A copied XPJ crashed the Original XPJ

What I use:

  • Windows 7
  • 7 HR

Problem:

I got a job XPJ in a folder, I was original XPJ files and make a copy of it to apply a new CSS while keeping the original as a return to the top. The copied version is in the SAME folder as the original XPJ as not to spoil anything. I did this for multiple files without problem. I copied my last one and HR crashed after the copy. Now the XPJ original will open (you can see all the files everything) just to have Robohelp crashes shortly after, before you start working on it!

I get the typicall that RoboHelp 7 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. But there is no solution.

I just hope that my fear became reality that I lost the orignal work!

How can I fix the XPJ no longer planting robohelp?

* I found an OLD OLD to the top of this project and I have nocticed is my current copy has an .ldb file (it looks like a Microsoft Access), while the old BACKUP does not have this file. This could be the reason why he used completely open?

First RoboHelp 7 is not supported on Windows 7 and may very well have problems.

I don't understand how you came to this situation. Why you copy the XPJ project file in the same folder or in fact why copy at all? Also, what is that has to do with changing the CSS?

The LDB file is created when you open a project that the PCD file is a Microsoft Access database with a special extension. The LDB file is created when you open an Access database and should be deleted when it is closed. He night cancelled if left step. If the project is closed you can remove.

Now how do get out you of this. Looks like your way of working with the XPJ is the first cause, then you will have to try to open the project with the HHP file after deleting the CPD and XPJ file. You will lose a few things, but see the projects on my site for the methods to recover.

We know why you work this way, so that maybe we can find a better solution.

  • Smart objects - copy without referencing the Original SO?

    A question from me

If I copy a raster layer several times for an animation to image, then it makes sense to do than the smart object layer.  What I do, but I'm missing something.  For example, there is a video going around on photo blogs today, a lady in charge by an elk, but missed the guy with the iPhone, so I quickly put together.

    Elk-Lady.gif

The video has been radically challenged in the Department of pixel, so I made the Lady layer one OC and formulated a number of copies.  Same thing with the Elk (from a different source), where I used Puppet Warp to simulate a bucking motion.  In both cases, Free transforming the PW YES, or using copied, caused the original SO layer to reflect the changes.  Not good at all. And it's something that's happened to me before.

Then a little later, Google I found this old threadand tried his advice to slide SO the layer to the new icon of layer instead of using Ctrl j.  But that's where it weird, because now I could use Ctrl j and PW as before and modify a copied SO layer without affecting the original.

Someone has a good understanding of why my SOs don't always work in the same way for me?  I guess I should man to the top and RTFM, but I was using what I thought exactly the same workflow in different documents and get different behavior.

Working with smart objects in Photoshop

I don't see this problem in PS CC 2015 (Mac) with copy/duplicate methods. Are you sure that you not open the parent (SO) and the transformation (Puppet Warp or free transform) running on the child (content)?

Application of puppets Warp to a smart object layer apply PW as a dynamic filter that is only attached to this layer (you will see in the layers), and if none of the other layers will be affected by PW. But if you run PW on duplicate content, clicking on a smart object to see the child record, then all layers will be affected.

Looks like you know what you're doing, but the PW behavior as a dynamic filter is specifically designed for the layer that the smart filter is applied.

  • Copy a symbol, the original same-name symbol

    Hello

If I copy a symbol, the new symbol for the same symbol name (to see the left in the probperties). Example "symbol_one"-> copy and paste-> new symbol-> "symbol_one".
If I want to change only one of these two, it is not really possible. Or I want to call one of them under the name of symbol for interaction, same "namespaces".

    Concerning
    Alex

I don't know what you mean because you can't on the stage of several instances of a symbol with the same name. The original name will remain the same, but the bodies have different name and you can call them by their given name.

  • Work on keyframes in copied sequence change the original sequence as well (first Pro CS5.5)

    Hello world

Maybe it's a very basic question, but looking on the forum did not bring to the top of the related issues, so I'm going:

Let's say I have copy a sequence in first Pro CS5.5 and paste it into the same project. I have a few textclips with keyframes in them. (I do, because the videos remain the same, I just write different things in them.) When I change the keyframes in the copied sequence, the way that I need them out there and then come back to the original clip, keyframes it changed as well. This isn't what I wanted.

