supported for processors of Bay Trail-D same exact containing the Acer 603:
    http://topics-CDN.Dell.com/PDF/Vostro-20-3015-aio_Owner%27s%20Manual_en-us.PDF

Once again, Bay Trail-processors D, which can be seen in the product page of the Dell Vostro 20 all-in-One 3015, legacy Dell Media or boot CSM:
    http://www.Dell.com/HK/en/business/p/Vostro-20-3015-AIO/FS

As per the evidence posted above, Bay Trail-D processors support in effect "legacy" or MSC mode, despite false representations of Acer support staff. Acer customers shouldn't be locked out by using the operating system of their choice and mislead to believe that the processor that they have purchased does not support this operating system. I never saw a computer company deceive its customers by blaming inadequate BIOS, they released a line of processors. Acer needs to lie to their customers and release an official BIOS update that takes in charge 'legacy' or CSM starting immediately.

  • OK to transfer my Windows 7 on another computer after installation of Windows 10?

I have a desktop running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium and a six-year-old netbook under Windows XP. Of course, I will more in line with the netbook, because Windows XP is no longer supported and updated.

On my desktop, I received notice from Microsoft for inviting me to book a free upgrade for Windows 10 upon its release. Once I have 10 Windows on my desktop computer, can I use my Windows 7 installation disc to upgrade my netbook Windows XP to Windows 7?

    No, you can't.

Because the free update is derived from a license of Windows 7 basic qualification, Windows 10 will bring this type of license too.

If you are upgrading a retail version, it carries the rights to a commercial version.

You will need to purchase a full version Windows 10 license for your Netbook:

How much will cost Windows 10?

Windows 10 will be free for the first year to all users of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and 8.1 of phone.

    Retail price of price information:

    Edition Price
    Windows 10 home US $119
    Windows Pro 10 US $199
Pro Windows 10 Pack US $99

  • If your computer comes with a hard drive of 32-bit pc will work better by adding another hard drive of 60 bits or transfer all files on the hard drive of 60 bits?

The pc is a hp pavilion a706n and windows vista ultimate.

    Hello

You confuse the version of Windows with the hard drive.

A hard drive is a physical device for Windows (operating system)
are the programs installed. When the data is created and saved which are written in the
hard drive. A hard disk is analogous to a wardrobe as a storage device.

Hard drives are not little dependent, which means that you can run Windows 32 or 64 on them
If the rest of the system is compatible with every version.

Windows can be 32-bit or 64-bit. But not all hardware systems can run both.
Many 32-bit systems cannot run 64-bit Windows.

Your computer came with at least a possible hard disk to add possibly
    internally, and certainly outside.

    WiKi - hard disk drive
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_disk_drive

As TrekDozer said that your computer cannot run as 64-bit Windows if you need to stay
with 32-bit Windows. However, you can add additional hard disks of extra disk space.

Check with HP support, their books online and the drivers, diagnosis, and
their forum are good sources of information from others with the same or similar
    systems.

  • Install windows 7 in Envy DV7-7234 with Windows 8 with win7 dual boot and windows 8

I can install windows 7 in Envy DV7-7234 with Windows 8 buth with dual boot: win7 and windows 8?

Installing Windows 7 on your HP ENVY computer Notebook dv7-7234nr is not supported by HP. In addition, no Windows 7 driver is listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads page for your computer.

HP does not recommend installing Windows 7 and it will support the installation of Windows 7 on a computer comes with Windows 8. HP doesn't provide drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not support some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.

Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

    You will need to DISABLE 'Secure Boot' and ENABLE 'Legacy Support' in the ' settings of BIOS ' settings below page;

Then, start Windows 8 and run the console 'disk management '. Using "Shrink Volume", reducing the size of the "C:" partition about half of its original size. Name of the partition "C:" to something like "Windows 8". Now, start the computer from the Windows 7 DVD, making sure to select "UEFI - internal CD/DVD" or "UEFI - ATAPI CD/DVD ' and not ' Legacy - CD/DVD internal."  (I recommend using a disc of Windows 7 SP1latest drivers have been included in this topic. The use of the SP1 disc usually resolves most disk hard AF and other issues. )

Install Windows 7 on the partition without label that was established earlier when you shrunk the partition "C:". Continue to install WIndows 7 by / responding to all the guests. Once you download Windows 7 on your computer, we have to track down the compatible drivers for it. Please list all the "hardware ID" for unknown or missing devices.

  • P7-1299cb: no sound for desktop computer after update to windows 10

I have a desktop computer that used to run windows 7 and finally decided to upgrade to windows 10.  Update had no problems, but I have no sound.  I tried to update the driver through windows update and HP support assistant, both did not acknowledge the problem

Windows update, I get the following message: IDT - Audio Device - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - error 0x8007001f

Please any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello:

The page sheet product indicates that your PC came with W7 64 bit.

I can tell you that there is no audio driver W10 32 bit.

If you have inadvertently posted the wrong bit version, see if this W10 64-bit IDT audio driver works...

This package provides the Tempo IDT High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

    File name: sp71717.exe

Otherwise, there is a workaround solution that you can try to get at least the noise at work...

Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

    1. Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC under this category.

    2. Select the driver tab.

    3. click on Update Driver... button.

4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

    5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

    6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

A warning message may appear, but click Yes.

7 Windows has updated your driver software.

    8 restart the PC.

    The key is step 6.

  • Pavilion Elite HPE 450 t PC: desktop computer will not be updated for windows 7 64, Microsoft tried without success.

I have a PC Pavilion Elite HPE 450 t, and a few months ago he ceased to accept automatic updates from Microsoft downloads.

? Is it possible to load windows 10 on win 7?

I got my PC tested for viruses, root kits and it is clean, but updates are still not loading.

    Hi there @LROSZKOW,

I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you have had problems with the updates of Windows and want to know if you can upgrade to Windows 10. I'm happy to help you with this.

Reading the questions you have described in your current system that you cannot upgrade to Windows 10, using the normal method of free upgrade. Your system should have the option available from a previous update of Windows, as the free update is delivered via Windows update. If you have a Windows 7 or 8.1 product key, then you could do a clean install of Windows 10 and use this key to activate your Windows 10 free documents. Of course, you want to first make a backup of your data.

Another option would be to try to load the original image from the desktop computer, and then try to update again by using Windows Update. This assumes you have a working recovery partition or recovery media. Computers HP - performing a recovery of system HP (Windows 7)  But to protect your data, you want to make a first backup as I mentioned.

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

I wonder about windows RT I heard several sources say different things. Windows RT has a traditional desktop computer? If so, here are the ways I think this could work. Can you tell me how it will work?

    1. it has no offices.

    3. it has an office which runs only applications that are configured for windows 8/RT. As there are, desktop applications, but not backward compatibility. It should be for RT.

Is there more that should be? I'm not a technical wizzard!

Yes, you should be able to add a video card sparate, by replacing the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE which is integrated into the motherboard. IIRC there is a x 16 and x 1.
