A link to a Destination without closing the Original Document

I created links to views of a master PDF to another PDF documents; However, my master PDF completely closes when I click on the link. I wish that the destination opening as a new file, as a standard link, but I don't see an option for this.

Is there a way to do this?

Thank you!

If you don't want to rely on the preference of the user as try67 mentioned, you can change the link after you create and specify that you want the PDF file to open it in a new window. It overrides the setting of the user preference. The key is that you need to change the link AFTER the implementation.

    How can I make a copy of my new convert pdf word document without losing the original document?

    Hi mariponce,

    What is the Word document you want to make a copy, or the PDF? In both cases, you can choose file > save as (in the appropriate application) and give the file a new name. For example, if you have a file named "HappyTimes.docx", you can choose file > save as and name the file "HappyTimes2.docx." Then you will have two Word files, and you can change one and leaving the others intact.

  • How to create a child window without closing the parent window

    Hi all

    I have a requirement to create a child window without closing the parent window. I have to click on an element in the parent window, then is expected to open a child window. The parent window must not be closed before you close the child window.

    Kindly help me in this.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Myvizhi

    Hi all

    I found the solution for this. I created a new page. Then I created an article in the style of link in the parent element, and I put the following properties in the link element:

    Destination URI: OA.jsp?page=/seagate/oracle/apps/seasoa/que/webui/SeaSoaHeaderDetailPG&headerId={@ErrHeaderId}&retainAM=Y&addBreadCrumb=Y&backPage=S

    Target framework: _blank

    This opens the new child window without closing the parent window.

    Thank you and best regards,

    2. when I open a new tab, I have to enter a Web site address. I expect the app to just open a new empty tab and let him to enter an address or not for me.

    Thank you for your support. I love firefox for Android.

    It is being developed and will be changed to allow the closure of the last tab in Firefox 18 or 19.

    Hi Experts,

    JDeveloper 12.1.3.0.0

    How can I display an error message on the listening port close popup without closing the popup.

    Thank you

    Roy

    As its name suggests, close listener of popup is called when popup is closed so you can not do this.

    If you want to display the popup message, use your own buttons instead of the ok/cancel default buttons and close the popup programmatically.

  • How come back initially on an editing session without closing the entire program and start again?

    How come back initially on an editing session without closing the entire program and start again?

    Hello

    There are two answers to this. If you have not saved the image since the opening, you can restore the file Menu-Revert or F12 and that will bring back you at the beginning. A more elegant solution is the historical Panel.

    Photoshop has a history panel (Windows Menu-history) that keeps track of everything you do on an image and allows you to go back in the flow of work and in effect then go ahead if you change your mind. The original image is always registered as a snapshot and then subsequent action recording. So you can come back not only the original image, but any previous change after opening. You can even take your own snapshots which is a useful feature.

    Hope that helps

  • What is the 'best' way to copy a useful project again, so it can be changed without affecting the original?

    I'm pretty much a newbie to LavVIEW.

    I use LabVIEW complete edition on Windows 7 2012.  I copied a project using Save As duplicate in the Project Explorer.  He created an excessively long and complex directory structure.  He made "too long" (probably from the path being too long).

    The intention was to obtain a copy of the project can be used to freely modify it without damaging the original.

    I searched the Forum and knowledge base, do not see anything definitive.  I guess that information is already posted, but just, I have not been able to find.  A point in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mark

    Copy the directory of the whole project to a new location

    Delete the files .lvlps, .lvprog and the new .aliases copy

    Start LabView and create a new empty project

    In the project manager, add a new auto fill directory select the new copy of the project directory

    Save the new project in the new project directory

    Only caveat is that this does not all dependencies in your user.lib or inst.lib for the first time, you open a vi that you might find some of the dependencies that are not in the default locations.

  • Smart objects - copy without referencing the Original SO?

    A question from me

    If I copy a raster layer several times for an animation to image, then it makes sense to do than the smart object layer.  What I do, but I'm missing something.  For example, there is a video going around on photo blogs today, a lady in charge by an elk, but missed the guy with the iPhone, so I quickly put together.

    Elk-Lady.gif

    The video has been radically challenged in the Department of pixel, so I made the Lady layer one OC and formulated a number of copies.  Same thing with the Elk (from a different source), where I used Puppet Warp to simulate a bucking motion.  In both cases, Free transforming the PW YES, or using copied, caused the original SO layer to reflect the changes.  Not good at all. And it's something that's happened to me before.

    Then a little later, Google I found this old threadand tried his advice to slide SO the layer to the new icon of layer instead of using Ctrl j.  But that's where it weird, because now I could use Ctrl j and PW as before and modify a copied SO layer without affecting the original.

    Someone has a good understanding of why my SOs don't always work in the same way for me?  I guess I should man to the top and RTFM, but I was using what I thought exactly the same workflow in different documents and get different behavior.

    Working with smart objects in Photoshop

    I don't see this problem in PS CC 2015 (Mac) with copy/duplicate methods. Are you sure that you not open the parent (SO) and the transformation (Puppet Warp or free transform) running on the child (content)?

    Application of puppets Warp to a smart object layer apply PW as a dynamic filter that is only attached to this layer (you will see in the layers), and if none of the other layers will be affected by PW. But if you run PW on duplicate content, clicking on a smart object to see the child record, then all layers will be affected.

