9263 update tension to slow

I am using a cDAQ 9172 with modules NI9263 VO and NI9205 VI. I want to read a (feedback) voltage and adjust the output voltage to read a porportial of the voltage value in. The problem I'm having is that the 9263 seems to slow down. I need to update the output voltage to 500 Hz. I do not seem to get anywhere near that fast. Any ideas?

    Hello

I can only say that the Vista operating system needs much more resources as the XP operating system for example.
The BIOS version 5.1 has been designed for the use of Vista and therefore it s no surprise to me that the laptop is running a little don't bit slower

Something more to my knowledge the M70 has not been declared as able to Vista laptop. In any case, thanks for your comments...

  • Are there any recent "updates" which could slow down my computer?

I had my system set up so that I would be informed of updates then I would elect to install those that I wanted too. Somehow this setting has been changed to automatically download and install updates. In recent weeks, I noticed that my computer has slowed down considerably.

I have a Sony Vaio, I bought October 2012. I don't keep a lot of photos or videos on my hard but drive transfer them to an external hard drive that is not connected to my laptop unless I use as external hard drive at this time so I don't know has nothing to do with the cause of my laptop is running slowly. My operating system is Windows 7. The version that is installed on my computer but I don't know how to check the version. I don't know what other information, you may need, but can tell you that I don't download a lot of things like my children and grandchildren do my hard drive is not all clogged with junk.

If you need more info about my system and can tell me how I would like to know what you need to know that I will be happy to provide this information in order to help find the reason of my system is so slow now.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

  • Windows Update program very slow to download updates

I have windows vista Home premium installed on my PC.  Whenever I try to install updates by using the Windows Update program, updates take a long time to download.  Today (Sunday December 19 09 09:30-11:30 - Australia, Melbourne time) I tried to download 6 updates of 7.3 MB in size, and it's always full to 98 per cent.  It is not my internet connection, I can view web pages from the USA and the Australia quickly enough that I download updates.  In my view, that the problem is a problem of Microsoft server.  It is almost impossible (in addition to a lot of wasted time) to keep windows up-to-date with this ridiculous of download speeds.  I regularly have to quit smoking, and then try again.  Whenever I try to update my Windows operating system I experience these low download speeds.  I don't feel these issues with other web pages / other applications (for example SUN's Java) which updates can be very large!

Can anyone help fix this problem.

my PC connects to the internet through a wireless USB...

Ah! Long story, short version: find a fixed connection (DSL or cable) connection or a reliable & strong WiFi connection (for example, at the House of a friend, your school or public library), and then run Windows Update manually.

99% (AKA critical) Important security updates are released on the second Tuesday of each month (for example, Jan 12-10; 09 Feb-10; & ff) about 12 times noon Seattle (USA) (which would be the second Wednesday of each month in Melbourne). Do yourself a favor and make a mental note to use such alternative access & update manually on the second Wednesday or Thursday of each month you will be sure to keep your computer fully patched.

Long version: the popularity of connections 'WiFi' rises, we find that the more reports in addition to this problem in these forums and discussion groups. I suspect that these connections 'wifi' are either not strong enough or coherent enough to be used for purposes of automatic update. Assuming that Microsoft Update is your source of default update, [1] it can take 45 minutes or more for you to update manually. Automatic updates can take days to download/install updates, according to the request of the server.

In another answer, I will post some tips Vista SP2 installation for you.

PS: Your "wireless internet" connection might be good enough if the signal is strong enough (for example, 4 to 5 bars on your mobile phone). Then again, YMMV.

"While Windows Update provides updates specifically for Windows, Microsoft Update expands the service to download and install updates for other software from Microsoft, such as Microsoft Office and Windows Live. Update automatic is a feature that allows you to configure your PC to automatically download and install updates using each service, making it easy and convenient for you to keep your current Windows PC. »

  • I try to download the update of 150 and it takes forever! Why Windows 7 update is so slow?

I have a few updates to download and install, but it seems that I can't. Always 0% current even after a few hours of "Download".  I cancelled it and now I ticked the box with smaller update (about 150) and wait more than 10 minutes. Nothing happens. It worked well a few updates ago that happened?

    Edit:

I left my place for a few hours, when I came back that update was installed successfully, but a few hours of 150 of ffs, update? I have to keep my PC for an entire day to install those who are heavy 50 MB?

  • Materialized - view Refresh in 10g FAST... update in 11g SLOW

Sorry I'm not able to stick whatever it is.

The customer left their database 10g to a database of GR 11, 2.
They created the MV in the new system and now it takes 26 hours to refresh
instead of 15 min in the old database 10 g.

Looking for a game plan for troubleshooting.

I know that I only am not much providing so please forgive me.

Where could you look first? Explain plan... Control Panel...? Let me know.

If you have a good reference that would work. The docs do not work.

    Thanks in advance.

    >
Do you mean that they have improved their existing database to 10g to 11 GR 2? Or do you mean that they load the data into a new database of 11 GR 2?

Unless you provide more information there is no way to provide specific suggestions. What kind of MV? Are the source and MV on the same server?

If this is a new database, it can fail to indexes or constraints. The MV may initially be empty and the first update will be COMPLETED which will take much more than a differential.

Some of the objects or constraints might be invalid.

  • Update of Acquisition of tension over on front panel

I have this simple motor driver program that communicates with a stepper motor controller. I now have to combine this vi with person who acquires a finite number of data points of tension. I found an example of tension over who works with my daq (usb-6009). I was thinking about another stacked in a loop sequence for works to save the voltages, motor training, save several tensions, etc. a desired amount of time.

I wish I could see the tension on the front panel, because I'm their record. Is there a simple way to do this when requiring a finite number of tensions? I use finish because I need only say 10 seconds of data in each engine position and fixing the number of samples whose rate is a simple way to adjust the ignition.

The examples I've seen update tension using a while loop. If I do this then the while loop keeps going until the user stops it.

Thank you very much. 2 vi, I work with is attached.

BTW, I'm a graduate of mechanical engineering student.

    Hello

See this link on the waveform data type.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/B965F316364DE17B862572DF00363B10

Writing custom file Express VI will be likely to work as a note for a long time the sample and, therefore, the loop rate is not too high.  It's because the writing on a file of measures, although practical, contains a bit of overhead.  If you want to display multiple channels, you can merge the signals and display them on a single diagram, or use several.  It will be you.

The best indicator to use will depend on what data you want to display.  The waveform table is going to be the most complete, but as you have found the samples back in the form of an array of double type, you can indicators table, or remove points on the table and use digital indicators as well.

  • Computer slowed down after updates

A home computer using Vista premium with current updates began to slow down about 30 days ago.  After a normal start (about one minute) to power, the system seems to stop.  No CPU activity and a bit of disk activity.  Sometimes, keyboard and mouse die requiring a re - start.  Problem seems to go away after about 30 to 50 minutes of no apparent activity. I suspect the hard drive, but could be motherboard controller or (I hope) a software setting.

MalwareBytes no problem after full search.
