I can't get Firefox to restore the normal size. I tried everything, including put it back. Only some pages Web like Facebook is great & it will not be reset, but in IE, it's normal. If it please help because I hate IE & really don't want to use it

  Such a backup is perhaps a ZIP archive containing all the files into it if it is not a real file, but only one file.

  Note is that you replace the file places.sqlite with a copy of the backup that you have to make sure to remove existing places.sqlite - shm and temporary files to SQLite places.sqlite - wal.
  Ditto for the other SQLite files that you are restoring.

  Have you checked the application.ini file in the backup?

  I use 3.6 because I like how it spans my toolbars instead of just me giving bookmarks in the corner and firefox solitaire in the opposite corner. • How can I get my documents show the same size as the native app?

  When I type the command-1, Acrobat shows me some kind of document larger than the application that I exported.

  It of like Illustrator knows my screen is 140DPI and Acrobat thinks it is 72... or something like that.

  The thing is, a person was taking screenshots in Acrobat, to cut out a design I created in Illustrator (I saved it as a PDF, to maintain the editability of vector) and EVERYTHING came out so big. Now I realize that acrobat DOESN'T believe 100%, it means... Well, something different than what things Illustrator.

  You can try to move the zoom lever in Reader.  Open the drive, go to the Edit-> Preferences-> categories Page Display. Now, try to place the lever zoom for PDF files.

• I can't get Windows XP to open. I've tried EVERYTHING! It doesn't let me do safe mode either

  I had downloaded the upgrde to IE for IE 8 and when I rebooted I couldn't come back in XP.  I've tried EVERYTHING! Further, I had was the BSOD with the code:

  I lost the cd of restoration came with the laptop so I tried to load a XP cd I had.  When I type R it sends me right back to the black screen with the choice of safe mode.  When I hit enter to enter the installer tells me that no HD has been detected. Press F3 to exit and I immediately go to the menu of the black screen again.  What should I do?

  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Following your suggestion to disable AHCI mode, I was finally able to enter in my screen fast to restore my system in safe mode.  I now have my windows XP back.

  Now, can I go back and enable AHCI mode or I leave him?

  You're welcome Sandi. Please take the time to mark my answer as the answer to help others who are looking for the site with the same question.

  You should return an enable AHCI... However, with AHCI enabled did not prevent you to go in safe mode. Many times a computer starts several loads in safe mode with command prompt, even if it does not load in safe mode any choice.

  If a site uses BGSOUND so this will only work in Internet Explorer.

  BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.
