core i7 (3rd generation) can support Windows XP (sp2 or sp3)?
Mr President, my question is that, core i7 processor (3rd generation) will support window XP (sp2 or sp3)? Install Windows XP on a PC, which is activated with core i7 processor (3rd generation), without any difficulty? If this is not the case, is it possible to install Windows XP on core i7 (3rd generation) compatible processor PC, without using a pc virtual & window xp mode?
Thank you
Rohit
You will need to check with the manufacturer of the hardware you use, especially the card manufacturer mother but also all the addin cards and devices. If they have XP drivers then the answer is that your system must work with XP.
You already asked this question, but my answer is essentially the same thing as Richard G Harper in this thread...

I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit, who tried to install SP2 yesterday. The first time I tried installing my antivirus (Bitdefender IS 2009) picked up to (false positives due to the SP2) and quarantined them. I know I should have disabled the anti-virus before installing, so I got to before installation and brought the quarantined files. Now after installation for the second time, when Vista boots, I get a black screen of hanging showing:
!! 0xc0000034! 7606/76472 (amd64_microsoft-windows-d.. pwindowmanager...)
Hello Mohan
Thank you. I probably didn't explain it very well but I did the restore previously. Restore restores obviously to SP2 before updating then after that I got the error the first time I did a restore, I disabled the antivirus and tried to reinstall SP2, make the same mistake. My question is what should I do before installing SP2, so it succeeds and I do not get the error.
Anyway, I finally managed to install SP2 third time lucky) after action more for no antivirus process were running and returning to the windows firewall. I have disabled all Bitdefender 2009 protection (real-time protection, etc.) parameters General and unchecked "Run Bitdefender at startup. Then after rebooting my machine, I was able to install SP2.

Why can't I install SP2 or SP3 on my Satellite R10?
Why can not install SP 2 or 3 on my satellite R10? All I get is a message saying that I need the disk in Word 2002 in order to proceed
Stand by. Do you want to install XP service pack or you want to install the service pack for Office software?
Second, Toshiba laptops are not delivered with Microsoft Office with OneNote and is not the same thing! So, what's the problem? How do you have Word installed on your laptop? In my opinion, you should have the Office CD, and in this case, the installation of service packs should be NO problem

Can I update OS on a computer good?
Hi, my friend's dad built me a computer game. I recently bought Battlefield 3, but it says I have to update my OS. So I wonder if I go out and buy Windows 8, which will be legal? My friend told me that it would not because the current operating system is under someone elses name because it was someone elses prior.
I looked and Windows 8 can be upgraded a windows xp computer then why can't I upgrade if I went out and spent $70 on Windows 8? Or could I?
My friend is right? and if it is, why it's now illegal for me to use this computer?retail purchased windows can be moved to other computers.
Windows OEM are locked on they were installed on the original computer.
If a retail version is moved to another computer, it must be removed from
the it has been installed on the computer.
in other words - key of a product on a single computer at a time. (domestic use)
You can have windows (double, triple boot) on the same pc you have the keys to legal product for each of them.
8 victory is a very big leap for a pc built for winxp.
Check your system with the Advisor to upgrade on the ms site.

Windows Update error 0 X 80244019 in WinXP SP2
do a rebuild of my dual boot Win XP and Win7 system - must have a software that can be run on Windows XP.
try to get updates, but the site 'Encountered a problem' and get the above error code.
Can not use the fixit tool as it is to the SP2-tool requires SP3, which I'm moving to.
Data sheet:
WinXP SP2 32-bit on 200 GB drive HARD Sata2-partion
IE8
AMD Phenom II 4 x 2.51 GHz
ASRock MB w / chipset Via
4 GB of DDR2 ram
Preliminary work:
Download the installation files of SP3, IE8 and Microsoft Security Essentials, which is an effective antivirus/antimalware program. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)
(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials (for MMS)
1. physically disconnect from the Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices!
2. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:
Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates
Select "Turn off automatic updates" and click OK.
3. install the SP3. Restart TWICE.
4. switch to IE8. Restart TWICE. (Note: it is important to let IE at the level before the upgrade to SP3 IE6.) After you are in SP3, then you can switch IE6 to IE8).
5 install MSE.
(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).
6. make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):
Start | Control Panel | Security Center
(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet. Update Antivirus program.)
7. visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.
8. reactivate the automatic updates.

0rignal title: Vista SP1 didn't update problem
So, recently, I was on my computer of gf and noticed she had some updates, it could use his computer which included the SP1 update. So I went through the process trying to update his computer and he has been a disaster and have had many problems and seems to have tried everything. It has a Dell inspiron 1525 and has no CD and no key for its program of Vista. I burned a Vista recovery disk and tried troubleshooting by using that, but have not had much luck. When I use the Startup Repair tool there is no nothing. So I tried to use the restore of the system with the Description of "install: Windows Vista Service Pack 1. He had a restore point saved just before I tried to update to SP1. Whenever I chose this method, it's but the whole process then in the end it says:
"System restore was not entirely successful. File system and the setting of your computer have not changed. "
then he begins to list the details with the error code (0x80071AA7) and then gives me the option to close or 'Run System Restore"once again that is an endless loop, because I just end up with the same error each time. If anyone has had this problem and bring myself through it. I don't want to reinstall windows because it seems simply ridiculous and plus that she a lot of pictures on his computer and I want to get rid of those.
If you need more information please let me know and evil provides everything I can
HelloFollow the steps and check if the problem persists.Step 1:I suspect that your security program may be responsible for this. I would suggest you temporarily disable all security software and try the system restore.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-offhttp://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software
Note : Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.Step 2:As for installing updates is concerned, I you should install them after you put your computer in aclean boot State. There could be a third-party software in conflict with updates. Clean boot helps eliminate these conflicts.Note: Restart your machine as usual by following step 7.Aziz Nadeem - Microsoft Support[If this post was helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful" (green triangle). I can't update itunes. then my iphone doesn´t work on this computer.
I have an iMac 9.1 10.5.8, 2.66 GHz processor and 2 GB of memory. He already has snow leopard, but I can't update to other software and I can not update itunes. then my iphone doesn´t work on this computer. What is the latest software that it supports and what are the steps to update the software and itunes?
< re-titled by host >
This machine can run the latest version of Mac OS X (10.11). You cannot update directly from 10.5, however. If you have already upgraded to Snow Leopard and have used the software update to get updated (10.6.8), then you should be able to install El Capitan from the Mac App store if you have enough disk space.
It would be wise to upgrade the RAM of your machine before attempting it, however, that 2 GB is barely enough to run the OS, never mind all the applications.
This machine can be maxed out at 8 GB of RAM.

Can software update on iphone cause problems when my computer can only move to Mountain Lion?
When my computer can only be upgraded to Mountain Lion?
Any Mac that can run Mountain Lion can run El Capitan, as long as the conditions are identical.
Too little information: you must identify the model of your iPhone and explain exactly your problems. There is no way that anyone would be able to help otherwise.

If you have Mac OS X 10.5 or newer then follow these steps:
Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
Trash the current demand for Firefox to do a clean reinstall.
Install the new version you downloaded.