So my question is: How can I make a copy of a sequence and then work on it without changing the original at the same time? Why are they related in any way? What's a selection in my version of Premiere Pro or is it a general thing?

Be great if someone could explain it to me.

    Thank you!

When you open your title for editing, press the new title based on the current title in the title Editor button; It's one that looks like the film with the "T" in it. This will create a new title in the sandbox, but will not replace the current instance of the title. However, you can simply drag this copied to the instance title, hold the Opt/Alt key and drop it onto the animation instance, copied. This will replace the contents of the clip, but preserve the animation.

  • Is it possible to save the adjusted image virtual copy and throw away the original?

I made a virtual copy of an image which I then adjusted in LR to the way I want to keep it. Now, I wonder if there is a way to easily apply these adjustments to the original, so I can then throw the virtual copy, or do I save the virtual copy and delete the original? I have just need two images, one that is not a custodian. I don't want to delete the original if the virtual copy depends on its existence.

I want to keep the images up to that I want and I'm working to erase those images that I never use. According to what is the best way to handle the above situation will allow me to make a few essential to my catalog household.

    TIA,

    Ken

You must copy the changes to the original, and then destroy the virtual copy. The other way ' round will not work.

In the grid, do a right click on the virtual tour you are interested in. In submenus 'Develop settings' and "Metadata Presets", you can choose "copy...". ». What to do in each of them, right click on the original and make the two corresponding blocks.

  • How to transfer the original user files to the new?

Original title: copy of the user files

I'm looking to copy files to a new username. I had all kinds of problems with user names in Win7. I never had a logon screen and usually went straight to my account at startup. Then I had a problem with a program that some of windows installation files were accidentally deleted and I created a new user name and the program has worked with the new user name. But when I tried to go to the original user account he wasn't there and I had to use Restore to recover.

I would like to copy files from the original user to the new user name, (office, send documents, etc.) of course the new usename is not displayed in windows now, but the files are still on the C: drive. What should I do to get all this done? What is this problem with user names does not and why Microsoft hasn't done a thing to correct? It obviously a known issue and every issue I see on this topic on the Microsoft forums there is never a response. What is the best thing for me to do to achieve this? I would like to give thanks to the prompt if possible. Does make sense for you?

    Here you go:

    1. Logging in as an administrator account.
    2. Use Windows Explorer to open files belonging to the old profile and the new account. Both are located under the folder c:\users.
    3. Copy different files and folders from the old to the new profile folders. You will be challenged by the mechanism of the UAC (User Account Control).
  • copying files crashes on two wk2012r2 guest vm 5.5 esxi

    Hello.

I'm sorry for the little explanation, but I'm trying to settle a strange question.

I have a client where I recently installed an exsi 5.5 and then the 2012 3 windows essentials of r2 as vms. All is well... any run of days with zero problems. Today software house team had to start working and they began to do something as simple as copying files on CIFS. VM is the same host esxi and same data store. As soon as they Empresa stick on the destination of the copy, it crashed the Esxi host! Never seen what happens before... anyone having the same problem?

The installation program is a server IBM (3650 M4)

with 16Gbs of ram and a data store from an IBM 4 SAS 10 k disks mounted on a raid 5 with a total of 835 GB. I only 56 GB free now because I have distributed the space between the virtual disks for virtual machines.

O wonder if this happened to any of you?

It is a known issue, workaround: switch to vmxnet3 (after installation) or disable RSS in driver

  • How can I transfer my copy of a computer CS6 6 years running XP Pro (which comes crashing) to a new desktop Win 10 under Win 10.  I have the original DVD of CS6. As I am a former amateur photographer, I have no interest in the CC = ie seru

The title says it all.  As indicated, I have the original DVD with its serial number.  This is probably the version 6 of Photoshop CS that I bought over the years.

I guess I should reactivate the old serial number or get a new one for my DVD CS6.

    Thank you.

