• Firefox opens, running Microsoft Security Essentials & Malwarebytes, nothing coming.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 with XP SP3 and now deleted AVG Free and installed Microsoft Security Essentialls (MSE).

  The result is after installing MSE and begin my laptop cursor is stuck in the center of the screen and will not respond to the inputs of the mouse or the keyboard.

  In aid of F12 to get my startup options allowed me to try the Safe Mode and last known good Configuration etc but they all show the same functionality, IE freeze when the desktop appears. XP seems to be operating in the background, for example system clock stays on time, "notice" system if its wifi singal is removed etc.

  Just to make the day to try to do an OS reinstall pressing 0 to on has no effect - system just boots in XP - so I can't my recovery partition!

  I have now is not a HW problem as the /kbd cursor works if I boot into a non-windows system, for example UBUNTU CD

  Any suggestions welcome - such as can I download a recovery on antother PC CD and burn a recovery CD?

  As far as I know it s recommended using a security program only. You must use a Microsoft or McAfee, but not both!

  I'm waiting for my first iPhone ever and I wanted to familiarize myself with iTunes and to preload applications for my PC already... I noticed that some of the apps are "labeled" as "Essentials" apps (see, for example, YouTube - https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/youtube/id544007664), however, the label is not interactive (on Internet or PC) and so I'm not able to display one list of other applications marked with the same label. Is there a way how this can be displayed in iTunes?

  I am on Windows 7 with a 64-bit laptop DV7. I have problems with Windows Live Mail, because when I click on the Inbox, sent. deleted etc, nothing happens. (see "how to remove and reinstall Windows Live Rssentials - I can't past 3 and" can't not "Uninstall") Could it be because there is a slight modification to the Hp software please, and if so someone can tell me how I can uninstall and then reinstall. • 2012 Server R2 Windows Update error 8024402F Essentials

  Hi all

  I have a newly installed Win 2 k 12 R2 Essentials server. Windows updates worked for the first time in court (first update etc.) but now when I go to check the updates manually, I get error 8024402F. I tried ALL the troubleshooting on various Internet sites without success. This includes CISD, sfc.exe, disabling firewall/scannow, etc..

  I am at my wits end now with what I can't work out where it is a failure. To confirm, there is no firewall or proxy between this server and the internet.

  Your advice and your support would be much appreciated!
