7936 conference phone lock / freezing

This issue was published on January 20, 2016 and was not resolved, so I still have the problem.

I have several IP Cisco 7936 conference phones that locking up and the only way to get them operational again is to supply their market, however don't not all phones 7936 I behave like that. I also tried to reset the phones that are listed as not registered to in CUCM but it does not, that remove and reapply power to solve the problem.

My version of CUCM is 7.1.5.34900 - 7 and the firmware loaded on every 7936 phone cmterm_7936.3 - 3-20-0.

Please, please can someone help?

The version of cucm and 7936 are the two end of support. The best solution is to try to update the firmware of these 7936 to the last. Are they used to run correctly on an earlier version of the firmware, then you can consider downgrading the firmware as well.

    Hi all

    Lollipop phone lock, either by the hardware button or software used to unlock using the fingerprint sensor.

    But Marshmallow only pitcher results hardware button to release through fingerprint sensor.

    If I use the screen with software lock (for example double tap the gesture of the Nova Launcher or any screen large app) footprint unlocking does not work. It asks password pin code / model.

    I checked this on two units G4 bike most of my friends. Lenovo recently released also Marshmallow update for Note K4, which also has the same issue. However even worked very well on Lollipop 5.1 on note K4.

    Is this something to do with the marshmallow or something else... Can someone shed some light?

    The application above options is just a workaround and that too in paid version solution. So as possible. I also got a confirmation of the Launcher Nova developer phones without root cannot tap double locking and FPS unlock.

    So in Stock Marshmallow no choice but to use the above, paid app for the workaround or use hardware key locking. Double tap is out of the question.

    K4 note got another built-in feature of the wide Touch. This works with FPS without problems.

    If you talk about the device password then simply change SIM card will not disable the device password a user defined here device. But if we enter too bad password (default is 10) then our device will begin a wipe removing all user data of this unit and must start all over again.

    But if it's BlackBerry ID password, then it will be different! If we go in too bad password for our BlackBerry ID then it locks us, first for 15 minutes and so on. In this situation, must reset the BlackBerry ID password, but it will never be allowed to wipe our BlackBerry, refer to this Article:

    I love the new IOS 10 and the best use of with the new Hey Siri Siri however its convenience is much need extra help.  My constructive criticism is simiple: allow users the ability to control what apps Hey Siri can access fully while the phone is in lock mode.

    Thanks to the ease of entry and the need for security, its safe to say most if not all people lock their new iphones.  Hey Siri is a remarkable tool that allows us to use some functions of the hands-free phone system.  However, when the phone is locked and you ask Siri to enact a specific command by using a specific application, it often requires you to then unblock you even your phone which, in my mind, defeats the purpose of its use in the first place.

    For example: Question - "Hey Play Pandora, Siri", response - (in the new British accent) "you must first unlock your iphone.

    What is the point of allowing me the ability to access an app like Pandora with Siri when I physically have to go first to unlock the phone.  I could do what I had to do in the past and go to the phone, unlock, and then launch Pandora.  Remember, I was in the shower when I sent this request but was very upset that I could easily send SMS but not play my music.  I can't imagine that it would be terribly difficult list applications in section Siri to parameters that you want to allow access to in lock mode.

  • All new phone lock question-restoration works not

    I just got a new phone and tried to erase the recovery mode because the device is picking up a random 6-digit and locking code. Unfortunately, it says that the device is not be restored. Is there anything else I can try?

    I do not understand what it means to 'clear the recovery mode '.  It could mean erase using recovery mode, or it may mean something quite opposite.

    In any case, try to use the procedure described in "Erase your device with the recovery mode" in the article of HT204306 you fixed above.  If this fails, contact Apple Support such as suggested in the "Get more help" section of this article.

    I don't understand what you're asking. Until the display turns off (go to sleep) the phone is unlocked and there is no need to unlock. Can you be more specific?

    I was wondering if someone could help me with this.

    I've always had Motorola phones for many years and on the "old", I liked the feature where you can lock your phone with a security lock code, so when someone rings your phone may not be answered until the lock code has been entered. It's the only reason why I had Motorola phones like no other phone had this feature.

    Is it possible that I can get the same feature on my defy?

    I don't think that this option is available, because it is not a part of Android. I looked through all the phone settings, security settings and call settings and could not find this feature.

    Oh boy. I had never been asked to use a password to unlock my phone, except when I created my work email sync account. There is a password that I had to use because my company uses a system of RSA SecurID authentication code. All Sync ok, my Sync of calendar with the calendar of my work, my work e-mail came through, beautiful. I then turned off the wi - fi and also have an app that turns off (I'm experimenting with settings for my trip to Europe, where I don't want not data crawling in except for via wifi) the given 3G, and clicked the button to lock the phone. I've never had to enter a password to unlock the phone before, but the next time I went to unlock the phone it was the case. I thought it had to do with my work e-mail account, but it was weird because I updated the manual synchronization. I tried to enter in what I would come to my work email, but it did not work, until the phone did a reset to factory. I was grateful for that, better than be locked up on the phone. I would like to know why this happened and how to prevent it. What other password might the phone asked for? What would a password 'phone' had been setup?

    You can check with HER. I heard that it may be possible for them to impose a password lock remotely. I have no experience with exchange, so I can't say with certainty.

    Today, as I turned on my phone, I'm stuck at the screen lock with this message.

    Try a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix questions - this will be factory reset your phone and erase all data so better to save before you start

    Turn off your phone and unplug the PC (Hold to increase the volume and power for 10 seconds)
    Start PC Companion and select the area of support then updated my phone/Tablet then blue fix my phone/Tablet and follow the instructions on the screen - when prompted connect your phone turned off always press and hold volume or back button - this should begin the process of repair or reformatting

    If you use Windows 8/8.1 or a 64-bit operating system and then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and choose Windows 7 or XP