    Elliott Novak

    Hey Elliot,

I checked with your ADOBE ID on the forums and found that you have Photoshop CS 6 registered under your account, you can get the serial number of your there. See how, find the serial number of your product Adobe quickly

Also, in order to download and activate Photoshop CS 6 you will need an internet connection and you can do this by going to the following link: download Creative Suite 6 applications

Let us know if that helps.

  • What is the origin of the iPhoto 9.4.3 keep crashing on launch.

What is the origin of the iPhoto 9.4.3 keep crashing on launch?

iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier began planting for many users suddenly a few weeks ago. This is because the contract between Apple and Google for the use of Google maps with iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier sites expired an elderly couple of months and was not renewed. This is the case of him freezes or crashes.

Now uses Apple its own program for locations maps and too the use you need to run iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks or 9.6.1 and Yosemite El Capitan or Photos and El Capitan.

Re: iPhoto crashes after opening several times in reply to carvermon Useful

I found a solution that works for me.

1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources (control (right) - click the iPhoto application and select the content in the context menu - OT.)

    2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html

iPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Let me know if it works for you guys...

Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident.  Log of course do the same thing. So it's pretty clear that something happened at the end of Google.

Don't forget to make a backup copy of the iPhoto application before performing this procedure.

Am trying to re - install Acrobat 9 Pro (includes the Distiller) after installing a new hard drive. iMac 27 "2009, ElCapitan 11.11.6. I have the original dmg file. have also tried copying from back up. Same thing is happening anyway. It seems to load correctly. When open it asks my password but not to its own serial number. It is open, but don't watch not at the full bar at the top, that the word Acrobat, and it does nothing? Worked very well before the old drive crashing. On the same operating system?

Not compatible does not mean that it cannot work (even if sometimes this does not mean that). This means that it has never been tested and not be fixed; This often means people have seen strange and unpredictable issues.

Acrobat makes changes to the system, it is always more vulnerable. DC Acribat is the current version. If the goal is to slow down completely, perhaps more profitable subscription activity.

  • 700 - 215XT envy: copy of the original OS

The machine is a HP Envy 700-215XT bought mid-2014. The machine is completely dead from one day to the next. It wouldn't boot. Not knowing much about HP, I advanced and formatted the HARD drive and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro x 64. The installation went well, but as it is not the exact copy supplied with the machine, I can not install any drivers. I can also not boot in using F11 recovery tool.

I am trying to find a way to restore the computer to its original state. Is it possible to get a copy of Windows from HP with the sticker of the product key on the machine?

Is there another approach, that I need to try?

    Thank you in advance!

  • HP ENVY 5530: reduce the original size when copying

    Hello:

I use a HP ENVY 5530 EPRINTER, printing, scanning, web copy and want to copy something. Its original size, I would like to narrow it down a bit. I went through the settings and made it very well. HOWEVER, where should I go from there in order to print.  When I go to RESIZE and hit done, the small screen displays 1 of 3, and if I come back at the beginning, I'm right where I started from; THE BEGINNING!

    NEED YOUR HELP.

    Thank you

    Hello

You can try to scan the document/image rather than copy it.

Once you have scanned, use the printing software to print the scanned document/image to what size you want. Printing options should be much broader than the copy options.

  • What is the 'best' way to copy a useful project again, so it can be changed without affecting the original?

I'm pretty much a newbie to LavVIEW.

I use LabVIEW complete edition on Windows 7 2012.  I copied a project using Save As duplicate in the Project Explorer.  He created an excessively long and complex directory structure.  He made "too long" (probably from the path being too long).

The intention was to obtain a copy of the project can be used to freely modify it without damaging the original.

I searched the Forum and knowledge base, do not see anything definitive.  I guess that information is already posted, but just, I have not been able to find.  A point in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mark

Copy the directory of the whole project to a new location

Delete the files .lvlps, .lvprog and the new .aliases copy

Start LabView and create a new empty project

In the project manager, add a new auto fill directory select the new copy of the project directory

Save the new project in the new project directory

Only caveat is that this does not all dependencies in your user.lib or inst.lib for the first time, you open a vi that you might find some of the dependencies that are not in the default locations.
