• And the good old CC Desktop Update bug is back!

  I thought that this problem had been corrected since the last updates went well, but he's back.   I had the problem with the last CC Office. Here is how I fixed it...

  Once the installation process has failed and the window is closed without any error message, I could see the following folders were present on my system:

  -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe creative cloud (former)

  -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud_ (a new one)

  -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud_bkp1 (a backup, I guess)

  All of these issues are similar.

  What I did:

  1. deleted (or renamed) file Adobe Creative cloud after a logoff / logon (because this file is still in use after the update crashed).

  2 renamed Adobe Creative Cloud_ Adobe Creative Cloud.

  3 deleted Adobe Creative Cloud_bkp1.

  After that, I could launch new Office CC without re - update.

  As the 3 steps above are sufficient to complete the installation, it seems that the installer fails when you try to do the same.

• Stylus Pro/iOS 9.2/3rd party iPad bug

  It's my second iPad Pro since Dec. 23. I had my first replaced because he was a topic on the screen which seems not to respond with my jot adonit stylus pro. So when I first came to this replacement, after the service provider deemed first one defective, I tested it before going to the store. Everything was fine. The pen worked all over the screen. Then, I have upgraded to iOS 9.2. The bug is back and on the same sector than before! The area is near the smart connector. (see attached photo) It was very similar, if not exactly the same area where the iPad Pro I had replaced had stylus response problem. I really think that it was a bug in iOS, since before the upgrade to 9.2, this problem did not exist. Please fix this in the next update.

  

  I use a point w/pixel Adonit Jot touch with my iPad Pro and have not noticed this problem at all.

  You use the Adonit Jot Pro with the disc on the end?

  You have described the issue is really strange
  I can t image it could be exactly but if that appears after your GPU and CPU has been changed so I recommend you to contact the ASP again and wonder what goes wrong.

  I put t know if you use a newer graphics driver and BIOS, but you should check if the problem persists even with the update of the BIOS and graphics driver.
  But if you see any improvements so a call of ASP is required

• Calendar resumes always full screen with black bars at the top and bottom

  Calendar always starts like that. I can reduce and enlarge the window, and the problem disappears when the application is open.   I have the same problem.  I had this bug with 10.11.x for awhile and then he suddenly stopped.

  Even though I have a lot of assets on the creative cloud, I went I try to access the model files (my files), or even draw, the active screen is empty. I tried a reset of the iPad and revival of the application, but not luck.

  Hi there, I recently had a similar issue on MacBook and Adobe technical support representative helped me to fix it.

  EDIT: the bug is back. Just after I set up my work space, argh. But at least I know what is the cause - when I move my main monitor to one secondary color picker.

  It's just a temporary solution, the bug comes back after a while.

  1. close all Adobe applications that you are running.

  2. open Finder and select in the menu go - go to the folder... and type in ~/library/preferences

  3. navigate to the folder Adobe Illustrator 18 parameters

  4 rename the old folder "en_US" "en_US".

  5. launch Illustrator (you can synchronize settings with cloud if you want)

  We are aware of the problem and address it in a future release.  There seems to be a change in Safari, and if the symptoms are the same, the cause is probably different.

  In the meantime, you will need an alternative browser for debugging of content.  Firefox is probably the easiest option in this case.

• Lines are appearing after you save a psd in cc 2014

  I had a few problems during the recording of the psd in 2014 of CC. After you save an image lines tend to appear, and in one case actually added to a mask, I was creating. I have examples of images below this has happened. A final note is that it seems that this problem happens sporadically.   OK, I had some time to test more today ' today - and it looks like "Cache tile size" settings is the culprit for me. The default configuration of 128 k creates the artifact of lines when you are working on large files (something around 1500 x 1500 pix files and more). Definition of a size of tile of 132 k or more, I was able to re - open files and the items are gone. Put the 128 k, a recurrence of opening the file and I have the bug. I'm able to reproduce.

  If the size of the Tile Cache fix it. A note: if sometimes I export a file (ex: jpeg), artifacts of lines are "integrated" in the work. However to save a PSD file with the artifact and open it after changing the size of tile makes artifacts disappear.

  What's weird, is that I get this bug now as if the "use graphics processor" is unchecked. But the first time it has been verified that it seems that it is the default on installed Photoshop. Now I can move it back, put the size 128K, and I'm ok. Yet once, it is not a large trial since I did 20 minutes fiddling with different files. I will update later if the bug is back because I use CC 2014 in the future.

  Also note that the first time, I was able to get artifacts on a lot smaller, but these files we are smart objects pasted from Illustrator. This looks fixed now. It is perhaps the way PS handles caching of vector objects.

  So play with these settings, remember to close the PS at each change of Performance parameters. Let us know if it suits him.

  I've never heard a backup report bugs, however if you are interested in, you can always restore the device as good as new.
