8.1 Windows can't get Firefox appears on the taskbar. 09/11/16
Installed latest Firefox desktop (49.0.2) last week. Can't pin the firefox to the taskbar. The task bar will not display the running instances of Firefox. Windows 8.1 - all important, installed updates from today (09/11/16).
You send messages with the computer problem?
Firefox icon does not display the taskbar, or you can not "pin"?
Separate question: update your Flash Player Note: Windows users need to download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin Plugin browser (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version: 23.0.0 205 Flash Player (Linux) Version 11.2 202.643
https://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/ Direct link scans the current system and the browser Note: other software is available in the download.
https://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select the operating system, step 2: select a Version (Firefox, Win THE...). Note: other software is available in the download.

Hello
Apparently, your iPad is configured to business. Extend360 IBM is the MDM (mobile device management) application that manages other applications on your iPad.
I would recommend first consult the service provider COMPUTER for iOS applications that are allowed to run on your iPad.

- Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar

Do a check with some malicious software malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

How can I get Firefox to display the information bar when a pop-up is blocked
I clicked on "don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked" when a popup has been blocked. How can I get this message to reappear again when a pop-up is blocked?
I find generally pop ups boring, but sometimes they are needed to use some Web sites correctly. Now I can not get the information bar to return when a pop-up is blocked. How can I get that back?
Operating system
Windows XP
You can see a pop-up block icon in the right corner of the status bar if you have chosen to hide the information bar at the top.
You can click on this icon of pop - up block on the status bar and remove the check mark from «do not show an information message when pop-ups are blocked»You can watch these prefs the topic: config page and reset them using the context menu:
Status bar icon: browser.popups.showPopupBlocker
The InfoBar at the top: privacy.popups.showBrowserMessageTo open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the Enter key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page. -

How can I get text appears on the screen in Outlook & Internet Explorer?
When you reply to emails in Outlook, the text I typed often does not appear on the screen or appears, usually in the part, 10 or 20 seconds after I typed.
When I'm using Internet Explorer and typing in a forum which I am part of the text does appear not at all, not even after a delay.
Hi, V. sirot S thank you very much for your answer. I'll put the information in my bump for later reference.
My problem seems to have been resolved by removing the unifying device from Logitech to my computer which is under my desk & placing in the hub I have on my desk. I also removed another device on my desktop then I have now a line of sight clearer between the unifying device & my mouse & keyboard. In any case, so far, everything is fine. Thank you once again.

I have a laptop Toshiba Intel Core i7 CPU Q740 @1. 73 GHz 1.73 GHz, 4.00 GB RAM 32-bit operating system
I noticed the problem after installing Firefox 4.0.1 but uninstalling and reinstalling found it was also a problem with the previous version.
There is no boxes displayed on this screen, but on my XP desktop, they are displayed. I have two open so I know where to type.
I installed Firefox on the virtual console XP on this machine and it worked fine, but not with Windows 7.
None of the posted similar questions on this forum suggestions worked.
Make sure that allow you pages to choose their colors and you have not enabled high contrast in the Windows accessibility settings.

My C drive (disk solid state drive), which held my operating system and data from the app crashed. I had it replaced, updated Win 7 to win 10 and have downloaded Firefox. I was able to restore my profile from a Mozy backup data and copied in the Firefox folder. But Firefox resolutely refuses to recognize. I tried using the recovery data from an old profile, but no advantage help page. Tried to use the Manager profile, but without success. When I go to Troubleshooting Information and click on file/Show profile, it comes up with a list of files (files starting with bookmarkbackups, which however is empty, down for webapps, which has the file inside webapps.json), then the files from addons.json down through xulstore.json and the file places.sqlite is 10 240 KB Although there is something in there, but Firefox resolutely refuses to acknowledge my profile, bookmarks, etc..
I'm out of options and ripping my hair out trying to get all my favorites, in which I have a lot of information such as the authentication of data for many favorite sites. It is frustrating that all the information seems to be there, but Firefox ignore all.
Can anyone help?
Such a backup is perhaps a ZIP archive containing all the files into it if it is not a real file, but only one file.
Note is that you replace the file places.sqlite with a copy of the backup that you have to make sure to remove existing places.sqlite - shm and temporary files to SQLite places.sqlite - wal.
Ditto for the other SQLite files that you are restoring.Have you checked the application.ini file in the backup?

How can I get Firefox to accept the current Shockwave Flash (v. 18)?
Even if I just put Flash Player update, page of the Add-ons manager says she is vulnerable and insists on the request until it activates. What gives?
It is usually Windows XP, right, not 64 - bit?
You can check this file:
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
You will find only one file from NPSWF32:
NPSWF32_18_0_0_209.dll
If Firefox does not detect it, try out Firefox and go to the top.

When I open Facebook and a few other Web pages, the size of the screen is large and some of the information is not displayed. I have tried everything to reset the size and it does not work. I even zoom and missing information have not appeared. But if I connect in IE is fine and all the info is there and are usable. I hate IE and do not want to use then please help me to solve this problem with Firefox.
You can rename the file happy - prefs.sqlite content - prefs.sqlite.old (or remove the file) in the profile folder to reset the zoom on every site page.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file

I couldn't find the option to choose from on Firefox to automatically display the latest version of web pages whenever I come. I was need to hit the Refresh button.
You can make Firefox always reload a page by changing a hidden preference.
- Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- In the filter box, type frequency to bring up a small number of preferences
- Double-click the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency preference and change its value to 1
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.check_doc_frequency for more details about this preference

How can I get Firefox to display the Facebook comments to my blog the Huffington Post?
I am a blogger for the Huffington Post. They recently moved all comment to Facebook activity, and I see comments from readers via Internet Explorer, but not with Firefox. I would like to know what to do about it? I see a small link that takes me to a page of information "Facebook Social Addin", on Internet Explorer. Missing Firefox? Or is there another solution?
Your "Disconnect" extension aims to reduce multisite followed by Facebook? It is possible that is a factor because I think that the code that retrieves the observations (hosted on connect.facebook.net) can be on the same server as the code that generates the button I like.

Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
You can "zoom in" all sites using this add-on: NoSquint. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.
After the installation of NoSquint, click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.If you do not have the bar the module displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.
You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but I wouldn't not much higher than 150% unless you have a large screen high resolution.
If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.
You can find more information about the features of zoom Firefox offer in these articles:
Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom text only
Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom the entire page (including images etc.)

I have an iMac and I'm running 10.4.6
I am running Firefox 3.6.26My problem is, when I shut down my computer, Firefox is not quite, so I have to force Firefox to quit. He's not leaving when I click on leave.
Before this problem appears, Firefox would have to smoke when I clicked on Shut down.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem.
No problem, happy as its all sorted out.
Its a shame to lost your story, I hope you have recovered your bookmarks, however. If this isn't the case, I recommend trying something like FF built in harmony, or for older versions, an add-on like Xmarks to save your bookmarks.