    Looks like you know what you're doing, but the PW behavior as a dynamic filter is specifically designed for the layer that the smart filter is applied.

  • Cannot change the original document in preview

    Hello

    After upgrading to Sierra, I can no longer edit a document in preview mode before without making a copy. When I opened a pdf file of Evernote in the preview and change, I get the message, "the original document is not editable, so created a duplicate with your changes." I can't understand how to solve this problem. Any ideas, or is this a bug?

    Preview continues to be a viewer and annotation tool, but it's not a PDF Editor. You can add multiple annotations and save the PDF file on itself and leave the preview. When you reopen the document, you can edit your annotations.

    I can open a PDF form, enter some content in the fields of the form with preview and then save it back on itself. Reopen it in preview, I can change the content previously placed in the fields of the form. Still no offer to duplicate the PDF file.

    Can't reproduce your problem with 9.0 and macOS Sierra 10.12.0 Preview (A 16, 323).

    Do not use Evernote.

  • Flattening of the dynamic objects to the original document and keep their Hi-Rez detail detail

    Hello, I am under difficulties with ram collapse my Photoshop files, please let me know if this is how to use smart objects for their Hi-Rez details, change your object voluntarily collapse / compress in the original document while retaining all of your changes and detail Hi-Rez to save on ram? If If Yes, what is the procedure?  I searched everywhere on the net and have not found an answer to this question.  I'm under that Photoshop CS6 extended on OSX 10.9 Mavericks.

    Thank you

    (You definitely lose any advantage that Smart Objects give you when you flatten (the same applies to any other characteristic, such as layer masks).) Flattening is usually used to save on resources (such as Trevor mentioned).)

    Thank you, Warunicorn, I do understand that you lose the benefits of dynamic objects, I guess what I'm trying to ask is to make you lose the appearance that smart objects gave you when you group documents? For me if the image looks still even with objects with or without smart objects their pixelated it does not matter that smart objects or they aren't. I seek only the general appearance, is he always looks good as he has done with smart objects. ?

    Thank you for your help,

    When just flattening? Of course, they look alike. It's when you go to register in a particular format is where things start to get sticky. (As the backup format JPEG.)

  • Why the fonts are not included in the original document incorporated in the converted document?

    I have a series of Word 97 .doc with text and tables using different fonts, all files in the .doc file. After the conversion of all fonts, but that display correctly, but the layout is different from the original, making it unusable. Police not included (and there is no error message) is a font of chess and is incorporated in the word file. After the conversion, because the police of chess is not embedded in the pdf file, the diagrams of chess displayed not correctly. It is also sometimes fragmented over the pages, while in the original document, the layout is correct.

    What I am doing wrong? Or I expect too much of this service?

    I can convert to pdf correctly using Word itself, and it converts properly, but... I need press quality, so try this service.

    Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello brians.

    I doubt that you're doing something wrong. Some fonts have license that prevents them to be incorporated. Where did you got the police which is not fitted properly?

  • Any paragraph styles are not the same as the original document

    I use InDesign CC 9.2 x 64

    I have the document with a series of master pages and paragraph styles. I wanted to move them in a blank document, as well as a few pages of the original document.

    In the new document I loaded master pages and paragraph styles, and everything seems to be okay. I moved a few pages in the document and paragraph styles do not seem to get the same thing. It seems greater than in the original document line spacing, but I can't find what the problem is

    It's really annoying, since the point of the whole of paragraph styles, it's that they ensure consistency!

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    What can go wrong with it is that the paragraphs are aligned on the grid of reference set in the preferences.
    Two different documents can have two different settings for it. Check the baseline grid in preferences and adapt one to the other setting.

  • How to send a file without closing the socket?

    I wrote a program to transfer a file by using the tcp connection, where I closed the socket because the receiver must detect the end-file.  But now I would extend it to several files for which I shouldn't close the socket until all files are sent. I can't find a way to do this. So please help to solve.

    Such a long thread, so many errors.

    > Send an end of file marker after each file

    Eventually, which cannot work unless the EOF marker can occur in the file, which is unknowable, or there is a convention of escape agreed where it occurs in the file. In which case, you must also apply the convention to escape to escape Convention. For example, you can terminate with ETX and escape with ESC, but this means that the ETX and ESC must be escaped in the data file, and which in turn means that you need to escape out of ETX and ESC ESC ESC when you receive.

    > In the link, they said the error to happen is because of the header

    No, in the link, they said that the error is caused by using a BufferedReader and then read directly the data stream. Jet disappears in a BufferedReader, err, buffering.

    > BufferedReader has a read (byte [] buffer) method

    No, BufferedReader doesn't have a read (byte [] buffer) method.

    Follows a proven response, unspeculative with code.

    1 use the sender DataOutputStream and DataInputStream to the receiver.

    2 send the file name with writeUTF() and read with readUTF().

    3. send the length of file with writeLong() and read it with readLong().

    4. send and receive exactly that number of bytes, as follows:

    length = din.readLong (); in the receiver, or File.length (to sender)

    total length = 0;

    int count;

    ubyte [] buffer = new byte [8192]; or what you want, any size > zero

    While (total < length="" &&="" (count="din.read(buffer," 0,="" (int)math.min(buffer.length,="" length-total)))=""> 0)

    {

    dout. Write (buffer, 0, count);

    Total += count;

    }

    Errors and omissions excepted. You can use this code on both ends.
