  Go to the manufacturing office support web site and search for Windows Vista drivers for your specific model number. Also look for recent updates, even if your PC comes with Windows Vista preinstalled.

  Then download all the drivers in a folder on your hard drive and install all of them, starting with the card mother/chipset, SATA, LAN, Audio, drivers, and so on.

  If your microsoft software is pre-installed it is licensed oem and it related to the first machine that is installed the life of this machine

  To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

  I installed Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard as a test version of an iso download got on the product site in Ms. In the meantime, I bought the software. Once the software has been delivered, I tried to activate with the key provided me with the software sent from Microsoft. I get...   Ideally, there are two types of product keys: key to retail version key upgrade and full. The key to upgrade is used to upgrade the version of the operating system when you have the lower version of the operating system already installed on the system, for example, if you have already installed Windows 7 system, you can use the upgrade of Windows 8 to upgrade (override) currently installed Windows 7 to Windows 8. This product key cannot be used to download the installer of Windows 8 and create a bootable for installing Windows 8 from scratch.

  However, the key of the full version allows to download the installer of Windows 8 and create a Windows 8 boot disk to install a full version of the operating system.

  According to your description, you have reinstalled the hard drive on your machine and want to install Windows 8 by creating a bootable. Thus, you will always have the above error message while downloading executable files for Windows 8.

  There are two options you can try to install Windows 8 on your system:

  • Replace the key with a key to the version upgrade complete on the Microsoft Store and follow the procedure as you said in your post. You will not get the error message given.
  • If you have the Windows 7 installation media, you can try to install Windows 7 on the reinstalled hard drive. After activating this operating system, you can try to upgrade to Windows 8 by using the product key that you have already purchased.

Usually, when I use the tool all right and there is no problem; However, in this case it I cannot enter certain keys as in a, e, i, o, u, s, etc.. I tried copy and pasting from Notepad and it sticks only certain letters like h and q.
